My dearest Lord “M” - we raise our glasses in praise of a most enjoyable and animated performance; champagne for all! You my friend are a national treasure! Cheers, julie
@@heatherheron-speirs8727 I qualified my praise with living since Jonathan Cecil and Jeremy Sinden are both sadly no longer with us. Wodehouse stories read by both of these actors can be found here on RUclips.
Yes, I assumed that is why you wrote the qualification, when I praised Nick's work above all. To me, he does not narrate - he acts, and does so many different characters so fully and aptly, it's mind blowing. But I am no expert commentator. This is just my view, after listening to others. They don't hold my attention because they come across as narrating/enhanced reading, by contrast.
Hey folks! How about buying Nick a coffee or two by way of thanks. We all know that he spoils us with these fabulous readings. Please put up that link, Nick, and pop it up every time you put up a new reading. Thanks!
As much as I so enjoy P.G. Wodehouse's offerings, I hv noticed that he uses "bought" ( from to buy) instead of "brought" (to bring), so often, I can only assume he didn't know the difference (unlikely) or that it is an established part of the vernacular, a fact I must hv missed, also unlikely!
Hey is your brother's website working? It looks like WONDERFUL, large merino wool throws!!! I definitely want at least 1, but I can't get the website to work. I click on a pic and it will come up but there's no "add to cart/basket" button. There's a "view shopping basket" but then it just shows zero and there's no "continue shopping" or anywhere that links things together. Help 🙏🏽💕
@@Trickynickymarts Thanks for the prompt reply. There is no friction in your voice or background hiss/ noise and just using that simple setup seems to have done wonders. Is this a studio room ? (guess not ?) Listen to (compare) Daniel Mark Brown who has published his own audio book // audible website // The Narrowboat Lad where you can listen to a free sample.
Wonderful present, so long awaited! THANK YOU!

Is any feeling in life as good as sitting down to hear Trickynicky's PGW tales with a tinkling glass of whisky and soda?

The best of any I've been able to find on the net, living or dead!

Anyone wishing to read stories aloud, should first listen to Nick Martin so as to see how it ought to be done.....

Semaglutide patent holders such as Ozempic Wegovy must now hand in their licences as Wilfred Mulliner has beat them to it😀
