I heavily agree with Doug as I loath the Avatar franchise, but he misunderstands the Velma comparison. The comparisons came from both of them doing scenes depicting panic attacks, one clearly far better than the other, but also how one was something people clearly wanted to make and was way more adult than expected, and the other one that was a show "made for adults" was a childish pathetic insulting mess. It was more just people finding new ways to use Velma as a punching bag.
