Looking forward to this one, mate. I bought some khao soi and pad krapow last night for the parents .. to try and let them taste what I was eating for the past month in Thailand .. and both were absolute rubbish! Think I'll look to make my own .. until I can get back to the real thing. Man, I already can't wait for that day! Lol.
This one, Mate. No hangers on, no RUclipsrs, just you, doing it right. Great Mowlem music, FAB looking food you can almost taste. We’ve only been back in Blighty 5 days and need to get back to this. Awesome work, my friend.
Great content, mate. Nana and I went to this market, but missed all the great food you got haha! Yet another reason for me to come back! Your flavor identification is excellent and a good teaching tool. Instead of simply gobbling down my delicious khao soi gai .. nothing wrong with that! .. it's useful and helpful when you show us how to "look" for those individual flavors too. Also, love the community vibe .. people living in each other's lives and not simply in their own!
In my views, when you were talking about Thai foods or eating Thai’s foods is very imported” to mention the Rice. Most of Thai foods will serve and eat with rice. Example ,Num pricks,Curries, and soups do need to eat with rice or vegetables to get a good tasting of combinations, and enjoyed the flavors of that mixes in your mouth. This is not a laws but that is the ways we eat Thai foods.😊 I enjoy watching you. Thank you for continue to make your RUclipsrs possible.
For sure Jana, Thai food, especially the curry and nam prik have to have rice but today I couldn't fit it in 😅 I did take home the prik ong and hung lay and ate with rice when I got home for dinner 😃
Wowwww- you did it again Gary! Love all the dishes you’ve ordered and thanks so much for describing the flavors and yes, I’ll be having all of that in February 😊 Thanks for sharing this awesome video 🙏🏼
Easy mate, long time no speak. Still following you pal. Love you calling out the other good food vloggers like Micky S. Will be in Bangkok next Jan/Feb. Would be good to catch you somewhere pal
Hi Bruce, food cooked in clay pots taste so much better than in metal pots. I can assure you. I wish I can find clay pots in AR, you know? The cooked rice or stew will taste... on the next level.
@@pannachawangkul585 I agree with you. My mom used to cook rice in a clay pot long long time ago. It was epic especially the crunchy parts on the bottom of that pot😋
@@theroamingcook I appreciate the offer, but will cost you an arm and a leg for shipping fee, so, no thank you. I would rather you save your money to roam. I shipped a box of 5lbs to Denmark last Christmas, it costs me $398, more than the 🎁 inside. You just enjoy the good flavor for me, ok?
I'm glad I watched this just before cooking to get my food mojo working. All those dishes looked and sounded like winners, but what I would have wanted first was the raw beef dish in the intro, sort of Thai version of steak tartare which I love.
🤦♂I so wish i could just do a food holiday and have the time whilst in Thailand .But working just for a holiday just to simply relax on a beach (Need to wind down )and paying my mortgage .You have a great life and family mate 👍Thanks for your time Gary once again 🙏You have seriously opened my eyes concerning food stalls and what they sell .I should already know to a point but relaxing is my game as i said before .Thank you
😍Thailand is a foodie paradise.😋😋 🥰I love Khao Soi, A deliciously rich, creamy, slightly spicy yellow curry dish originating in Northern Thailand.😍 😍mouth-watering food!!😘💋💕
Thanks for good video. The next place I would recommend you is "ตลาดริมน้ำวัดศาลเจ้า" located at Pathumthani. If you come, please let me know. I will take you to the most delicious Somtam restaurant in the world.
There used to be a restaurant called Katy's Kitchen in Chiang Mai that had a pumpkin Khao Soi that was killer. Unfortunately, the owner moved the restaurant to France. Their menu said Khao Soi originated in China but I don't know.
@@theroamingcook I'm having my doubts on this one. Northern Thai food is so diverse and for me there is still so much to learn. Let's see in a few weeks we'll get to try loads and loads of Northern Thai food on site...
Some thing you should tell Farang friends is that in one bite all thai food must eat with rice either streamed or sticky rice, or the taste becomes sour or spicy. ( maybe one sip to taste it) . Rice helps share strong taste of food and enhance flavor. Exceotion is when you eat with beer but beer helps reduce strong taste thought.
