I traveled the Sahara desert in my youth, and I have never seen such a beautiful place. At night the sky and the stars dominate The view. There are no clouds or pollution or artificial light, and when you walk around you feel like you’re “in“ the sky.The people I met were generous and welcoming. God bless those who suffer.

@@ethanbolen4425 lol, i was totally just jokin with ya, mate😉. But yeah, I’m not really sure what yer into. I think if I tried just randomly listing some, it’d be really hard to justify know what to include or leave out. Plus, I’m into alotta stuff I find challenging and perspective-expanding, but many people might find disturbing (i.e. with subject matter that could range from anything like the holocost or other war crimes, to the awful history of mental health care in the US. Anything. Endless facets of random, bizzare stuff I might find fascinating. If there’s a particular subject you’re interested, I might be able to suggest one (or some). I just rewatched a great documentary I saw years ago that’s mostly about suicide (in San Francisco) called “The Bridge.” Outstanding, but pretty dark & haunting. I dunno-a good upbeat one saw yesterday about Artificial Intelligence and the ancient board game GO was called “Alpha Go.” It was really incredible But I’ve seen hundreds, maybe thousands of you just count TV productions, in my life. So it’s kinda a hard question to answer that generally speaking. Like if you said you were interested in one on the Vietnam War, I could probably tell you a dozen really excellent ones. In order (The Fog of War and Ken Burns’ 10-part one being the best). But if you wanted one about the orgins of anime or something, I’d have no idea.
The best one I’ve seen in say, the last month: The People vs Whitey Bulger.

Regarding the African slave trade , white Europeans , Christians or not , were at the tail end of the slave trade story ( actually it's still going on today anyway , in a different form ) ..accounts say Arabs have always traded in humans , but it was also the white Europeans who made it "illegal " and "banned " it worldwide . but .of course , true Muslims only follow Sharia law don't they ?

well because it doesn't happen that often that they're actually visited. If there are any tourists, the tourists usually wanna see the places nearby and not them. But the documentary crew actually go to see them and talk to them, want to hear what they've got to say, show interest in them and their opinions, culture. For them it's like once in a lifetime event. Some might be camera shy and don't wanna be filmed but for other it's like you've shown them a lot of respect for actually caring about their lives and perspectives, so they definitely wanna show respect back to you... in many countries it's a shame to have a visitor and not offer something to drink, something to eat. In my culture it's a shame not to host your guest properly as well and I'm from a tiny country in the lesser known part of Europe. If I told my mom I had visitors and she'd ask me what did I give them to drink or eat and I would be like "oops I forgot" she would curse me out and be dissapointed with me :D

Peace, mercy and blessings of God Almighty This issue is a conspiracy on the part of the colonizer who does not want to leave Mauritania alone and always tries to differentiate between the people of the one country. Slavery is over and now it does not exist. The situation now is as follows: The group that was enslaved, of course, is now the poorest and the most ignorant, and this is normal. They were slaves and they had a lot to rise. Today a media war is being waged to tarnish the image of Mauritania, especially the white Arab element
The freedom fighter, Biram, who claims to defend human rights, why does he not talk about slavery in the Wolof, Soninke, and Polar society, Alesso Mauritanians, why does he focus only on whites? He moves from abroad to implement a foreign agenda I hope that anyone who has watched this impartial video knows that it does not convey our reality. The Mauritanians live in peace with each other and will remain so forever. I also ask you to delve into the research without prejudice or to make a prior decision. Look at the Arabic and French sources and everything will listen to the other opinion and opinion

When some tribes believe they're Superior to others and deny them education, freedom and basic amenities, civilization and development face a brick wall.

The translation is incomplete. The woman talking about "Leblough" at 19:44 never sais the word "attractive". She also clearly states that she is against it at 20:10 she sais "naaraf anna naaraf anna" which means "I know, I know" then she sais "anna diddaha" which means "I am against it". Why was this not included @tracks. Be careful of second hand information guys designed to skew your perspective.
