Honestly…. This was a great tutorial!! I have done dip nails before and was terrible at it but now I’ve seen all the ways that I went wrong. I just bought some because of you and now I’m going to try it out :-) thank you
Really wish I watched this BEFORE I tried to do it myself for the first time. My fingers are a messss and I have a date… 😂 Guess I’m going back to the salon to fix this. Hahah. How do you get it off??
Hola me encanto , quiero saber si así exactamente cómo se ve aquí es cómo se hace ? No se usa lámpara ? Y si es lo mismo que usar cualquier acrílico o esos son especiales para eso ?
Just for clarification, in between each layer of dip (the color coats) the clear one she used each time she applied the color, was that the base or the activator? like in 2:35, thanks!!!
That’s the base. When you are done adding the color completely then you do the activator ❤️ then after activator and you have filed and buffed then you use the top coat ❤️
Hi! Your tutorial is so helpful! LOVE this color combo. I just got this set myself. Could you tell me the color number you used so I can recreate the look? Thx 😊
I just bought it and this was the most helpful video honestly … my only thing it’s that I rather use my shellac gel top coat and use the Uc Ligth cause this top cost takes too much time to dry. I was wondering what do you use to remove the dip powder .?
Thank you for saying my video was helpful, that means a lot. I use 100% acetone to remove. There’s a method that I like where you pour some acetone along with a cotton ball or paper towel in a ziplock bag, then place the bag into a bowl of warm water and let your nails soak in the acetone. The heat from the warm water helps to speed up the removal process.
I think two weeks is a about as long as the dips will last and that’s mainly because of the visible nail growth and they lose some shine after about two weeks.
When you say "coat" is it the steps on the bottles they come with... bottle 1, bottle 2 bottle 3 and 4? Or are you using one of them over and over? It's my first time trying this set
How have you found the longevity of this product? I've done about five manicures and watched tons of videos to improve my technique and they still chip and crack after a few days! The longest It lasted was one week!
It’s been a while since I’ve worn a dip mani but from what I remember they lasted a week or two. I think if it comes out thicker they chip easier. So I would file down quite a bit.
Hi BeaUtiful! It’s SO wonderful to see you back! I really appreciate this video/tutorial from you! This was so relaxing to watch, and it really helped! I was just sent some dips to try out (pr), but they said I can take my time since at that time my middle nail which was really long (for me) ended up tearing. My biggest fear is the removal process!😑 Did you use a peel off bc, or file off the top layer, and soak off the rest with acetone? The colors- BOTH mani’s you did were so pretty, and perfectly applied- as always!❤️ We MUST catch up! I know I’m the one that needs to get back with you!🙈 I’m so sorry about that! Things have been overwhelming crazy lately!🤪🤨 No matter when we catch up, always know that you (the whole beaut fam, too!) are thought of constantly, and are always in my heart!💓 I Love Y❤️U, Sweet Sis!😘💞🤗💐🌈🌿🌻🙌🤍💕 P.S. ~ Happy St. Patrick’s Day!☘️🥰
Hi beautiful lady!! So good to hear from you! For these I used the peel off base coat but they came right off the next morning 🥺. I usually use the soak off in acetone method. I have tried just applying the peel-off base to most of my nail but not the edges, but then when I removed there was some damage to my nails. So I would suggest using a peel base for swatching and soak to remove if you plan on wearing them a while. I hope to film a tutorial style video soon! Love you too doll! Just reach out when you can. Have fun with your new dip powders!! What brand are you trying? Please tell me how you like them. 💜🥰💐
This video was so helpful! I have a question though. I just got the Azure beginners kit and I follow the instructions to a T, but after I do the activator then file them down, some of the nails won't let the top coat dry while others dry perfectly and glossy. And then others will dry and its super tiny little bumps. Am I doing something wrong or is it the kit? I do each nail exactly the same per instructions
From what I remember they do have a strong smell. I always wear a mask and ventilate the room I’m in when doing a dip manicure no matter which brand I use.
looking into getting a dip kit and came across your video... did these last you a decent amount of time?? there is just so many to choose from on amazon lol
Hi! I usually wear a dip manicure for about a week but I think they could easily last longer. I change mine when I start to have nail growth or just want a new color, lol. This kit is like a sample kit, the sizes are mini. You could still get many, many manicures from this set and there are so many colors combo possibilities. I really like Revel, I got a starter kit there and it was my first. They have fair prices and a nice rewards point system. I can give you my referral link, it saves you 10% and I’ll receive points, if you’re interested! prz.io/8l5v1Kzsn Good luck! Dip powder is fun, I think! ☺️
Aw hi sweet friend! I am doing really well, thank you! My baby boy just turned one yesterday 🥰. How are you and your family doing?! It’s so good to hear from you!! Yes, dip nails are fun. I just got a new order in from Revel, lol. I plan to film a how-to type video once I feel more experienced and have some tips to share.
Would love to hear you talk about it while you were doing .. I left around minute 4-6. Looks like great video for people who are experienced and want music though.
I've used Nailboo in the past and the top coat is super shiny. This is my second time using Azure and I'm still having issues with the top coat. It's like the top coat is just sinking into the nail and has a dull partially shiny look.
I got my kit for $5 at a Black Friday deals store and thought I would come to RUclips University for a tutorial. Thank you 😊
Honestly…. This was a great tutorial!! I have done dip nails before and was terrible at it but now I’ve seen all the ways that I went wrong. I just bought some because of you and now I’m going to try it out :-) thank you
That makes me happy to hear that my video helped! 🥰
Super helpful! I did my daughter's nails using this tutorial, and they came out great!
Really wish I watched this BEFORE I tried to do it myself for the first time. My fingers are a messss and I have a date… 😂 Guess I’m going back to the salon to fix this. Hahah. How do you get it off??
Lol. Same
Just put acetone on a cotton and cover with foil. They come off super easy 😊
@ivon how long do you leave them with foil? Doesn’t skin get damaged with the acetone on cotton ball?
I like the coffee filter around the powder container. I just got a kit and this made it look less difficult than I was anticipating.
It’s a cupcake liner, but yes, helps keep the table less messy and less waste! Lol
Looks great. I’m getting ready to try this.
This was oddly calming…beautiful nails ❤️
Tysm! 💛
This looks easy. Thanks. I just bought all my stuff. I hope I can do mine like that. 🤞💅💕
Hope you had fun and liked the outcome of your dip mani! Filing/buffing helps out so much.
@@RikkisNails how do you remove it?
Just got mine and came to RUclips to Lear how to use it. Thank you for the tutorial
Amazing 👏 you made it look so easy! I will try it ASAP. THANKS for the wonderful video 😊
Thank you for such a helpful tutorial! I got an azure kit today and tried it. Can’t wait to redo it after watching this.
Nice video. Thank you. How do you remove it and can I do only 2 power ??
Thanks for this tutorial ❤
What is the "Brush Saver" for? And when should be used? I'm a beginner😢 thank you!
Thank you so much watching you helped me a lot
Great tutorial! Thank you!
I just got my kit in today. Thanks for the video!! I can’t wait to try mine.

