My mom and I love watching your videos together during dinner. We are hopefully planning a trip to London purely to see the most lavish things. All thanks to you ❤
Even 20 years ago, this place was busy, loaded with silver, jewelry, maps, all over-priced. We walked from S. Kensington, up to Notting Hill, then across Hyde Park, through various gardens, back to our hotel, about 8-10 miles. We slept hard that night! Memories, but I wouldn’t do it again. I LOVE the stamps you bought!!
Enjoyable vlog Hannah. Crowds seem standard for a touristy place. Not too shocking as I live in California, Bay Area and we have crowds at concerts, flea markets and craft shows. Love the people watching, food and your laughter 😊
Thank you Hannah.. Sweet mother of blimey Charlie. All those people walking down the street. Can you imagine opening the curtains first thing in the morning to find a hundred plus people staring. 😊
Portobello is always rammed on a. Saturday Hannah and I always go on a Friday with 80 per cent of places open but half the people.Yes there is a lot of tourist tack on sale but it still is great Antique stuff as well.Lovely video and well done inspite of the mob.
Thanks for braving the crowds so we could see what it’s REALLY like on Portobello Road. I have wanted to go there for ages. I love your purchases. When I get there I will definitely check out the stamps! PS-If I had a house there, I think I would go for a nice sage green color.
Why is it whenever I’m feeling fed up and I hate everything, this girl with her real talk and wandering makes me feel so much more happier? Hannah girly wish there were more people like you. Thank you for your videos. 🙌
Happy Tuesday, Hannah. Fun vlog today…made me think about the song in Bedknobs and Broomsticks about finding anything and everything on Portobello Road. The crowds did look huge and some of the prices were crazy. Have a wonderful week and eagerly awaiting Friday’s vlog!
Hello Hannah. I never ever go up the hill on a Saturday as it's mental and full of tat. I am strictly Elgin upwards. The best donuts ever are at the donut stall before the Canopy bridge. Makaan is the best Indonesian market food and I have been going for over 20 years. I only ever shop under the canopy for second hand and vintage as it is there and Goldbourne that have the best bits of real market trade. Love your videos. Sending best.
Success - you did really well, Hannah! And thank you for braving the crowds to bring us such a cool vlog - a great close-up look at Portobello Market! 🙏🥰
My relative has a ‘pitch’ on the Market It’s antiques He has worked the market since the mid to late 1980’s He has also done most of the sign writing for many of the shops as well ❤️❤️🏴🏴🌼🌼😍😍👍 👍
The last time I went to P R I went on Friday to miss the crowds. I also missed some shops being open but still I did not have to fight the crowds. I love PB❤
Thank you for the video, Hannah! ... When people go to a market like that one, they should ask themselves for each item: "Do I really need this?" When you move house you will probably throw away all the stuff that you have bought over the years that did not answer that question with "Yes!". In my current house, my wife and I pretty well only have things that are absolutely necessary for ourselves and the 24 rescued cats. We threw out so much when we moved house 7 years ago.
That was very buzzy and picturesque Hannah. Takes me back to when I worked in London In the 1950's [ sorry guys, I know it was back in the dark ages lol ] London never changes that much - love it x

You can't show enough food videos Hannah. I live in Canada and the food there in Britain interests me, especially with my grandparents coming here from England years ago. I've heard about the foods there and have tasted some...love it! I did however enjoy this vlog as you toured around the market...love doing that too!
@janetlamb6812cities all over the world have higher crime rate (simply due to higher population which increases all ratios). London is no worse and at least has more class than many cities.
Wow, what crowds😳😳😳😳people everywhere, beautiful people though🖐️☺️❤️. Who needs a sign saying "Toilet", for the toilet🤔, how gross🚽🪠🧻. Now, the size of those magnifying glasses was scary😱, it's a market, a monacle is a better choice🧐. Did you think the silver stalls were naff, not sure about that, possibly picking up dodgy vibes👮♀️🚓. Some of the items were outrageously overpriced, 400 quid for a plastic handbag, I don't think so 😶. Bit unsure about the Disney and Fortnum's merch, it scared me, confidence issues😨. Brilliant buys for 9 quid, two stamps, very poignant and personal, giving the vlog a calm and cosy feel😌🛋️. A fantastic vlog Hans, perfect for a spring Tuesday💐❤️❤️❤️😁
I haven't been to Notting Hill for ages! The houses are lovely but personally if I had to pay those property prices I wouldn't want that noise or people posing on my doorstep constantly. London really does have the food in markets, I've watched all your videos and I reckon London Borough must have the best food selection. To me Notting Hill is London culture its a must see.
