The worst to me are those match losing team mates that just use the tanks to snipe. So annoying and they 9 times out of 10 lose the game just by being selfish. Tanks are meant for pushing with infantry back up.

I mostly play on 200% dmg server where the artillery truck, heavy bomber, Vehicle camping and m1917 mg is banned, and in every single game the same guy either camps on the maps border with artillery truck (or if in amiens or other citymap) camps in places where you can't get behind him. Heavy bombers aren't that effective in this server since the plane spawns, it's shot down before it can release it's bombs on effective area.

Battlefield 1 lives! The deadest ive ever saw it was a year ago (western United States). Servers used to die at about midnight, but now, ive been able to find servers running 24/7. Its great to be back!
Some people’s games aren’t launching, HDR gets stuck on enabled for some people, ReShade doesn’t work anymore, Linux users can no longer play, and a lot of custom servers are broken :(

I start playing bf1 2 years ago I was shocked and confused how beautiful the game was how it gives you the feeling of the war and the musics they were the best no other game feels like bf1 for me it really a masterpiece and i still playing it

I usually joined servers with admins who handled them pretty quickly. If there were no admins, I’d just leave and hop into another match-there are plenty of full servers, at least in Europe.
Yeah I’ve played consistently on pc since 2021 and I have only ever encountered 2-3 cheaters on U.S servers. None of the community servers had any cheaters and they had the same configuration and progression of official servers so the game was thriving. The anti cheat is definitely appreciated though

It's easier to program and better for the servers if the game's player count are a power of 2 like 64 or 128. If you have a player count of say 80, you're practically using the same amount of space in memory as a server with 128 players.

I’m still playing regularly on PS4 - in my personal opinion, this is THE best battlefield game, hands down. The level of detail is insane. Here’s hoping the new battlefield gives even a slither of the delight this game does
For those thinking that BF1 is infested with hackers, it is not, there are but only in public servers and there are actually plenty of private servers with most of them having 5+ players in queue to join. In other words, this game even after 8 years still has lots of players and is totally worth playing.
Hopped on BF1 this weekend and glad i did. The WW1Elite servers were full and it was refreshing to be able to play some of the DLC maps (Fort Deveaux, Verdun Heights, Caporetto, Achi Babba, Tsartsyn, and River Somme). Servers were full all weekend and had a blast playing diff maps.
The thing with the arty truck is: if they made it the way it was back in BF1942, with scouts having to set up a time limited spotting scope, it would be nice teamwork…

They added anti cheat which is great. Now if they could just somehow make it cross platform for at least consoles and an option/filter with steam, that would truly revive the game.

It never needed a revive! All they did with this update was cause a bunch of errors and crashes for PC users, along with preventing, Linux, Steam Deck, windows 7, and realism mod users from being able to play the game ever again. Its a disaster.
I just got back into playing thus game. Honestly you should do a update to your ranking list for this and see how you feel about the weapons now compared to years ago. I'd love to see way more bf1 in general

I very recently got my PC upgraded, not only to get better performance, but because I wanted to play games like Battlefield 1 again. I've had this itch for awhile to play it again, and finally started playing it again a few days ago. And dude, OMFG how i've missed this game soo much, holy shit. I don't even really care that i'm not at all used to playing BF1 on mouse and keyboard, I always played it on PS4 back in the day. I'm just having soo much fun taking in the gameplay, the atmosphere, the sounds. And the music is just chef's kiss. I'm not sure if this is by default or by chance, but every time the game boots up, it plays "Lacrimosa" from the Apocalypse DLC. Considering that was one of, if not my actual favourite pieces of music from the game, it's like the game is consciously reminding me why I love Battlefield 1 soo much and why it's one of my favourite games in general. This really was the last great Battlefield imo
picked up this game in 2020 over COVID and haven't dropped it sense! Truly one of EA's best battlefield titles when it comes to the feel of WW1 and the battles themselves

