First time trying dip at home. I ordered one of these kits however I noticed it didn’t come with a clear dip and some tutorials say you should put a clear on top of the colors, is that needed? Also, some of my nails came out lumpy even after filing, could it have been something I did?

I personally put clear on everything just in case so I don’t file through the color. It’s definitely a must for glitters because they can turn silver if you buff them. As for the lumps, it can be from having too much product on the brush and then dipping into the jar.