Thank you for taking us on a tour of Portobello Market Hannah! Too busy for my liking but very interesting stalls. Love the block stamps you purchased. I went to Europe a couple of times on high school trips but missed the year they went to England. I so love your vlogs - I get to see London! Have a good rest of the week! Looking forward to Friday's video.
Brilliant vlog Han. Have you ever thought of doing a car boot vlog, there is a good car boot in Chiswick. Also, Chiswick would be a nice high street to vlog. it's like a down market Kensington high street but up market Hammersmith/king street. Xx
Thank you for braving the crowds, Hannah. I went there twice but never on the "main" day. I enjoyed the antique shops and all. I bought some really nice tea cups with "arts and crafts" motifs at Alice's for only 6 quid each. I also love the tea from Bird and Blend. They have a delicious version of Earl Grey with vanilla. Yum.
Last went there in the late 1960s ,back then lots of Reggee playing from the run down houses , the population was from the west indies ,sitting on the steps outside listerning to the music and trying to pick up the women , but plenty of variety on the market .Nice Vid.
Markets are my nightmare and have been for over 40 years. You have to sharpen your elbows to poke people out the way, whilst they try to literally snatch things from you so they can take a look. Awful places. You are one brave lady, Hannah. Thanks for taking one for the team 😂.
Thanks Hannah for letting us come along with you to Portabella Rd. When Dovie and I went there we found a few things. Most of my souvenirs were vintage books by English and Scottish authors from old book stores. Nice finds. Cheers Ron and Dovie
I love your '10 pound Tuesdays' - Portobello Road is very cool - spendy, but cool to see. I stumbled across your videos during the 2020 madness and totally love your walks around London. Thank you for sharing! The food there looks amazing - from the fun street food to the grocery stores (Tesco to Harrod's) to the (in)formal teas - even the cool pub your shared with your dad and Judy - too much fun! It takes all of us (except Londoner's) away from our daily lives to a place far away - I find your vlogs to be honest and genuine!
I have been there during the Notting Hill Festival in August, trying to navigate through the curb-to-curb people. Even more crowded and busy, but a great time to visit if you enjoy good food and music of the West Indies. Great memories :) Love the vlog and exploration of the area.
A fantastic little mooch around, Hannah, thank you! Loved this week’s tenner Tuesday haul, very different. Always some great stalls amongst the tourist tat, vegan foodie bits too… perfect vlog! ❤
This was another awesome informative video about the Markets there in London and what to watch out for Thank You and have a fantastic beautiful week🫅Hannah🫅🇬🇧🤠🇬🇧
I enjoy the Saturday walk from my hotel at Kinsington High Street to Nottinghill. I picked up a few vintage prints to remind me of my travel to the beautiful city of London.
Great Job Hannah, shopping on $10 Tuesday & actually having $1 left!!! You are a very keen shopper to be able to find 2 items for only $9!!! It seems that Portobello Road is always packed with people on the weekends, but you did a nice job Hannah, navigating through the chaos to show us all the "bits & bobs" that are there! Thx again Hannah for sharing this part of London, & I am also very glad that you had such beautiful weather! Have a great week Hannah, & I look forward to your next vlog on Friday! In the meantime, stay safe!!!
Good post, well done Hannah and I loved that you pointed out ‘think twice before buying’ if you think it’s not real, It’s NOT real! Many years ago I lived in Ledbury Gardens it was always a busy area but Portobello Rd has got so famous since Notting Hill the film and what’s worse is the market/s are 7 days per week where’s years ago it was just Saturdays. I now live in Clapham and never visit Portobello on a Saturday. One thing I’d say for tourists, visit Notting Hill/ Portobello Rd by TFL buses, the 452 goes from Vauxhall to Kensal Rise via Chelsea hospital, Sloane Sq, Knightsbridge (Harrods) Hyde Park- Kensington Gardens and High St, Nottingham Hill and the beautiful side roads and the majestic homes that surround Portobello Rd.
