Sinead, that was a fascinating tour. I have difficulty walking due to MS, it was like I was walking with you! Never thought I would spend my morning exploring a cemetery, but it was so interesting, loved it!
I agree, Sylvia. I have arthritis in my feet and ankles and cannot walk anywhere. This is so wonderful seeing these things. I am from America. I find all British history amazing. I learn so much from You Tube than anywhere. These tours are beautiful and amazing. ❤️🌹❤️
I feel the same way Sylvia. ❤ Tour videos like these get me through my weekly Methotrexate hangover. (Methotrexate is a chemotherapy drug also commonly used to treat autoimmune arthritis, Lupus etc.) Peace ✌️

I’m a Yank that is obsessed with the incredible history of the UK. I so enjoy your knowledge of history on the tours you do. My biggest bucket list item is to if not move to the UK, spend at least a year or two to immerse myself in the historical sites with my pack of dogs. I’d move there but I don’t think I can talk my son’s family into it. And it’s too far to be from my grandson. So thank you for the tours I can watch from America. How have I only just discovered you Sinead! The cemetery tours are fantastic and Highgate and Brompton are amazing and fascinating. My job as a grave tender allows me to spend time in my local cemeteries, but it is amazing to see the bigger ones too. Looking forward to what comes next 🪦🌸
So thrilled to find your website! My cousin and I visited Brompton Cemetery in September of 2021. We had lodgings nearby and discovered the cemetery while exploring the area. Your tours and shared history of the London cemeteries are wonderful! So proud to have been there!
I found a new word yesterday " Hiraeth - the link with the long-forgotten past, the language of the soul, the call from the inner self. Half forgotten - fraction remembered. Nostalgia for ancient places which we can never return. It is the echo of lost places of our souls past and our grief for them. It is is the wind, and the rocks, and the waves, and the rocks and the waves. It is no where and every where." That just about sums me up when Mystical Egypt, is mentioned. As a child I would cry because I couldn't go home to Egypt. I told people my real mum and dad would come and get one day. I feel that you Sinead, understand feelings like this ? Your video and narrative brought it all back me. Strange I should come across Hiraeth yesterday and then this morning you awakened my memories. I hope I don't sound to much like a loony 😄 Lots of love and Blessed Be always dear Sinead 💖💖
love these graveyard tours sinead! But your best video by far, is the Highgate cemetary!! Your videos are really top notch, and you've got me hooked on these great " London tours by foot".😊😊

I would love for you to do more cemetery tour, I like the way to present them and the fact that you cover more than famous people. Thank you more more.

Sinead I just found your site and subscribed to it. You have a wonderful way of talking about the people that came before us. You show immense respect when speaking of them. My daughter and I will be visiting London and since we love walking through graveyards ourselves, I know we will enjoy seeing these beautiful places. Thank you once again.
Sinead,I enjoy the walk through Victorian cemeteries,I remember the one I visited in Bradford many years ago and I think it is much more interesting and rich in meditation and thoughts than a walk through the bustle and hustle of big cities. Thank you for the interesting information about personalities buried there.
Such a beautiful cemetery, I’ve been to London once many years ago and I quite enjoyed myself. There is a beautiful cemetery where I grew up in Brooklyn, New York called the Greenwood cemetery. It’s also very historical.
@@ToursbyFootLondon Hi they also have theater going on & reenactments of certain eras in history and of course tours. I believe you would enjoy it very much, I do enjoy your videos. I’m new to your channel. Thank you.
I said my goodbyes to my grandmother at our local crematorium a few days ago. As I left the chapel a Robin landed on my foot. I am a great believer in birds and lose. x
I started out my morning watching this one. I lost both grandfathers by the age of 4. Cemeteries have never scared me. It's like visiting family. Very lovely. A glorious place to spend eternity. In the heart of London surrounded by what they loved. So many glorious tributes to loved ones. I agree about the tardus (sp?) I'm not into Dr. Who but I did recognize that shape before you mentioned it. I had to chuckle. Your stories about these people bring it to life. I do want to ask you a cemetery question. I'm psychic. I always have been. Years back I had a dream about a London cemetery, outside of town. It's up on a hill. Central London is in the distance. It has a tall black fence around it. To the left is a wide street. Directly behind it is a department store. I know it sounds weird. I took the bus into central London. Am I completely nuts or does it sound familiar?? Thanks.
Thank you for all you amazing videos Sinead, I have a 10 year old son with Cerebral Palsy/epilepsy he needs 24/7 care and it’s hard, so my only spare time really is at bedtime so it’s really nice to be able to relax and watch your videos and feel like I’ve been out somewhere as it’s hard to go out anywhere too far away with my son due to all his equipment we have to take with us and the fact he gets travel sick. My favourite place growing up was London so I really do appreciate your videos with all my heart. Xxxx Gem

Wow, I used to work near here just behind the tall Empress State Building that you see when you come out of West Brompton Station. I've been past the cemetery many times but never went in. I should have done. A small aside. Just round the corner on Coleherne Road near St Lukes church is where they filmed the house in An American Werewolf In London. Where the nurse, Jenny Agutter, lived. Great stuff as always Sinead. I learn so much from your videos.

