  • The Quechua are indigenous people living in the highlands of Peru and neighbouring countries, far away from modern society. Follow along as they make the strenuous pilgrimage to the sanctuary of the Señor de Quyllurit'i.
The documentary series “Disappearing World” was originally broadcasted between 1970-1975. As an anthropological landmark of its time, the series tells the story of traditional communities endangered by the modern world’s progressions.
The series stands as a historical document of daily life in remote and threatened societies, such as the Cuiva, Embera and Panare Indians of Colombia, the nomadic Tuareg of the Sahara, the Kurdish Dervishes and the Meo of China.
TRACKS publishes unique, unexpected and untold stories from across the world every week.
    From "Disappearing World."

I am a mixed native and Spanish, In those times I thought this was just one more thing people from Cusco did, I took it for granted, never was interested in my own culture. I live abroad now and really miss all of the interesting festivities and activities that people from Peru still do. I do appreciate it more now. Incans without a doubt were the most advanced and organized indigenous civilization of them all; their culture in fact is so much progressive that it looks Foreign to me a native from the North American Plains. If they were allowed to develop along their own lines there is no doubt they would eventually be the largest influence on all of the Americas, setting the standard for the rest of the indigenous Americans.

    • @bjorn3923
      @bjorn3923 4 года назад +21

A couple misconceptions people have of the Incas is that they had no written language.. they did have written language they were able to record all of their leaders back to BC days... they also say the Incas did not develop the Wheel; they did this as well, however because their native lands are so variable and Rugged (with high altitude mountains and rainforests) they saw no need to develop the wheel further. Even today; traveling by land from one end of the empire to the other would be impossible because of the terrain. The roads today were developed along the Inca’s ancient trade highways.

Unfortunately and fortunately, you are wrong. The people native americans derived from were far more complex than what you understand. The southwest tribes understand this and maintained true teachings as the plains tribes enjoyed more of the spiritual aspect. Many indigenous cultures compose the identity of the north american tribes such as the lost 12 tribes. Artifacts proving this claim were destroyed by the smithsonian. The peruvians were a simplistic people allowed to exist in peace as their spiritual ancestors have existed on those lands for many thousands of years. Turtle island (north america) has been a product of war and spiritual conflict for thousands of years, absorbing the cultures of the most advanced civilizations to ever exist including lemurians and the illegal occupation by atlanteans. Both groups of a similar species of humanoid that still play power games acted out repeatedly in modern times as a result of time loops created by each civilization when emotions of a royal family caused them to divide. The masons hide this history on purpose to appear as the "winners" in the race of races but their claim is false and end times are showing their control is an illusion. They were meant to learn to respect God through their service to God but recreated past issues to manipulate and attempt to become their own God. A failed attempt as God is and owns everything. The Peruvians are protected as their ancestors were allowed to advance into the light at an earlier time in the history of God.

I've recently found something fascinating. There's an ethnic group in China, the Tu/Monguor (土族), whose traditional clothing looks very similar to that of the Quechua, especially their hats. I believe that, because they are of a Mongolic background, they have a genetic intimacy with the Quecha, since Native Americans' ancestors came from Asia (Particulalry people with Mongolic genetics). Although they each have their own cultures, it is this distant relationship that may be the reason to why their clothing is similar to one another.

Why wouldn't it be the other way around? That instead of the natives moving from Asia to americas why wouldn't it be americas to Asia.
One theory is 'culture' both mongols and natives have similar nomadic, cooperative, spiritual, non-market/money based society. Whereas China and India there was concept of richess acquiring for self. This was alien to mongols and natives (before they mixed)
All of americas had this concept from North to South. In Asia it was only the mongols and they were in the minority. That indicates influence from west to east.
      Not east to west.

Pangea broke apart about 174+ million years before anything which could be called a human walked the Earth. They look (slightly) Asian because their ancestors came from Asia and Siberia.

      @@athanasiusphilopatorismaxi389
"...why not settled in Alaska or today's canada like native canadians..." Where do you think the "native Canadians" came from? Some did stay in Alaska and Canada, but when others felt like moving on, they did. They moved on to become the 'native Americans', and every other group of people in the New World. The archaeology and genetic studies prove that humans migrated from Asia and Siberia, some time about 20,000 years or so ago. It's not really a scientific question up for debate any more, the evidence is there.
As for "...why moved all the way down to harsh conditions in the Andean...", because they wanted to. You see it as "harsh", but people obviously CAN live there...and do. Besides, there are far more harsh places (the arctic for one) where people are able to survive, and choose to live. They moved there because it was too crowded or too controlled where they had been living, and that was open territory when their ancestors arrived.
"...how could they cross Panama darien gap..." Boats. The earliest human sites in the New World are all along the coast line. Further, the dates of the earliest sites are before the ice-free time of the Bering Sea land bridge, similarly suggesting the first migrations were by boat, along the shoreline, where a lot of food resources are available. People only later moved inland to populate the interiors of N. and S. America. Besides, the Darien gap is not the be all-end all barrier it's made out to be. Not only have several groups of people driven it in a variety of Jeeps, Land Rovers and other autos, it's no where near impassible to foot traffic. There were civilizations in that area which built monumental structures, including platform mounds, plazas, paved roads, and stone sculptures. They got around in dugout canoes, made artifacts from jade, gold, and ceramics, and were flourishing until the arrival of the Europeans.

However, the unique history these people have, enduring the onslaught brought on by the Europeans (eather in the hands of Anglos or Hispanics) is their experience alone as people that inhabited the earth we now call, "The Americas". Near total annihilation of the native population took place in the Caribbeans, Argentina, California, northern Mexico...

Im learning as i go along bruh. American history was lied about among the Public through propoganda and socio engineering. There were so many battles on this soil its insane. Its been moors vs templars...aka indians vs cowboys...aka negroes vs wights in These lands for centuries. Ancient. The U.S was literally built on top of Amaruka during the "reconstruction period". This is Societas Republica ea al maurikanos. Amexum. Spain.Mexico.Morocco.Africa.Europe.Cannan.Mauritania.
Thats why it bothers me so much when i hear mexicans especially beefing with afro asiatic Americans who we misnomer as black. They are family. Foreigners drew a line in the sand, and like everything else, made a divide in order to seize goods and treasures.
The history and real story is so vast, i wouldnt know where to start.
-The decalogue found in ohio and nevada.
      - the inscription of Hano Bey the african phoenician found in Massachusetts.
-the ankh cross found toluco Mexico.
-the moors sundry act that forced moors to be called black and negro.
-the 1924 interacial act that turned indians into the term Negroe.
-the naga snake and its connections with Maya, china. India, Arabia,.
-the comment made by C.S Rufinesque about the people he encountered in the indigenious in Americas. ....
Go and look at the exotic map of the USA.
