Hi does this connect via wifi ? As I want to take it abroad so asking if I would need a home wifi ? Thanks

Hi there, thank you for your question. The base station can be connected via Wi-Fi or ethernet. I find that connecting via ethernet is a little more stable. The cameras connect via Wi-Fi to the base station. The whole system works on the 2.4 GHz Band. I hope this helps. Have a great day.
