I love when King reads his own words. I'm in my 40's and whenever I hear one of these gems I still feel like I'm his kid and he's tucked me into bed, telling me a story that he's making up on the spot. Best storyteller in all history!!!
@@thejword I can't be sure, but you can check his interview videos or that video where he read his latest books, If It Bleeds. His voice is quite recognizable.
@@thejword I'm a huge SK fan & my favorites are the ones he narrates, & that's really him!! 🥰 Eta: My favorite is Needful Things, Lt's Theory of Pets & he did a couple in The Dark Tower series ((I'm too tired to go look up which ones for sure 😪💤)) Give them a listen, you won't be disappointed!! 😃
Cannot wait for more! I'm 60 almost 61 and have loved the books from SK since I was a Freshman in HighSchool. I think that's when I read Carrie....not quite 15 years old. He has brought me SO much joy as a faithful reader AND buyer of his books. It will probably be the only thing my children keep when I pass away. None of them are sentimental....but they love to read.
This makes me teary. King and I are the same age. We had our kids the same years. I got so mad at him over Cujo I wrote him a letter. Now we are old. And, I’m like Lloyd.
Awe that was sweet. I didn't know he wrote books like this. I was waiting for his wife's spirit to come in the dog and get him for murdering her or something lol I never expected this. Did he write more like this?
This isn’t the entire story. Near the end there is a very violent alligator attack. If you have a chance listen/read the entire short story. Plus yeah, Stephen King on occasion does write stories like this… The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, Stand By Me, etc.
I've read everything he's ever published. I love him. His narration, tho, is SO GRATING.🥶🙄🤯 THG GUNSLINGER PART 4.5= one of his all-time GREATEST, but only the book. NOT the audiobook, which he narrates.
Loved his JFK book but LHO didn’t kill Kennedy 7 CIA remembers (Leonardo Dicarprios dada was one of them involved did . I lived at 5822 Worth Street in East Dallas Texas ( 1 mile from Dely Plaza.) The kill shot came from the sewer. Once the man with the black umbrella dropped it a foot he was shot for the final time. Oswald did kill a police man because he thought JT Tipit (the Dallas police was one of them). He was a patsy. I also visited Oak Hill were Oswald lived. He didn’t kill Kennedy. The CIA killed him due to the bay of pigs and feared a nuclear war. His brother and Martin Luther King were killed by JEHoover. I’m 100% positive on this but the truth will never come out. I now live in South America so I can now safely tell people these things

I listened to an audiobook on RUclips called Freakuencies by Gregory Patrick Travers that reminded me of Stephen King and now I'm here being nostalgic
Nice voice Stephen!
Oh wow, that's actually Stephen King's voice
How do you know? I looked in the description but it does not say anything about the narrator. Thanks

Love how his characters are getting older as King himself gets older.
But it’s a jab to the ego when he calls his character old … and u wait to see if ur younger or older than SK’s “old” character.

Such an adorable story!

I love these shows is there any more scarey stories.

as a fellow Mainer? I approve of this Audiobook.{And the reader}
I am as, well. I once met him. But he was too busy to meet me!!! That's, OK. He is a wild man. Never stops!
Thanks Stephen that was realy special, I've been a fan for years.
Thank you Mr. King
Nice audiobooks when you narrate of course
He will never read this
What the hell do you mean "to be continued "?
Type in "Laurie" by Stephen King part 2. Hope that helps.
Is there more?
Thanks for the book
