    After being an induction hob refuser I finally took the plunge and purchased a portable induction hob for camping which is actually very good, it’s only about the size of a 15” laptop and I carry it in an old laptop bag. Having bought the Induction hob I needed some new pans to use with it and choose the Tefal Ingenio unlimited and I have been very impressed with the frying pans (not purchased any pots). I was slowly moving away from non stick pans but these have persuaded me to stick with them (pun intended) I have even bought some for our car camping trips where I use gas (and occasionally the induction hob) and they have performed very well as they do on our gas cooker at home.

    Very detailed well made video. Thank you! I'm not sure If I missed you mentioning it but did you face any connection issues? I'm really interested in getting it but there are many reports of software issues (Not being able to connect it to homekit, features not working, not being able to update the firmware, ...). I bought the Aqara presence sensor as soon as it came out last year and it was a horrible experience trying to get it to work (again software issues). I ended up returning it as even customer support could not fix it. I'm worried I will have the same "released early and not ready for public" experience again. I would get a smart lock from a different brand If I could but this is the only retrofit, UK compatible smart lock with Homekey.

      @@DrAhmedIdris hi and thank you for the kind comment! Honestly, I have had 1 issue with HomeKit but this was in very early testing and wasn’t available on kickstarter at that point. Since then, I have had no connection issues and the lock has performed better than expected. Most of the complaints about connection to HomeKit have been due to a lack of following instructions, for example, pressing the SET button after scanning the Matter code. I have had well over 10 videos sent to me where the individual are “proving” it doesn’t work and in every case, my question to them was “I didn’t see you press the SET button after scanning the Matter code during HomeKit setup, can you show me another video where you clearly press it?” I only had 2 people respond, one saying it worked, thanks, and the other I referred to customer service at Aqara because I think he was trying to get it into the home app with a very old Apple TV as a hub.

    Thanks for the great walk through. I have a question: You pull up the handle, because your door has a 3 point latch, right? Is the U200 then unable to turn the key unless the 3 point latch has been engaged, meaning that it ex. can't be remote locked, if you forgot to pull up the handle?

    • @andysreviewsandsmarthometips
      @andysreviewsandsmarthometips 4 дня назад

      @@Mathiaskindsholm this is correct for my particular type of door. If you have to lift the handle to engage the pins, then yes it would be unable to lock the door. Basically, you have to get into the habit of lifting the handle. However, you can set up a notification that will literally give you a time sensitive alert which means it is very prominent reminding you and you can choose to set this immediately, 1/ second, three seconds all the way up to 30 minutes. Effectively this means that it can potentially immediately alert you if you forget to lift the handle so this eliminates the worry.

      In fairness, I haven’t had to clean the phone yet at all, however I will be going home tomorrow so I will check for you and let you know

    Thank you Andy - I found that helpful. The same model as yours is being delivered tomorrow - exciting! There’s only 2 of us and I wasn’t sure which size model to order but went for the larger one as it gives more flexibility when cooking for the family. Hope you continue to be pleased with your air fryer.

      Question...do the holes in the lids (for the handles) cause problems with steam escaping when you need a complete seal?

      Thank you so much for your kind words 🥰 I hope you enjoy them if you do decide to get them. Have a great day 😊

      @@calhounmo the holes in the lid do not let any steam through at all when the little handles are screwed on. I don’t know how it is managed but it is very well constructed.

    Foes the handles get hot on lids or the handle?

      Hi, surprisingly no, neither the handle or the lid handle gets hot. They stay quite cool and manageable.

    This was in incredible and in-depth video. I appreciate your transparency, and as others have said, I wouldn't mind if you included your tics and thought it was a great video. Please keep posting :). Cheers!

      Thank you so much for those really kind words, I really do appreciate it. I will be making some more videos soon. At the moment I have been concentrating on doing a little project with Aqara. They have featured me in a couple of their videos, highlighting the benefits of a smart home for people with disabilities. I will be making more videos though rest assured and once again, thank you so much for your extremely kind words I really do appreciate it.

    It’s not so much what you cook, the know how to use the dials, are most important, mine came via a computer of 40 pages in which I have not bothered with, so my grand daughter has been showing me.. it’s a bit complicated, so now I’m giving her that one and I’m going now for the ninja

      Thank you for the kind comment, I’m glad you found the review useful. I have had it awhile now and it is definitely worth every single penny. Our electricity usage has gone down, the food is cooked nicely, and the amount of fat that sits in the bottom from cooking in this is amazing. Instead of you eating the fat that is in the food, you just wash it out of the trays when you’re done. Have a great Christmas!
