You're absolutely right about running behind or late in the evenings and the fastest thing to do is eat junk.....who wants to eat junk when with just a little prep you had a fantastic, healthy meal. If you two ever stop travelling you need to open a restaurant that features your home cooked creations 💚

Nice hello video. I love fried cabbage.. start in water then finish with a little dab of butter. You can add a little bits if thin sliced onion when frying.. It makes a great sub for stir fry instead of noodles to cut back starches..

Teri, I loved it when Scott said," I'm so lucky to have you for a wife." I always said, " food was though a man's heart." I always enjoy cooking for my husband when he's around. He's working in Virginia, but will be here in Arkansas on the 12th. Im going to make your meat ball recipe, and if I can find some spaghetti squash I'll cook that, if zucchini squash will be fine. Glad everyone made it through the wash. Y'all have fun! ❤💕

Yes Teri. The more colorful a veg or fruit is the more vitamins and nutrition they have.
I don't ever measure when I cook either. I think when we have cooked for our families for over 30 years we just know by eyeballing our ingredients. However I have been teaching the girls to cook so I have been putting the ingredients into measuring cups just to show them how much it is they get so tickled because I am usually really close to what I say it is. Dinner looks great and I love purple cabbage.
The part you pop off cauliflower (greens stem) I wash and use in stir fry, and mixes of fresh cucumbers,unions,tomatoes ,broccoli(same with its stems) ,ect choppered fine for my fast foods even make tortillas wraps and anyone i know has tried it they like it a lot just make sure chop them fine..good vitamin's less trash..just sharing understand if not for ya..

Be careful Teri there is a lot of rules! I saw that one lady was very unhappy and another one got yelled at and left for the hills. On a good note that dinner looked delicious. You were making Scotti squirm...I think that I saw him drooling a little waiting for you to say “ok let’s eat!” I know that you are reading this Scotti 😜 am I right?

Teri, I love to watch you cook. You measure things out like my mother and grand-ma always did. It was always delicious too. I started salivating when you started scraping the liquid goodness from that fry pan. I could almost smell it like I had smell-a-vision in front of me. Teri likes to cook and Scotty likes to eat. It must be a match made in Heaven. :-)

At the risk of being labeled a troll... meatballs dont have sides unless they are meat squares. 🤪 Scott is blessed to have home cooking!
I don't measure much either, but I am not a Teri but a Renee. lol. When I make Taco salad, Taco soup and any other kind of homemade soup. I don't know how to make it small. Also make enough for an Army. So it will come in handy when I get on the road this year. I'll make sure I bring one of my big tupperware bowls to accommodate the taco salad.

The meatballs look wonderful. I am on the low carb diet and I never thought to use those crisps, great idea. I love the green onions too and try to use them more often.