30 years ago I lived in Earls Court, my son was a few months old, in a hotel while I waited to be given a flat in East London. My partner and I were short of money so we would walk through Brompton Cemetery instead of jumping on the bus or tube to get to Fulham Road where there was a better range of shops and a market and a supermarket. I discovered that Chelsea football ground backs onto it, the walk through BC was amazing especially in the Autumn where the trees turned amber, yellow, red....it was a sight behold. I remember standing under a tree witch had turned bright yellow and I was bathed in a yellow glow. We stopped going because men were using it as a Cottaging area. We did not know what the hell was going on at the time but we would be walking through the many paths and out from behind a tree would pop out a man who would see a couple then disappear back behind the tree, it was happening consistently especially near the walls of the cemetery. . It was very surreal and scary, then a friend told me what they were doing....lol!
LOVE your graveyard tours, thank you!!! I watch Serenity Sue and Irish Eyes graveyard tours and LOVE them. I'm so glad you've done London ones bc I will probably never make my way overseas unless I win the lotto. Much love from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Side note: anyone else want to grab that basketball and huck it. Lol i have zero patience for unnecessary noise.

Dear Sinead we will watch you no matter where you go. It’s like playing tourist with an old friend.
I love this tour so yes please more visits to graveyards❣️
Already in the works Marie
Thank you
Sinéad
So thrilled to find your website! My cousin and I visited Brompton Cemetery in September of 2021. We had lodgings nearby and discovered the cemetery while exploring the area. Your tours and shared history of the London cemeteries are wonderful! So proud to have been there!
We are glad you found us, Ellen!

To answer your question about the other 5 cemeteries… Yes, please! Fascinating!
Tours of the other five cemeteries would be great. Four of them I have never heard of before.
I think we will be doing this for sure.
I learn so much from your videos. You are fabulous. Much love from Pierrr Part Louisiana ❤
Lovely to see the overgrown vegetation in the older part of the cemetery are being taken care of, it looks like a huge project. A big thank-you to the Maintenance team.

Thanks again for watching, Terri! If you know of anyone else who might also enjoy these videos, please share us with them. We would really appreciate that! Thank you.
Welcome to the channel, Suz!
Sinead,I enjoy the walk through Victorian cemeteries,I remember the one I visited in Bradford many years ago and I think it is much more interesting and rich in meditation and thoughts than a walk through the bustle and hustle of big cities. Thank you for the interesting information about personalities buried there.
Thank you for watching! You may enjoy Sinead's other cemetery videos here: ruclips.net/p/PLo-M-WVj_1Ag_HYzErI1-svYdDmHPHgpN
Love, love, Loved the morning we spent there with you!!!!
As did I Lovely
Send my love to everyone
Sinead
My son used to live handy to here and we walked through here. Wish I knew then what I learned today.
Such a beautiful cemetery, I’ve been to London once many years ago and I quite enjoyed myself. There is a beautiful cemetery where I grew up in Brooklyn, New York called the Greenwood cemetery. It’s also very historical.
Sounds wonderful
Maybe I’ll make it there someday
Sinead
@@ToursbyFootLondon Hi they also have theater going on & reenactments of certain eras in history and of course tours. I believe you would enjoy it very much, I do enjoy your videos. I’m new to your channel. Thank you.
I said my goodbyes to my grandmother at our local crematorium a few days ago. As I left the chapel a Robin landed on my foot. I am a great believer in birds and lose. x
So sorry for your loss Minnie
I too am a believer especially in the significance of the Robin
I just love cemeteries I often go for walks in cemeteries near where I live. Can't Wait for the next tour of cemetery.
Thanks.
Could be Highgate except for department store.
thank you, Sinead, for this lovely and insightful tour. looking forward to meet magnificent 7 cemetery tours. cheers!
Thanks for your continued support, Mary!
Hi Sinead, another great video walk with you lovely lady, thank you so much ❤
The Courtoy Mausoleum is really impressive.
And the fact it is long locked makes it even more interesting.

Thank you for all you amazing videos Sinead, I have a 10 year old son with Cerebral Palsy/epilepsy he needs 24/7 care and it’s hard, so my only spare time really
is at bedtime so it’s really nice to be able to relax and watch your videos and feel like I’ve been out somewhere as it’s hard to go out anywhere too far away with my son due to all his equipment we have to take with us and the fact he gets travel sick. My favourite place growing up was London so I really do appreciate your videos with all my heart. Xxxx Gem

Thank you for another fantastic tour Sinead. It is wonderful that so many use it day today.
Love your videos, Very informative. Some of my ancestors are probably in that cemetery. I can trace my roots in the exact same area to a Robert Browne ( Great grandfather x 9) who died around 1650 Greetings from Mark in Canada 🇨🇦
Glad you liked this one, Mark!
Wow what an interesting video! What a fantastic cemetery. Love the tardis ☄️💫🌟just mind blowing the amount of graves!
Such a beautiful place, I definitely want to visit some cemeteries in Europe
I like the graveyards it's interesting, and like someone said the creepier the better!
Sinead, I love all your tours! I was just re-watching this one, and am curious why is there entrances like this on a cemetery? I’m from Canada so we don’t see this at ours… thanks, and keep on filming! I love it!
Would love to see the other graveyards sinead. They're fascinating. I'm also showing them to an elderly neighbour who used to live in London and who loves all the graveyards there but hasn't seen them for decades. It brought tears to their eyes to watch this video.
This makes me soooo happy Ash
Delighted x

Yes I saw that recently and was intrigued by the ghost! The jack the ripper tour and the musical tour were absolutely amazing. I never knew about the rooftop gig for example
Just discovered your tours and have been binge watching now. Hugs to Sinead from the US! Btw, love the cemetery ones the most.
Welcome to the channel, Kristin!
Hiya Sinead, agree the crows add the creepy factor. I did giggle while you were at the gates lol. Interesting re the different types of gravestones etc in meanings. Blessings Luv Ontario Canada 🐝

Definitely need to do the magnificent 7 cemetery’s ... What a fantastic insight into these magnificent cemetery’s

Much love from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Side note: anyone else want to grab that basketball and huck it. Lol i have zero patience for unnecessary noise.
Plenty more to come, Jamie Lynn!