Definitely one of the best multiplayer experiences I've had, and one of my favorite games of all time. It's nice to see they introduced anti cheat, but I don't think I'm going to return to the game. It has a special place in my heart, but I've moved on. I don't want to taint my experience by trying to re live the last.
Been playing on and off. During the dark times there were (and still are) couple of clan servers with great moderation. Cheaters got kicked very fast. Other servers were a nightmare to play though.
you just can tell if this game came out now, in order to play it at 4k high settings 60 fps you'd need a 4090 and dlss quality. The fact that this 8 year old game is able to run at 4k on my 30 series graphics at stable 60 fps, while looking like a piece of art, is astounding. Nowadays you need a 4000$ pc setup to run games with all bells and whistles enabled
Unrelated but I love jumping out of a plane and pulling my chute just before the ground in this game. It just negates all damage without slowing you down
I bought it at release played 200 hours and moved on. Just got back into a few weeks ago and bought premium to get all the goodies. Feels bad letting it rot for so long but to be honest I quit fps games not just BF1. Feels good scraping off the rust and being a top scorer again. Been a part of the battlefield series since bf1942 demo was released.
Recently redownloaded BF1 on PC. I preordered for the PS4 back in the day but unfortunately it became overshadowed with COD (hate to say it). However I've been having such a blast playing it again - it's timeless! I'm not the most skilled player but I actually have fun, which is unfortunately rare to say these days about games
hardest achivement to get in BF1 nowadays is using every turning tides weapon since you have to do 20 flag capture using boats to unlock naval cutlass. and it's kinda hard to search a turning tides server.
They are all powers of two. 8v8, 16v16, 32v32 (64 players). I do remember Team Deathmatch that was 24v24, but that one one game mode on one of the BFs. I don't even remember. Maybe BF4
I'm so happy about this! I've been playing it again for past couple of months, and then I took short break again just to see that they added anti cheat and that everyone is talking about this now! I also have Battlefield 5, but I keep coming back to Battlefield 1 which is in my opinion, much better game! Maybe the best battlefield game out of them all
Just a quick ques for anyone reading this. I'm having a problem playing a controller. I mean the key bindings says (gamepad) but my PS4 joystick don't work ( only in this game) aaand yeah.. the joystick is empty when I do key bindings mapping it always sets wrong idk why
If you are on steam you can play around with the controller emulation thing it has, otherwise you can try ds4win. I wanted to use a ps4 controller for bf4 before steam had those features and I couldn't get it to work but I didn't care much so I gave up quickly, but good luck.

Unfortunately, the update hasn't stopped cheaters. Last week me and my friends had to deal with an invisible player with an lmg mowing down everyone with one hit kills. While they were outside the map..
I definitely think they could go 80-100 player count, I think the main issue 128 was a disaster is simply because it was with 2042 and it wouldn’t have been nearly as bad on other titles. That being said I still think 128 was too much regardless.
Strange, I've been playing BF1 on PC since it came out, and I've rarely encountered cheaters. Although I play almost exclusively on custom hosted servers with active admins.

I still try to play bf1 for a couple of hours a week on xbox. I miss all the hard-core and dlc servers but I will take what I can get.

Same for me. Even in BF V I didn't notice cheaters were a major problem before update. They usually farmed only on Operation Underground.

Recently redownloaded BF1 on PC. I preordered for the PS4 back in the day but unfortunately it became overshadowed with COD (hate to say it). However I've been having such a blast playing it again - it's timeless! I'm not the most skilled player but I actually have fun, which is unfortunately rare to say these days about games
hardest achivement to get in BF1 nowadays is using every turning tides weapon since you have to do 20 flag capture using boats to unlock naval cutlass. and it's kinda hard to search a turning tides server.

They are all powers of two. 8v8, 16v16, 32v32 (64 players). I do remember Team Deathmatch that was 24v24, but that one one game mode on one of the BFs. I don't even remember. Maybe BF4
I'm so happy about this! I've been playing it again for past couple of months, and then I took short break again just to see that they added anti cheat and that everyone is talking about this now! I also have Battlefield 5, but I keep coming back to Battlefield 1 which is in my opinion, much better game! Maybe the best battlefield game out of them all

Just a quick ques for anyone reading this. I'm having a problem playing a controller. I mean the key bindings says (gamepad) but my PS4 joystick don't work ( only in this game) aaand yeah.. the joystick is empty when I do key bindings mapping it always sets wrong idk why
All I'm saying is , is this game still support console playing?
If you are on steam you can play around with the controller emulation thing it has, otherwise you can try ds4win.
I wanted to use a ps4 controller for bf4 before steam had those features and I couldn't get it to work but I didn't care much so I gave up quickly, but good luck.

I was a beast in PS4 when I still had BF1 but I ended up selling it it has always been a great game since release!

Unfortunately, the update hasn't stopped cheaters. Last week me and my friends had to deal with an invisible player with an lmg mowing down everyone with one hit kills. While they were outside the map..
you should try 200% damage servers but no hardcore you can get mutch more frags and grind faster
they also revived the servers in australia, which was a nice touch.

I definitely think they could go 80-100 player count, I think the main issue 128 was a disaster is simply because it was with 2042 and it wouldn’t have been nearly as bad on other titles. That being said I still think 128 was too much regardless.
Strange, I've been playing BF1 on PC since it came out, and I've rarely encountered cheaters. Although I play almost exclusively on custom hosted servers with active admins.
@@seabasswallyworld same here. And if there are no admins, then just quit and join a new match, takes a couple of minutes. Servers are always full on PC, at least in Europe.
