I love your picks, especially for the exhibits! I think we're well overdue for a gecko inclusion especially - I'd love to see them sticking to the glass like the snails. Mammal exhibits would also be amazing, for things like bats and rats if you wanna go spooky!
Old Country you're one of the best speculators in the PZ community, and I respect you very much. But I have my own Nocturnal Pack wishlist, and I'm looking forward to hear your opinions to it. My wishlist meets the standard of continents and niches. First of all, when it comes to the flagship animal, the Tasmanian Devil (EN) is second to none. It’s needless to utter any explanation to them. Being top high on the meta wishlist since Conservation Pack have released, the apex predator in Australia/Oceania will be everyone's first choice, doubtlessly. Secondly, nocturnal primate and herbivore are definitely needed. We still need more monkeys and small mammals. Speaking of the former, no one could compare to the Aye-aye (EN) from my viewpoint. They’re the biggest nocturnal primate as well as the most weird-looking lemur species in the world. As an animal once considered extinct, they were re-discovered in 1957 and introduced to the public. The number of their population shrinks drastically due to deforestation in Madagascar. Malagasy natives viewed them as bad omens, these poor creatures often were killed and hung up. It shall be a good idea that Frontier could highlight them and raise conservation awareness, reminding us we shouldn’t step in the same river twice. Speaking of the latter, Taipei Zoo, my hometown zoo used to have a Nocturnal House (which is replaced by a more modern Rainforest Dome now) that owned African Crested Porcupine (LC) as star animal. They are ranking high up on third place in the meta wishlist, and one of the best representatives of Africa in this pack. Next on, just as Mr. NachoB had said, “it will be incomplete when it comes to Nocturnal Pack without cats.” We nearly get all of the big cats, and it’s time for we cat lovers enjoying small cats. Arabian Sand Cat (LC) might be the one I wanted eagerly. Having fluffy big ears and gold coat with black stripes, sand cat looks alike adorable domestic cat. However, they are successful night hunters in the desert. Aside from rodents, reptiles and bugs, they are excelled at hunting venomous snakes as Horned and Sand vipers. Unique, charming and aggressive, they’re the best choice representing Asia. Ground dwelling bird might follow suit after that. Needless to say, North Island Brown Kiwi (VU) is the most widely praised one. Even if we have the flying mechanics of owls and bats, this cutie NZ national bird might still have a role to play. Ensuring the second Oceania animal, it’s time to wave goodbye to wombats, Lord Howe Island stick insect, and New Caledonian giant gecko, which is a great pity. Four completed and still three needs to go. When our travel heads to the New World, two popular animals which need special mechanics come to our horizons. They are Nine Banded Armadillo (LC) of NA and Linnaeus's Two Toed Sloth (LC) of SA. After burrowing mechanic applied to PZ since African Pack, nearly one animal in each pack are having it. Why not armadillo now? Due to the new mechanic of siamang in the Conservation Pack, enrichment items made for hanging animals come to possible. Sloth is my number one in the wishlist, and I really think it’s time for them to make their debut in PZ. Last but not least, the amazing exhibit animal might be a gecko. I choose the most popular Tokay Gecko (LC), but I’m fine with other species. As a player calling for giant salamander and cobra so much, both of them don’t meet the needs of this pack. *Scenery Pack: Tasmanian Devil (EN) Aye-aye (EN) North Island Brown Kiwi (VU) Linnaeus's Two Toed Sloth (LC) Tokay Gecko (LC) *Alternative Animals Tasmanian Devil (EN, Oceania, flagship animal&apex predator) Pygmy Slow Loris (EN, Asia, nocturnal primate) Southern Pudu (NT, New World, nocturnal herbivore) Caracal (LC, Africa, small cat) Tawny Frogmouth (LC, Oceania, nocturnal bird) Southern Hairy Nosed Wombat (CE, Oceania, burrowing mechanic) Fossa (VU, Madagascar, hanging mechanic) Leopard Gecko (LC, Asia, exhibit animal) Greetings from Taiwan.
I like pretty much all the animals, also the alternatives, I do also think the bat would really work in an exhibit, imagine the cave decor, I think it would look awesome. I do wonder if we wouldn't need the animals to actually behave nocturnally, there is no such mechanism in the game currently, but it would be nice to have these animals actually needing "darkness" to be awake.
Also I should add that though the muntjac and pudú are really good ungulate choices I would go with one of the chevrotains personally. They may not be terribly popular (mostly because they’re somewhat unknown and are uncommon in zoos) but they’re adorable and definitely fit the idea of nocturnal. Not likely still but a man can dream (and there’s the fact the spectacled caiman was added randomly in the last animal pack)
ooh yes the mouse deer would be a great choice! No matter what I think Frontier is going to add another ungulate, hopefully one of the smaller species!
I would add the the common wombat as we desperately need more Australian animals. So I think the tassie devil and wombat will both be in this potential dlc
Great video! I am also hoping for a nocturnal dlc, but I wouldn't be surprised if the theme was something the community won't see coming 😂 I just really hope we don't get another amphibian lol. Nothing against them personally, we just haven't had a reptile added to the game since the Aquatic Pack.
I think it's because it's very rare over here in the States and I just haven't built a love or connection with it like others have. I still think it deserves to be in the game however
Well.. kiwi is a bird (And yes... i know its flightless... but it might be too small in the game we have currently without Aviaries) + it isn't that well included in zoos outside of Australia either... which is another point against a possible inclusion.
If there's for Nocturnal, I'm hoping for a striped hyaena, fosa, Tasmanian devil/Marsupial hyaena, nine-banded armadillo, raccoon, golden jackal, Little Blue penguin, and Planet Zoo's first exhibit mammal, a Giant African Pouch rat.
I would love a Kiwi in a nocturnal animal pack. They are my favorite animals and would be great for a nocturnal animal as almost every zoo that has them in nocturnal habitats.
From Nocturnal Animal Pack, I suppose to have Tasmanian Devil, Wombat or Raccoon, Indian Crested Porcupine, Aye-Aye, Fossa, Nine-Banded Armadrillo, Maned Wolf or Striped Hyena & exhibit Gecko.
Island animal Pack Fossa/Aye Aye (Madagascar), since i don't think they will include both in the same pack.. so either one of the other can be in the Nocturnal one. Tasmanian Devil/Fairy Penguin (Since technically, Australia and New Zealand are Islands) Sumatran Tiger or Javan Leopard (Interchangable imo, but prefer another Tiger). Galapagos Sea Lion/Hawaiian Monk Seal/Loggerhead Sea Turtle Pacific Boa (Exhibit animal)
Personally (using your order) Id prefere they add Taz Devil Two Toed Sloth - Why do we not have sloths yet? Bush Baby Fossa Armadillo Aye-Aye or slow Loris Wombat Geckos or Hedgehog

