My fav way to make credits is rescue passengers from thargoid under attack large stations.
4-6 jumps range, get the rep to ally and enjoy 120-180m per trip.
the catch is if your too fast you saturate it, but you can come back 3-5 times a day spaced apart and make that value always.

@@tomasbancak8752 I use a Type 7 for burning station rescue missions. It has a surprisingly good amount of passenger capacity, is easier to land than the other larger passenger ships, and you won't completely clear the board so you don't have to wait for resets. Trying to make the ship cold doesn't change much from what I've tried (you're still popping one heat sink going in and one on your way out). Build is just A rated power plant, economy cabins and heat sink launchers.

you can use something else for the computer, also thee passenger cabins i switch around depending what station im running. some stations when at max rep give more business options. the heat sync is the pre engineered one.
all you need are the three ECM one setup for each button and the third as a back up in case both are on CD.
it takes a little to understand how far missles and limpets are from you but basically pay attention to your radar and when you see white get ready to use ECM and boost in a slightly different angle so the missile doesn't dumb fire hit you.
exiting the stations if they are full of thargoids i boost around to behind the station to make them take longer to reach me while i boost away to jump.
EDSY says 39 jump but its more like 41.
4-6 jumps away is paying me 150m average per trip, and it takes about 15-20 minutes each trip.

There are always a few markets in the bubble that buy Monazite at around 750k credits. Also, the ring density plays a role in core mining; find a dense ring with multiple Monazite hotspots, preferably of density over 8 or 9 ton/km^2. In my experience, you can collect 192 tons of Monazite in one or two hours, which is not a bad deal.

I do afk, let me explain why.
The grind in this game is ......fucked, but I did it. The fleet carrier was my end game goal.
I milked low temprature diamonds when they were the go for about the same time that you would spend to complete any other solid game just to get it.
It makes me happy. It's my space home base.
But now there is a negative loop to keep it based on upkeep.
I refuse to loose it. Makes me happy. It's a show of my success and accomplishment in the game (if even only for me).
Afk farming I can do while I'm at work (luxury of working from home to be fair), it means I can play once per 6 months to keep it.
The Down side of upkeep is when I feel the urge to dive in and try something, all I care about is space cheddar (to quote another cdmr) rather and experimenting with other game play.
It's a negative game play loop the really grates me.
Get ride of upkeep. If they don't log on for 3 months warp it out into storage or something. They can work it out.
Draining our grinded funds It's the biggest fuck you to the player base if ever there was one.
It's the pinnacle of your game play
    Don't make it a negative.

You can still do the massacre stacking solo. Pirate kills are tracked for missions on a PER FACTION basis. So if you get a 5m "Kill 10 pirates" mission from The Union of United Uniters and another 5m "Kill 10 pirates" from The Liberal Party of Free Freedom, you get paid 10m after 10 kills. In the right places, you can stack these from 6-10 different factions.
I regularly get a stack of 20 missions which require between 70-100 kills (per faction, not combined), kill them off in about 2 hrs, and walk home with around 300-400m credits, plus my paltry 20-30m bounties. And that's solo, no wing stacking. I don't have friends. :(

Problem with "rushing through The Grind so you can get to the stuff you enjoy" is that 90% of "the stuff you enjoy" will be the same stuff you've just rushed through.... because there isn't anything else.
There are exceptions but, for example, if you're rushing through the grind so you can buy a fully-loaded combat Corvette to space Anacondas, it'll be exactly the same gameplay if you were flying a Cobra and using it to space Adders and DBXs.
Maybe you want to buy an Anaconda so you can go space-trucking but, again, it'll be exactly the same gameplay if you were flying an AspX.
Sure, you can do stuff on a "higher level" with a top-tier ship but the actual gameplay IS identical.

Oh, there is another "classic" trade route in the Taygeta system, from Titan's Daughter station. This is an easy back and forth money maker. You take missions to fill up your cargo with, make 1 jump to another station to complete the missions, then you can buy another commodity to take back to Titan's Daughter for s smaller profit return trip. Do this enough, you get better missions with better rank with the local factions. Round trip, takes about 15 to 20mins, give or take, and there is not much risk. Apart from the usual NPC pirate interdiction now and then.

  • @EugeeFGII
    @EugeeFGII 6 месяцев назад +1

Can confirm the wing mission massacre stacking works quite well. Everyone on the wing stacks up as many missions as possible. Everyone runs a KWS. We would typically have a wing of 4 people, with each of us having 10-15 missions, and needing to kill around 90-120 pirates. Once they were all finished, then you return back to base, and then TAKE TURNS sharing your mission, let everyone turn it in, then you turn it in. Rinse and repeat for each person till all the missions are turned in. Then we all go to our squadron carrier to turn in our bounties, which will let you turn in all bounties you picked up (even if you would have had to travel around to jurisdictions normally). Yes, 25% of the bounties go to the carrier--but since we control the carrier... I once made 850M in just over 2 hours, counting the hand-ins.
The problem is still that for this to be effective--you need to have a decked out ship that's probably fully engineered--meaning you probably don't need the money anymore, except for stuff like carrier upkeep. The last time we did this was right before we quit the game--loading up the carrier with enough credits to keep the upkeep paid for 5 years with all the services shut off. That was about 3 years ago lol.

