    Taking a break from Cyberpunk 2077 content with a good old Elite Dangerous video!
    I wanted to showcase how I've made money with my Vulture combat build and I hope it helps new CMDRs whom are looking to pick one up from a space station.
    Cheers lads!

    I run 2x rapid fire/oversized Pulses on mine, very good shield damage and still great damage against hulls. Even engineered, the distributor will eventually run empty with 4 pips to WEP, but there is enough downtime during maneuvers to recharge.
    Besides, no need to worry about ammo supply! About the jitter that comes with pulses, it isn't really an issue as you have the speed to stick to targets easily. NPC large ships, you can just stick on their ass, and even medium ships will struggle to shoot you very much, especially if you add Chaff onto the mix.

      A fully A-rated Vulture runs around 20-30 million credits to build in game. It seems like a lot of cheddar but with a kill warrant scanner equipped doing exactly what JustThomanese was doing in this video, he can make 5-10 million credits per hour just off of the bounties. That doesn't include his payouts for the missions he was doing. If he were to go to a hazardous extraction site in the rings of a planet, he can make 10-20 million per hour without picking up the first mission. That FDL (Fer-De-Lance) he killed in the beginning is worth over 1 million credits alone if it is high enough in pilot level and he scans it with a KWS before killing it.

    I'm subscribing because I assume you are a pretty new content provider and I like to help new content providers out. I like to see new content because the big channels that provide content get boring for me at times after watching them for over 5 years. I especially like this kind where it helps out newcomers to the game. The only change to your Vulture that I'd recommend would to be to get a kill warrant scanner fitted. KWS will literally double your money output per ship on average and sometimes more. Yes, the Vulture is the best combat ship out of all of the small ships. After you get that dude engineered, it will be a force to be reckoned with against ANY other ship. I like the choice of beam/dakka weapons as it is very efficient and will bring targets down quickly (even NPC condas/cutters). Engineer dakka with autoloader with corrosive shell and overcharge that beam. That is after you overcharge the powerplant of course. The PP hamstrings the Vulture's potential, but it is an absolute beast once you get the PP putting out more power so engineering the PP should be the first component that you get done. Grade 5 dirties and that thing will haul ass and turn like an Eagle. I still have my Vulture from 5 years ago and I absolutely love it.

    • @Thomanese
      @Thomanese  3 года назад +2

      Thanks for the sub and info on Vulture engineering! I originally had the KWS in mind but the overloaded PP made me retract from adding it onto the build. Unlocking engineers is still something that needs to get done on my end. I only have the Multicannons modified so far

    • @uh60rider2000
      @uh60rider2000 3 года назад +2

      @@Thomanese outstuckinfanding! Work those engineers as you can. Also, a neat money making trick for a new player in a sidewinder is to go to high/medium/low resource extraction sites (not hazardous). Allow the system cops to start hammering on a wanted target and just get a few hits in without drawing aggro. As long as you do some damage, you get credit for the bounty. Easy money

    • @Thomanese
      @Thomanese  3 года назад +2

      Eyy! You earn credits through missions, selling exploration data and hunting down pirates. The only paid transaction is the ARX currency for purchasing ship cosmetics. I haven't stepped foot in Star Citizen yet because that's a little more complex in gameplay compared to E:D. 😅

    • @uh60rider2000
      @uh60rider2000 3 года назад

      There are infinite ways to earn in game credits in ED. Like JustThomanese said, missions, selling exploration data, passenger transport missions, data transport missions, bounty hunting, mining, trading, there's a powerplay feature (that needs updating), you can go xeno hunting (Thargoids) once you get the right ship setups and Guardian components. One Thargoid interceptor kill will pay you 8, 16, 32, or 64 million credits depending on the level of Thargoid it is that you kill. I just kill the lowest level interceptors and get paid 8mil per kill. This game is so fun. I've been playing it since it came out over 5 years ago. If you're new, there are a ton of videos describing ways to make money and guide new players to success

    • @Thomanese
      @Thomanese  2 года назад

      What you can do is look up "RES finder" before taking on missions. Massacre missions will always tell you the system and locations to hunt them in but the only way to find out if there are actual Resource Extraction Sites in said systems is through that RES finder app.
      Hope that helps o7

    How did you know what system to go to collect your bounties?

    • @Thomanese
      @Thomanese  3 года назад +1

      Normally for bounty hunting target missions, you will head back to the system where you picked up the mission from which you can find under the 2nd from the left tab of Navigation. After collecting the mission rewards, look into contacts in the station menu and look for Authority Contacts or Legal Facilities to get paid extra for non-mission related bounties. If the station doesn't have one said facilities, go to EDDB.io to search for them in neighboring systems.
      Payouts depend on the faction you're claiming the bounties from, so be sure that you claim them within the same system you did your bounty hunting in.

    Are these missions good for solo CMDR? Because then I tried a massacre mission the other pirate ship backs up on the pirate ship that I targetted

    • @Thomanese
      @Thomanese  3 года назад

      From my experience so far, Massacre Missions with payouts under 10 mil credits are doable in solo with an unengineered/ partially engineered ship. The mission you're referring to is similar to a Wing mission I did with a payout of 30 mil and the targets always started with a single Anaconda calling in reinforcements after you start shooting at it.
      Odds are that the combat rank suggested for said solo massacre mission was higher than Competent/ Expert, and newer CMDRs may overlook that one detail.
