I am honestly fine with getting a more "niché" packs once in a while with animals that are lesser known. I liked Southeast Asia pack for the same reason. At first a was like "eh, bit ungulate heavy" but it is honestly growing on me after seeing the amazing quality of the animals. Not every pack will have only those exciting new animal types and it is honestly fine. Diversity is important to be able to create all kind of zoos. Plus we are getting a Porcupine, which is a huge win for the community as some people were worried it would be too hard to create.
I was watching zoo tours living desert africa video yesterday, and I realized that we are getting around 33% of the species in that section in this pack!
You know the Addax, the Somali Wild Donkey, Dromedary Camel, and the Eastern Black Rhino were one of my suggestive choices for Frontier to make. Though I do hope that they could make the Rhino run perfectly like real rhinos do running up to 20 miles an hour.
Speaking of Photo-realistic, just imagine how Frontier would think if they had to do Aviary birds. I have been listing down the same choices I have put out and think of them as Habitat birds, meaning for them to fly freely in the habitat spaces. You can check them out. And see if Frontier would think so.
@OldCountry I know exactly how you feel, in the beginning, some of the animals they choose make me feel bad about the packs , but as time goes on , they grow on me ^^ And the planet zoo teams work on animal designs and detail just can’t ever seem to disappoint at this point, they’re so beautiful ^^. Do you their amazing work might help support this game to go even farther with DLC’s or possibly support a sequel game with Planet Zoo 2? ^^

Yea i think the rhino is just at a bad angle, but DAMN is it my favorite by far
