This is my second favourite pack ever - and only because I worked with almost every animal in the Southeast Asia pack. This lineup is just amazing 😁 So happy to see the swan, I never thought we’d actually get one!
Very excited for this pack. The Wild Boar, the Vizent, and the Wolverine were on the top of my wishlist and the Mute Swan is another winner I hadn't seen coming, though. Very good for ambience as it's very common in zoos here in Scandinavia with any kind of ponds. Not too excited by the Saiga, the Sloth Bear and Takin, but they are fine. I would have preferred the Musk Ox instead of the Taiga, but that would also have been too many bovines for one pack. Exhibit animal is exhibit animal. Would have preferred a walk-through exhibit with an owl.
Last year, obviously we got grasslands, which in my opinion is the best pack we will ever get. This pack is decent, but I feel it would have been better if they did a mountains theme instead of limiting themselves to one continent.
For me it’s alright, happy for Sloth bear and Takin, fine with Wolverine, Saiga, Swan, and the Tortoise, but I’m kinda dissapointed with the Wysant and definitely the Wild Boar, but that’s just cause we just got the Collarred Peccary, which is different but similar enough to me they should’ve waited. Personally I also think it’s too much hoovestock for one pack, I’m glad we get more, but it could’ve been distributed a bit better.
I can't believe were finally getting the Wolverine, lately Planet Zoo has been adding a lot of wish list animals. I can never look at the American Bison the same way again 😂 Sorry you don't really like this oack but at least were getting gift shops and A NEW BIRD, and me personally i didn't think Europe had alot of animals.
I'm with old country on the wisest and boar, ik they have their fans and I'm happy for them but not for me. I'm actually super hyped for the saiga even though they're almost nonexistant in captivity and the swan since my local zoo has a big beautiful swan pond Also been wondering if we'd ever get another temperate exhibit animal since the salamander in Europe 2 years ago but looks like the tortoise will use it to

Wow! I actually managed to correctly predict 5 of the 8 animals for the Eurasia pack in which I predicted the European bison, saiga, takin, wild boar and wolverine. I'll also say that this would probably be my second favourite animal pack for Planet Zoo when it comes to its animal selection since it mainly consists of animals that are prominent in captivity in Europe.
I think you got something wrong, they do not give us the merch, plushies, mugs etc as individual pieces, they will be part of the ones you can select via a menu, so they just appear once selected, they made that pretty clear. What they mean with own custom props is exactly what it says: your own stuff that you made out of other pieces like the egg figures. Sorry to dissapoint ya

This line is what bothers me, "We've added fully functional shops that you can jazz up piece-by-piece with displays, shelves and even a checkout counter and till." Personally I don't think we need another animal pack for NA but these would be the animals I would choose - American Black Bear - Elk - Wild Turkey - White-nosed Coati - North American Porcupine - Mountain Goat - Red Wolf - Alligator Snapping Turtle (exhibit)
I'm with you on this. The pack theme is off with 3 animals not "Eurasian"...and if they did that, why not do a cobra? The animal roster is kinda meh to me...with Wisent and maybe Wolverine and Saiga the only ones I have any interest in using.
I am watching alot of planet zoo youtubers. And this game isnt America zoo(its Planet Zoo). And your already predicting you arent gonna use certain species when you dont give them a chance. Maybe you should.
I build realistic zoos from the perspective of the AZA. Wisent aren't found in a single zoo here, Wild Boar are only in 1, Saiga can't be kept out of their native range, and the Mute Swan isn't very common here at all. Like I said, I'm happy for all of the European Players that got a lot of love this year, but this pack just isn't for the realistic North or South American builder. I could also make the case that this game isn't "Europe Zoo" after all Europe has now received 4 scenery sets in the DLC season, where NA has received 0, and also now a second pack with a decent amount of animals, most only found in Europe or Asia. I like to see diversity in my packs so I'm sorry if you can't handle the fact that I love animals from North and South America. It's fine for people to not like things. I never attacked anyone who likes this and never will. It just ain't for me.
@@OldCountry but what kinda builder pack you want for NA. Thats true you need NA pack with scenery. But do you want cowboys or native buildings. And what animals do we need from north america? We have the most important ones. Than on south america ,yes! We need atleast 2 packs with animals from there

Many zoos here small and big have some sort of Native American representation in their NA sections, so any representation of any tribe or multiple tribes would be fantastic! I'm not a Native American but I do have a small percentage of Cherokee in me due to some distant relatives. But I totally love their culture! Cowboy culture would be cool but it's not really common outside the Southwest so definitely not a priority. And this is coming from a Texan LOL! But totally agree South America needs an Animal Pack, and Central America, specifically a Mexico scenery pack is needed too!

After sleeping in it, I think Black Buck might have been a better choice than the saiga 😭
I’m glad for people that are excited, but as someone who loves South America and its animals, this year has been super disappointing for me.