All I know is whatever is coming I'm excited for it!

I just really hope we don't get another amphibian lol. Nothing against them personally, we just haven't had a reptile added to the game since the Aquatic Pack.
I did a video were I talked about why I think a Nocturnal Pack would be an expansion pack.
You don't want a kiwi? Boo.
I think it's because it's very rare over here in the States and I just haven't built a love or connection with it like others have. I still think it deserves to be in the game however

I like almost every single inclusion here, but I would swap out the Maned Wolf for the Caracal for completely personal reasons.
I would not be disappointed with a caracal! They're amazing animals!
Awesome list! I'd be done for all of that!
I don’t personally under stand why they wouldn’t put bats in!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You predicted the future! Literally, when I clicked on this video I believed it was made after the pack since it was so accurate

From Nocturnal Animal Pack, I suppose to have
Tasmanian Devil, Wombat or Raccoon, Indian Crested Porcupine, Aye-Aye, Fossa, Nine-Banded Armadrillo, Maned Wolf or
Striped Hyena & exhibit Gecko.
I'm honestly hoping we get something like this and we get animals like the Tasmanian devil and fossa. fingers crossed
I can see either nocturnal animal pack or islands animal pack
Islands, Nocturnal and Woodlands are the 3 best guesses as of right now since they all could support the Tasmanian Devil
@@OldCountry yeah I thought that a general woodlands or forests pack would work too
Island animal Pack
Fossa/Aye Aye (Madagascar), since i don't think they will include both in the same pack.. so either one of the other can be in the Nocturnal one.
Tasmanian Devil/Fairy Penguin (Since technically, Australia and New Zealand are Islands)
Sumatran Tiger or Javan Leopard (Interchangable imo, but prefer another Tiger).
Galapagos Sea Lion/Hawaiian Monk Seal/Loggerhead Sea Turtle
Pacific Boa (Exhibit animal)
Personally (using your order) Id prefere they add
Taz Devil
Two Toed Sloth - Why do we not have sloths yet?
Bush Baby
Fossa
Armadillo
Aye-Aye or slow Loris
Wombat
Geckos or Hedgehog
Where is the meta list??
