these are the BEST interpretations of these stories. It is so hard to capture the lightness of Bertie, - the silliness combined with the erudite literary references, imperfectly imbibed, he has picked up from Jeeves and his upper class education, to which he has paid little attention. Beautifully done
Anyone who has Wodehouse stories interpreted by you to listen to can never despair, even in difficult times. How this guy could write! Every sentence a gem. And your performance is so perfect and so superbly enjoyable that I can listen to each story for multiple times. Are you a professional actor or just incredibly talented or both? Thank you so much for this invaluable gift to all Wodehouse fans out there ! !
Another one l can’t remember reading. P. G. Wodehouse ‘s writing is superb and your delivery is perfect. Thanks again for putting in the effort to brighten our day.
i love all your readings of the jeeves short stories! they're the perfect length for listening to while i'm on a walk, and the voice you do for Bertie is just the right amount of silly. it brings a smile to my face every time
Your voice is so similar to Stephen Fry, it took a long time for me to realize that this is not Stephen Fry. I eventually had to look to see what the owner of the voice looked like. Fantastic personification of Wooster, best I have ever heard. Altogether, all voices are successfully rendered - quite a feat! Love the outrage you have achieved in Bertie's voice!
Bravo, quite entertaining as always, I’m giving you a standing ovation if you can’t tell. Thank you for the pleasure and joy that you bring us. We always look foreword to your next story. I am remiss in thanking you for the last one but I will try to make amends somehow. Cheers

Word of the day, excrescence. "I'm not going to spend my time taking turns as a nursemaid to this excrescence." Oh, that line gave me a laugh, Mr. Martin. Thank you for another great read!
I wish I was one of the young masters friends. He seems like such a great person. 🥰 We all should try a be more like young Wooster. He gets himself into crazy situations for his people and I love it.
Nick Martin, I did not think anyone could impart Plum's intentions so plausibly, let alone an unknown, though I suspect not for much longer, actor. How can we keep tabs on your next performance 😂?
Thank you Frank and glad you enjoy his stories here. If you just hit my picture, then the subscribe button and the bell next to it, you should get a notification of the next one when it arrives. There are many already on my channel in the playlists. Cheers.
My nit-picking apart, I enjoy PGW so much I'm not about to quibble w/myself. OMG! The pandemic has gone on too long and I've listened to so much wonderful PGW I now presume to criticize😀😃😄😁😆😅!
As a Kiwi Colonial I remember being taught the difference between "bought" and "brought". It seems this common-usage error produces no problem for PGW: or could it be a misreading? Of course I am nit-picking as I find these stories are a delight and full of wistful laughter for a Britain long-gone.
I have no doubt that it will most certainly be a reading error. I may listen again sometime and it will now jump out at me! Pleased you enjoy them despite the nits!
Hello. Are you the man who does fireside readings? You sound identical. The very light and airy accent is soft on the ear. Anyway 💕 These are delightful stories. Your vocal tang is bang on. 🐧 m
It would be a 12yr sentence for the parents of Tootles, for child endangerment and child neglect. What the story read, to me in 2021, would now lead to 5 or 6 felony charges in the state of Illinois. . . . And then, after the state charges are done 👮 They'll turn dcfs on the parents. Yep 🍕 Praise God and pass the pizza. 😀
Love these stories.

@@bvo1963 thanks and pleased you like it all. Not an actor pro or am!
I love the contrast between Bertie and Jeeves' voices. So well done! And "Dada doesn't woo love mummy no more" was hilarious.

No, must be a different person! I shall look him up and have a listen.
Did Bertie ever outwardly say who his bestie, is?
Are Bertie and Jeeves actual friends? Or is the kinship that of merely employee v employer?
Is it not possible to be both?

“Right from the first day he came to me, I have looked on him as a sort of guide, philosopher, and friend”.

Cheers. Thanks for suggestion but probably a bit long for me and others do it so well!
