    Nice video. I really enjoy the last section filmed with the golden light from the sunset. All photographers look for that special moment. You can also take advantage of the low light that happens up to 30 minutes after the sun sets. Photographing and filming in complete darkness is not as good as when it is not completely dark. Guys, dusk is always better than dark.....

      Las 2!!! :) es dificil conseguir algunos ingredientes pero el peruano siempre se las ingenia. La cocina peruana se esta ganando su espacio aqui. Vivo en Rio desde 1998 y he visto como la ciudad a cambiado gastronomicamente, el carioca es medio conservador. Pero me enorgullese hacer parte del movimiento q le esta cambiando el paladar a la ciudad! :) Soy dueño de una cevicheria (Ceviche Rj) y comenzamos en las ferias de comida (2015) y hace 8 meses abrimos nuestro local! :) Si algun dia vienen por aqui tengo bastantes restaurantes de comida tradicional para recomendar!! My favorite dish actually is Rabada! cheers!!

    I also got my wisdom teeth removed as an adult, all four of them on a single sitting. I remember doing them on a Thursday, then take the Friday off work. It was a "Bloody Friday". Then, all the weekend eating soft food and cleaning my mouth with salty water after every meal. Also no drinking from straws (suction prevents proper healing).

    • @samuelandaudrey
      @samuelandaudrey  6 лет назад

      How long did it take for you to feel completely fine?

    • @AlexKasper
      @AlexKasper 6 лет назад

      I don't remember the exact number of days (the procedure was over 10 years ago), but I remember seeing my dentist like a couple of business days later for a check and he said I was healing very well. A few days later after my stitches were removed. I don't remember I had any problem. So perhaps a week or so until everything was fine, except for the space in the back of my mouth. The salty water rinses were in effect during all of these days.
      I remember I was prescribed some analgesics with opiates, a special version of Tylenol, if I remember correctly. I only took one pill, but after that only regular extra strength Tylenol, as I prefer to avoid any opiates and it was not really needed for my pain threshold. I'm an Advil guy for headaches, so it was a change :)
      I guess I was lucky. My friend got hers also removed as late teenager (early tweens?). Her problem was the cavity was not filling with tissue fast enough, and some clove oil (aceite de clavo de olor) was prescribed to prevent problems. She hate cloves now. :)

      Hi Abel, we also take gifts every time we visit and we've never had a problem. Maybe just remove the tags so it doesn't look like you're importing merchandise.

    Audrey: really enjoyed yr video. Glad u had a good time in Lima. And Sam is lucky to hv you. You are a very attractive girl, and i am sure when u r all made up, you could pass for a model.
    Sam: so you wont feel left out. You also are utterly cute, and hv a very engaging personality.
    Both of you are very well matched. And hope to see other videos of yr upcoming trips.
    Dentist was outrageously expensive. Mexico would hv been $20 usd. per tooth. I paid $300 per tooth here in S.F. i had my molars taken out a while back, and the pain was horrific. You really can hv open heart surgery, without pain. But anytime the teeth are concerned it is frightening.
    Best of luck to you both.!!!

    Hello!
    I have a quick question wondering if anyone can answer this for me... I am a US citizen with a sociology and criminology degree from California... my dad is Peruvian and I am in the process of obtaining citizenship from Peru. I have been there a few times and would really love to work and live in Lima for a year or so..are there any US companies based in Peru that I can apply to or that anyone can recommend ? I have applied to the US embassy in Peru and am waiting for an email back... thank you!

    I thought you had a good health service in Canada

    • @samuelandaudrey
      @samuelandaudrey  6 лет назад +1

      Yes, health care is amazing and free in Canada, but dental work can be a bit pricey depending on what you need done. Since there's great service in Lima for a fraction of the cost, I just decided to get it done there.

    • @caesaraltamiranor.7789

      We do have great health and is free, but dental work is expensive in Canada but cheaper in Peru and I'm going to Perú too.

    Hey guys Rick from Colorado here. I'm considering visiting Peru over Christmas for vacation and for dental work there. I have met and know Rob Lloyd from Little Corn. I follow both of your vlogs and love it! Do you know or can you help me find a very good and inexpensive dentist in Lima?
    My plan is also to visit Urubamba. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Happy travels......Rick
