I have work in the morning, but a story by the king of psychological horror always comes first, especially when he’s narrated by the king of creepy Pastas!
This was perfect for a rainy day and settling down in my new apartment with my pets. This makes me think of an old dog I had.... a Rat Terrier who passed away two years ago from kidney failure at age 14. R.I.P My little, big, courageous dog.
**Spoiler**. Thank you Mr. CP!! Wonderful read. SK has been my favorite writer for years. (The Stand, Talisman w/Peter Straub and It being among my favorites.) This was a neat little story. I tell you, if Laurie would have died, I'd have went straight to Maine and kicked me some King ass!
A "nice" story...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! This comment is gold! I enjoyed this story. It's one of King's more subtle works but I really liked the suspense, the descriptions and it had that usual tad of King humor and sarcasm that makes you chuckle in the middle of an otherwise boring or tense scene.
This is a great story and your narration was fantastic! It is interesting how each person deals with the loss of someone very special to them, discovering life again is so difficult, but it can be done. Thank you very much!
I cried the whole time I listened to this. It spoke to me on such a deep level. Loneliness and loss.......and what comes along unexpectedly to heal our hearts.
Wow... I could fall asleep to the soothing voice you have. You make it easy to be calm and not worry about anything but to listen to your story and I love that
Stephen King, the best writer (in my opinion), it's great to hear one of his stories in your voice. Please if you can read more of his work. I've been a King's fan since the 7th grade. I always hated to read back then until a friend were reading Misery. after reading just a few lines from the book I was hooked, thus prompting me to loving reading an starting collecting King's novels. I'm also a hugh fan of you MrCreepyPasta, I heard my very first creepy pasta here on your channel. Keep up the great work! I'm luvin it!
Okay this was awesome but WHEN are we gonna hear more from the Lonely Broadcast Station?? I just finished the series on nosleep and I’m DYING to hear it adapted!!
Mr.Stephen King and Mr.Creepypasta ❤️😍🤗 Life is beautiful. Thank you sir (my two favorite horror Masters in one place, someone catch me I'm gonna faint).
I've been waiting for someone to do a Stephen King narration, he's been my favorite author since I was a kid 😀😀😀😀, hope you're having a great Saturday night MrCreepyPasta and listeners
This was narrated beautifully! The story was really brought to life. I'd ne ver heard it before, but it was wonderful from the offset. For some reason I cried several times throughout! Thank you so much ❤️🥰
Stephen King is quite the literary genius, so any work of his you choose to narrate will always be appreciated. Because after listening to this story, one could easily tell you have the sense of adapting his writting style very well.
MrCreepyPasta you made my day. I'm a huge fan of Stephen King and in the process of reading Pet Sematary by Stephen King and a week ago got a new book by him The Outsider. Your an excellent narrator. You did an great job on this story!!!! Keep up the amazing work
...suuuuuuuch a great cmmnt 2 describe tonsa ppls completely wrng assumptions of ths mans wrk...seriously...u cnt no his genuis if u thnk he panders 2 mindles evil...its imitation at best if thts ur opinion...
Thanks for doing this. You were really good! I'm getting younger every day (ha-ha) and my eyes are going. I have been an avid reader my entire life. Listening to you I got my fix for tonight. 🤓
Loved this story and the way you told it. I absolutely love the way you do the old lady's voices. Made me laugh out loud a couple times at work. I felt like I could picture them. Anyway great job.
Having read tons and tons of Stephen King books, I honestly thought this was going to end with the main character discovering that Laurie's guts were falling out due to the alligator. I'm glad that didn't happen.
That was a great change of narrative, yet another great horror story with twinges of fantastic relationships. Keep it up the great voice Mrcreepypasta!!🤘🤘
My two favorites of horror blended together in such a heartwarming fashion. Hopefully we can get a full reading of Stephen King's "Desperation" by The Lord of Creepypastas himself.
@@lilrosebush desperation was one of my favorite reads. It's been a long while since I read it but I loved the author character and his dynamic change through the story
In case anyone didn't notice, when the narrator says "A pet is the worse gift someone could give you" it's a reference to King's "LT's Theory of Pets" from King's Everything's Eventual collection.
I absolutely adore listening to you ever since I first heard Tales from the gas station!! You do a female voice that is absolutely wonderful!! I laugh every time I think about Rosa! Thank you for all your great uploads. You were born to do this!! Love from Mississippi!!!
Hey +Mrcreepypasta hope you are doing well. I just wrote The Russian Sleep Experiment 3. I submitted it too StoriesFablesandGhostly tales. I just want to respectfully ask you if you would not mind narrating it. I am in no way Stephen King. Nor do I ever compare myself or want too be compared too such a magnificent author. I wouldnt want to dishonor any greats. I am just a man who loves writing horror.
Patrick McNamara hey man, keep it up. The only way to become a great writer is to write, and then open yourself up to (hopefully constructive) criticism. You are far braver than I. I’ll be looking for Russian Sleep Experiment 3
It’s so strange that I prefer your female voice way more than if you were to have a girl do the female parts. Maybe it’s because I’m so used to it or having the same person do all the voices keeps a steady rhythm during the parts that the dialogue jumps back and forth. Ether way, you’re the best voice actor I’ve ever heard
You can call the dog "Yanny;" that'd be fine, BUT... It's Joan Bye-EZZZ, young heathen. (Said with a grin, just for the record.) Otherwise, nicely done. Thank you.
@@Guinevere.625 Yeah, I noticed, and it make me feel like grabbing my cane, hobbling out onto my front porch, waving my fist, and shouting, "You darn kids, get off my lawn!" =)
Ah, Stephen King's "Laurie". Let's see how many commented "Yanny?"
*I hate the internet*
Um AKTCHYUALLY, it's Laurel.
But it's totally Yanny.
I hear Yanu
If I had a penny for every "Yanny/Laurel" meme, I would collect them all in a jar and drop it on my head.
Augmented Vision sounds about right mate....
I think you mean "yannel"

i love how this shows how much a dog can change someone's life completely. Great story, I needed this :)

Loving the combination of King's work and Mr. Creepypasta's voice!!!!!!
JustMonkia 1991 right?
Stephen King is hands down my favorite author of all time, has been since I was in the third grade. Thank you so much for narrating this
Joan Bye-EHZ, BTW. You have a superb grasp of the rhythm of King's writing. You're a perfect narrator for his work.

Leslie Jackson Right? I can't read watch or listen to anything with a dog dying. Sorry Cujo.
Dawn Stone me to
Yeah he can't make us fall in love with her from puppyhood then take her away!💜🙏🏾
The entire time i was waiting for something creepy to happen.
But this is just a nice story about an old man with a dog.
I'm only 14 minutes in and I really don't believe you
Yeah ikr? I thought something would happen but nothing really did happen
Sometime it’s a bullseye sometimes a complete miss probably why it didn’t go into print its free audiobook only prob why it’s not getting flagged

Is this about eustache accepting courage in his company?
I worked myself up thinking Laurie would be a goner or Lloyd.. I was so happy that they were okay that I cried anyway. Tears of joy. ❤
I can't believe that I'm just now hearing about Stephen King releasing a new short story and a novel!
I thought for a second this was written by David Fucking KingBut seriously Stephen King is awesome thanks for reading this MrCreepypasta
