I have a 3 quart Instant Pot for the RV and it makes the BEST and easiest peeling eggs! Of course it is so great for lots of other things but the eggs are the greatest!

I don't know why some folks think if you are having problems with the truck, you need to go out and get a new one. My Father always believed that if you take care of it, it will take care of you. Your salsa/tomato salad looked delicious as did the rest of the table with the BBQ, sausages, deviled eggs! Happy Birthday Dana!

My hubby wants Scott to know that your diesel truck is a well built strong rig. Ours is a 2005 and we have been told with the proper care it should run forever. We're in the process of looking for a truck camper now. Just gotta find one that we really like and is affordable
it doesnt make sense to me why you would cook , a big meal in a camper, when you have a house to cook in, unless someone is renting your house.

She's not old she is well broke in. I have a 92 truck camper that sits on a 98 GMC with 245,000 miles on her and she runs like a clock. I wouldn't trade for the world. I take care of her and she takes care of me.

Teri, regarding boiled eggs: I finally learned a way that works better than any I previously used. Place eggs in pan and cover with water. Bring to boil and boil for 10 minutes. Remove eggs from heat and cover. Let sit for 1/2 hour, then peel. Works great. Looks like Dana’s method will work great, too! Good to see all of you together. Good luck with the truck! If you ever go back thru Buena Vista,Colorado and stay at Clear Creek Reservoir. Go up the dirt road about 1 to 2 miles, about 1/2 hr before dark.There is a big ranch on the left with open fields, park on the side of the road and watch the Elk come down out of the mountains to eat in the fields. There is about 50 elk that will come down. What ever you do, don't walk down the hill. The ranch owns the land and does not want anyone on their land. A couple more miles up the road is a ghost town on the right. ( this town is kept up ) There is parking and you can walk around and look in the windows. Love your videos, you and Scott are so nice and funny.
After trying all the same things you're doing with hardball eggs. I found this one to be the best. Works everytime with peeling hard boiled eggs. Place eggs gently in boiling water for 14 minutes then run under cold water for a couple minutes then add ice and soak about 10-15 minutes, peel shells.
I have definitely saved your mushroom🍄 and shrimp🍤 recipe 😋 simply amazing I could smell it thru my phone😁 the salsa is one of my favorites and you can never use enough celantro!!!👍

I had to laugh about your cutting the jalapeno. We grows scores of them, and I eat them like a radish or apple. Just bit them and eat them. But if you have a sensitivity I can see the gloves and paper towel. Just teasing~ Love the camping group! Friends are precious!
Re the eggs....you have to try this! After 40+ years of trying every method I came across to get easy to peel boiled eggs, I finally found the one that works every.single.time! Bring the water to a boil first, then add the eggs and bring them back up to a simmer...turn down the heat to keep them gently simmering for 15 to 20 minutes. Then remove to a cold/ice bath and the easiest peeling ever! I found this method a couple of years ago and have yet to have an egg that didn’t peel perfectly and with ease 😊
P.S. Forgot to add....just love how you are all such a happy group together. Such fun! And nice work on your videos 😊
Lori Gunter I use the same method, but only boil for 10 minutes after the water returns to a boil. Best method I've found. You're the only other person I know of that does it this way.
Same here, I use a slotted spoon to lower them into boiling water. Set timer for 15 minutes, drain and run under cold water. Perfect every time.

The way I have learned to boil eggs is start in cold water with lots of salt for easy peeling. Bring water to a boil, then turn off and cover, and let sit for 15 mins. Rinse with cold water. They are perfect, and peel easily every time. Safe travels. Love you guys :)

I crave humor (non-destructive) to the point where if i don't see or hear something funny by the end of the day- i look in the mirror and laugh or smile. I like my reaction! Haha!😍 as i make 'myself' happy and content with life! It also makes me happy to see other people happy.

I love your videos and I'm a subscriber. My husband and I also have a home base (in California) and we travel in our Class C motorhome, but not full time since we have a growing grandson who is now 4 years old! Anyway, my secret to perfectly cooked eggs is steaming them in an Instant pot--hard boiled takes 5 minutes!! They cook perfect and peel easy too!

Couldn't sleep so I watched this. Now I'm hungry, feel like cooking and more importantly feel like hitting the road again!
Eggs are harder to peel when they are fresh. If you buy eggs a week before boiling them they peel easier. I also start eggs in cold water, bring to boil for a couple minutes, then turn off the heat and let the water cool completely before removing the eggs and peeling.

I no longer have any trouble pealing hard boiled eggs since I started using RV geeks method. Bring the water up to a rolling boil. Then carefully put the eggs directly from fridge into boiling water with a slotted spoon. When the water comes back to a boil set the timer for 13 min. Once 13 min is up poor off the boiling water. Rinse with cold water then cover the eggs with ice and cold water and allow them to cool down ensure to replenish ice to keep water cold. You’ll never have a problem peeling the eggs and you’ll never have grey yokes.
I've been told that it's not the seeds it's the membrane where the heat is, I've not had problems with the seeds but always that membrane. Now a few months ago I got some habanero juice on my fingers and washed my hands and later in the day touched my eye lid and it was instant pain. The best way to cut up hot peppers is to have someone else do it for you!

I use a spoon to peel the eggs. Lightly crack the shell and then slide the spoon under the shell and run the spoon around the egg. The shell will slide right off of the egg, usually in one or two pieces.
I also run cold water over the eggs immediately after they are finished cooking.
One SHARP knife is better than a dozen unused tools!
