Hello to you from Alberta, Canada, just a bit north of you. Chilly here, too. Cuddled with my dog, candles lit… If you’re a nurse, you’re a hero. Enjoy your evenings!
13:54:00 My old eyes tire easily to the point I can't read more than a few minutes at a time and don't even watch TV much anymore. It's such a delight to find this collection of wonderful stories well-read. On a cold, dreary day I can make a pot of tea, sit back with a cat on my lap and just listen. Bliss! Thank you for this joy.
Christmas and listening to this at 2 am. Got a call at 6:30 pm Christmas Eve while I was prepping for Christmas brunch that a family member had been injured and needed me to take him to the hospital. 7 hours later he’s home again and now so am I. It’s amazing all the doctors, nurses, orderlies, pharmacists and others all there on Christmas Eve. All cared for my relative with not only professional expertise but also cheer and humor. Our plans will all have to be postponed while he heals but I’m just grateful to be home, safe, and enjoying this lovely fireside library and your delightful voice reading these spooky stories. Thank you and Merry Christmas. ❤
Delicious!! A perfect way to pass New Year's Eve, settled in with the dogs, a good bottle of wine, the lights down low. Every now and again we get a gust of windy rain to remind us how lucky we are to be inside and listening to beautifully-read ghost stories. Thank you so much.
My Fathers Aunt, was named Rosamond , she lived from 1870 to 1970, out lived everyone she loved, children, Grandchildren, a few Great Grandchildren, lost her husband at 50. Who would want to live, this long after your loved ones, are gone? She was 6' tall, and a very sturdy woman, a descendant, of three Pilgrims, and they never gave up, so I think what many older Yankees thought that way. I enjoy your voice and lovely stories❤😊
Funny, it's a rainy and very cold winter night where I live. I'm inside nice and warm all cuddled up in my bed under very warm and fuzzy blankets. I'm about to listen to this ghost story for the first time.
Listening to these on a dark and rainy night in Istanbul, sent it to my sister in California. Thank you for your wonderful choices and narration. We read, we appreciate it!
Great stories and narration! I love the background video! I need that study, and I will have one when I retire. I love the wind in the background. Thanks!
Put this on Christmas Eve as I went to bed. Fell asleep almost immediately but woke up about an hour later just as The Open Door began. I lay there in the cold dark from about 11:30 Xmas Eve until about 12:30 Xmas morning to listen to the entire thing before dozing off again. It was fantastic.
Ah, Tony! I've been in love with your voice since I first heard you read. Tonight, hearing Madam Crowly's Ghost, I shut my eyes and listened with pure delight. When the time comes and I am in my last days, my Final Directives document will tell my caretakers to fit me out with ear-buds and play your recordings (especially the ones with the Scots accent) to keep me company until the veil lifts and I cross to the other side. I can't think of a better way to go. 🥰
What an amazing collection. The Madam Crowls Ghost is a delight of narration. I had to listen a half dozen times just to get it all, fully amused for every minute.
I absolutely loved The Open Door absolutely fantastic. The phantom coach was a brilliant story too. Thank you so much for entertaining me whilst I feel poorly and seeing tiny Christmas cards for my grandchildren. Super entertainment. Bloody brilliant.
Listening to this while recovering from surgery. Your narration and choice of material is really helping me get through this tough time. I'm looking forward to more of your original writing, too.
What a fabulous narrator. I guess i now know when people say, " I can listen to them read a telephone book." 😂Love this channel, love, and appreciate the narration ❤🙌👏👏👏
The plants around the fireplace appear to be doing suspiciously well.Almost like you installed central heating and air conditioning, and the fireplace is just for atmosphere...
Madam Crowl’s Ghost. I have not heard a similar accent since the 1960s. My grandmother's neighbour, Mr King a Lancashire man in his 80's so must have been born in the 1870s. Outstanding work.
I recently found this Podcast / youtube channel. Wow, Wonderful.. so happy to find like minded, interests in entertainment. Great job with your story telling. SUB'd, LIKED AND SO HAPPY TO SHARE AND TELL OTHERS!!!
Thank you for this, I’m snuggled up on my divan with a hot chocolate and Satan, my late Doberman, he tragically died 15 years ago when he choked on a chihuahua, we had him preserved by a gifted local amateur taxidermist, apart from the odd bit of wire sticking out here and there it’s almost as if he’s still here with me and my late husband. - as my granddad used to say, it’s not the living you should be afraid of , it’s the dead! - or something like that.
Dear Tony, I'm feeling bad because O haven't had time to comment on some of your postings, but rest assured that I appreciate every one. (At least you have been spared my terrible sense of humour.) Hope all is well with you and yours.

You must have read my mind, Tony. I have been hankering for a new compilation. It's a sunny California afternoon, but I can't wait for nighttime.❤
Thank you very much...great to listen too while hand stitching new Christmas cat nip toys for my kitties. 😊 😽🐾🐁
I love these stories. I'm listening tonight and it's very late 2am. This should get me through until the dawn.