Look for mining missions that ask for a material which can be purchased for less than the mission reward amount. For example, I've been seeing ones that ask for me to mine bertrindite or tritium , with a reward of 50 million credits. Then I just go and purchase it somewhere, within one or two jumps!

10 years and I still don't think I can buy engineering materials outright with credits. 10 years of background simulation being able to accommodate the idea that NPCs and players have gathered enough of these materials to create a secondary market with them, and failing to implement it. Billions of credits, and the only thing worth spending them on isn't in the game.
I'm currently doing system discovery and first footfall exobiology. If I'm going to grind, I'm going to get my name in the history books while I do it. No NPC or player to harass me, and the pleasing RNG of discovery - you never know what you're going to warp into.

FYI you can do the space conflict zones legit, as the missions don't care about the CZ difficulty in which you kill the ships. So you can just go do a low CZ and get the same mission reward. And if you get a wing up and share the wing missions, all kills count towards everyone's shared missions, so you can crank out the missions. With high faction for the mission-giver, you can get 30-40 mill per wing mission, letting you crank out over a hundred mil an hour per person in your wing.

I like to do things I find fun and I find combat fun so I do combat missions, I also have a bit of sleuthing trying to find good systems that allow to stack combat missions but like Yamiks says it is not very predictable. One of the things long time players do is figure out how the BGS works, that is fun for me, there is a wee community that tries to figure this stuff out and find money makers. But it's for fun. I also do piracy. And wear a fursuit.

AS a Mostly solo player :p I find the fleet carrier very worthwhile.. Currently 12k Ly from 'civilisation' and i can land, repair, refuel and cash in my loot from scanning flowers and goop as well as discoveries.. I make back more in 2 hours of very below average scanning to pay for a month of my investment :) I also have access to most of my ships and modules almost all of the time.
BUT! I mostly agree that if you are staying in the bubble you really dont need one.. With the possible exception of trade. It was nice to be able to put 15000 tritium in my cargo from a distance of under 10Ls, most of the time it was 25 - 30 Mn. Other commodities you can.. Fill it up.. move and sell it all faster than i could if i just used my cutter. What can i do with 5 bil? not much anymore really.. ive bought almost everything i will ever need in this game and have enough to buy at least 1 more FC. (No.. i cant own more than 1)
ANYWAYS.. For people just starting out! Listen to him! Dont buy a Fleet Carrier until you have nothing left to spend your money on!

You my friend are correct! heck, even a Python for doing Robigo mines - Sothis passenger mission can make very decent credits (boring though) OH! while im talking about the python and robigo runs.. you need a 5a FSD than can make the trip in 2 jumps.. think its 30.5? to make it easier.
Tip:- you can buy a pre-engineered 5a FSD from Babbage Gateway in Ceos from the human tech trader in the contacts list. for some engineering materials instead of credits. (Mostly for those that havent unlocked engineering)

🤣 Yamiks still on his Fleet Carrier rant... if money is so easy to make, which it is. Why not have one? I mean the biggest argument you had against them was the maintenance fees. I bought a fleet Carrier with a weekends of gameplay.... another weekend and I had many years (more than needed,l ets be honest here) in maintenance fees. So what exactly is the drawback to having one Yamiks? My homebase is mobile now, all my ships come with me...

Fleet carrier utilizes manipulative game design tactics to induce sunk cost as well as others.
The carrier really is a bad investment that needlessly take up your time and attention

    • @SolusVir
      @SolusVir 6 месяцев назад +2

@@TheYamiks You don't even need to do any farming to afford FC upkeep costs. It's cheap as fuck. There is no "sunk cost" in it at all. In fact, you can use a fleet carrier to farm much more efficiently than without one, if credits are a problem for you somehow at that point. With a fleet carrier, you don't need to worry about maximizing jump range or cargo space on any ship build ever again. You can mine with very little cargo space, transfer the commodities to your in-system fleet carrier, fill it up, then jump to a sell system and unload it all with your T9 (for example). Same principle applies to other "farming" operations. I seriously don't get the anti-FC position. It's weird. Like some kind of religious dogma or something.

I'm not sure this is a comprehensive guide.
Massacre Missions don't supplement my squad's BH pay. When done in a wing we can each stack 3 or 4 wing missions each at 20m to 39m CR per mission, spend about a half hour in a ring, and everyone gets to cash in on all the missions. Assuming an average payout of 20m CR per mission and minimally two missions per CMDR, you're talking around 160m per hour if it takes you one hour to complete your missions...which...if you know how to stack Massacre Missions...one mission will take just as long as 7. You can find systems where each faction supplies Massacre Missions for some pirate faction next door, and if you make sure to only take one mission from each faction, and the target faction is the same, one kill counts as one ship in every mission you have. A lot of my CMDRs end up spending more time waiting for the mission board to flip before heading into the ring than they actually spend in the ring.
I know this video is about primarily solo grind, and a lot of what you said about entry level for bounty hunting is true. That being said, once you have the ship, the Reputation with the factions you take missions from, and you've done a dozen or so Massacre Missions, you can expect to start seeing close to 50m CR in solo mission rewards, and can stack up to 7 faction's missions (remember: one per faction) and your target quantity maxes out around d 81 at first and goes as low as 32.
We spend a lot of time bounty hunting in my squad. You're kind of only scratching the surface in terms of optimization in this particular discipline. Just saying. You can come fly with us for a day and you'll see what I'm talking about.
