SK is so deeply and sadly funny, I love his short pieces.
Great narration! Loved the added wind and such and how you chuckled at things funny.
Thank you!!
Another well crafted narration of a Steven King. novel. Anyone who has experienced driving across the prairies of the US or Canada in winter will recognize the description of the type of local our salesmen finds himself in. The dreary weather on the cusp of a maybe storm, can easily bring darker thoughts and feelings to the fore.
I liked the technical touch of adding the barely there and quite audible voices at an appropriate point in the story as it informed and completed the stories atmosphere.
It also showed Steven King's understanding that the vagaries of one's life, can be little things that are barely noticed or considered by most people. An element of chance, can change ones life trajectory from one of a certain finality, to a expansive new beginning.
Very nicely done Eric.
Thank you Jim! My gut instinct was "less is more" when it came to building atmosphere with this particular piece. Glad to hear it was a success!
Wonderful narration!! Thank you so much for being!
Nice narration of a typically brilliant SK short story 😊
Thank you!
wow this is incredible, i usually hate embellishments by readers in audio books but every single one of yours enhanced the story rather than distracted. This is so good. you clearly have an excellent understanding of this story.
Thank you so much, I appreciate that!!
Loved it.
Thank you so much!!
Please don’t give up on this channel.
More is coming soon, I promise! Working on a cross-seas collaboration for STS episode 100!
Nice touch adding the wind audio in the background.
Thanks Jason! That mental image of standing in the parking lot staring out across the field just called for the brisk bite and stark nothing of a winter wind
30:35 Famn Damily. Otherwise, really good.
I own all his books last couple ones. He keeps mentioning Trump in there. I am so sick of him and his Democratic Party.
👍 he’s an overrated douche
Then go read project 2025 if you want something scary to read.
I’ve read enough King, listened to him speak enough, and have known enough people like King to know there’s nothing ‘Democratic’ about him. It’s just some fake character he’s created probably as a personal joke.
Who have you known in your life who’s a horror and Rock music fanatic that cares anything about the ‘Democratic Party’s’ M.O.?
Greg Stillson?
Antagonist in The Dead Zone. Very prescient imo.
Don't look up here the joke's in your hand
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Well....that sucked. He doesn't know how to end stories.