Thnak you
I love the tutorial. Thank you.
You do such a beautiful job! I aspire to this!
TY! 💜
This video was so very helpful! Thank you!
I absolutely *love* the glitter!
Me too! I was so happy to see two glitters in the kit. 😊
How long do your dips usually last on your nails? I have read reviews that this brand doesn't last long, about a week or less
Hi! Your tutorial is so helpful! LOVE this color combo. I just got this set myself. Could you tell me the color number you used so I can recreate the look? Thx 😊

I just got a kit different colors this is a great tutorial! Can you tell me how long is the wear time on these dips?
I think two weeks is a about as long as the dips will last and that’s mainly because of the visible nail growth and they lose some shine after about two weeks.
On the instructions, it says you have to file nails to remove the shine. Did you that prior to recording or do you not recommend it ?
Great tutorial
Ayuda tengo ese kit pero se m acabó los liquidos como puedo usar los polvos
Love this tutorial! I have been thinking about trying my own dip nails! How long does it take them to dry? I am so used to my gels!
They dry in a minute or two, pretty quick!
Which bottle are u using first to dip
This set is cute!!
Does this Gel Top coat need to be UV-cured? Or air only? Please and thank you!
Air dry only! ☺️
When you say "coat" is it the steps on the bottles they come with... bottle 1, bottle 2 bottle 3 and 4? Or are you using one of them over and over? It's my first time trying this set
She’s using it over and over, bottle two you use multiple times while you build up the thickness
Do you have to let it dry a certain amount of time between each nail?
for the top coat do you let it air dry or do you cure it with a uv light?
Air dry, and it’s pretty quick!
I JUST received this kit in the mail . I'm new to dip. I do my own gel nails .
Do u know how long the nails stays on?
@juliealmendarez796 , a good two weeks .
How have you found the longevity of this product? I've done about five manicures and watched tons of videos to improve my technique and they still chip and crack after a few days! The longest It lasted was one week!

do u cure the too coats under uv lamp? how does it dry?
Nope! The top coat dries in a minute or two without a lamp.
I recently purchased one of these kits and the colors we not close to what was advertised. Has anyone had a similar issues or one they recommend?
What do you mean first Coat second coat you talking about the base.

Excellent tutorial
Loved this! How did you achieve the matte look?
I didn’t add the top coat 😉
I just bought this kit and am not able to get a good gloss on the gel top step 3. It’s just not shinny at all. Any reason why??
How did you get the color swatches!
I swatched every color on a swatch stick.
Very precise..
The Chong chaa chuung aren't gonna get my 50$ soon
So beautiful. I like this style. I recently ordered this kit but i am thinking to apply bond before putting the base..what do you think?
Do we use the 4th step?

After filing apply activator again. I had the same problem but going in again with activator a second time right before top coat fixed this
How does one use 4 BRUSH SAVER ??
This is the one I have 😁
Se puede hacer con tip? Y cuanto dirán ese tipo de uñas
I did a dip set and it hasn’t dried, can anyone help
The description of this kit says the liquids have low/no fumes. What was your experience?
From what I remember they do have a strong smell. I always wear a mask and ventilate the room I’m in when doing a dip manicure no matter which brand I use.
@@RikkisNails Thank you. I suspected that was the case. You can't really do much to tone them down no matter the brand claim. 🤗

Do you know what the #4 brush saver is for? Thanks! Great job!
Id like to know also
Sometimes the brushes can harden due to application. The brush saver kinda helps to reverse this so that you can continue to use the brush.