Hannah, I would be shocked, and delighted to receive a letter with an ornate "H" or " Alices White rabbit" stamp on the back, only to find out its not from you. Oh well life goes on. Some lovely looking homes I think a little to busy for me to want to live there full time. Enjoyed this video seeing the market again, changed a lot since I was last there. Stay safe and have fun - see you on Friday. Steve
Hey Hannah! Thanks a bunch for taking us on those delightful tours of the old, bustling market. I absolutely adore these kinds of places, even if I'm just strolling around without buying anything. It's all about soaking up the atmosphere! Totally agree with you on the fake stuff front - gotta watch out for those sellers. Anyway, I had a blast watching your video, and I promise it wasn't boring at all, contrary to what you mentioed at the end of the vlog. Have a fantastic Tuesday evening, and see you on Friday! 💐🇬🇧❤🇺🇸💐
You did so well filming and chatting with all those people around the pastel coloured houses are lovely but I can't imagine payng London prices to have people peering in my windows ! 😊
Fantastic flashback for me my first trip to London many moons ago! I love the Bramley Hedge China have 2 pieces hoping to come back in Sept after 30 years lol Thanks Hannah love anywhere you take us!
That car was a Nissan Figaro. They were made in the nineties, to look retro sixties for the Japanese Market. A lot of examples ended up in this country after people privately imported them.
Well Hannah, I've been noticing. Your little Sony vlogging camera appears to be doing a great job for you. It focuses well. Not constantly hunting or stuck on blur. I like the way colours look too. The Portobello Market vegetable offerings look to be the best value of the lot. Are they only open on Saturday? It's kind of crazy busy, no? Fame and notoriety bring the crowds! I hope you had a very nice rest of your day. Take care. ❤See you Friday. 🌺🌸🌷
Fun video, love your comments. My first time in London was April/23 and my wife and I walked Portobello Rd on a Wednesday morning I believe. It was busy then. I can't imagine doing that on a Saturday! Thanks!
Another great vlog Hannah, thank you. It’s a shame that (some) traders the world over feel the need to scam tourists, reminds of one in a Covent Garden back in the 80’s, he charged a Japanese fella £650 for a zippo lighter, the guy was selling all kinds of tat on his stall, he wanted £200 for a homemade copy of the Blues Brothers dvd for instance.
AHHHH!!! Okay, I'm over my fear of crowds, lol. You are a trooper Hannah! I would have gotten claustrophobic, panicked and high tailed it out of there 😂😂 Very good video for the craziness it was. I adore what you bought, perfect! Have a lovely week, thank you so much for sharing this with us!
Fun to see. No way am I going on a Saturday. Way too many people. Loved seeing the variety of things. The color homes are quite pretty. Thanks for braving the crowd to do this video!😊
I really liked Portobello Market when we (My husband & I) visited London in 2022. So many great finds and food was fantastic! Yes I did purchase a few things and would love be able to go back and get more. Maybe someday, until then I have your vlogs to watch. Thank you for taking time to do this!
I love the tours around London. There was so much I missed when I visited your beautiful city. I can’t wait to see more. I love seeing what is in the gift shops ( A & V museum) and look forward to seeing more. Gardens and architecture are amazing too. Cheers!
The last time I went to Portabello Road about 20 years ago I saw a set of etched glasses on a stall priced at £60, identical to ones I'd bought recently in a department store for about a tenner. I told the stall holder and he got really nasty telling me to keep quiet!😁 I really liked the print blocks you bought - I'd have looked at for something like that too. Enjoyed the vlog, Hannah, thanks!
Thank you for the tour of Notting Hill and showing the famous Blue Door from one of my all time favorite movies!!! Last time I was in England was in 1998….once I get my mobility back and can walk around better (arthritis is not fun), I look forward to going back in the future.

I loved this! Brings back memories. Love your commentaries they are so realistic and mimic exactly how I feel about things when I am browsing and shopping. Aren't those colourful houses quaint and yes so very Caribbean and perky..😊
Your vlogs are on point. They are ideal for letting us non Londoners to get an idea and what to expect when travelling to London. Telling it as it is in your opinion.
Hi Hannah. Thank you for venturing into this market so I can see what it’s like. I’d never go, it’s far too busy for me! I liked the Brambly Hedge stall too. I also have been using a film camera recently. I hope you have a lovely week 😊
Thank you for braving the tourists in Notting Hill area😮. I couldn't cope 😅. Well done for your £10 budget. You do make me laugh out loud with some of your comments, you say what i 🤔 think😂❤. Keep safe love as usual. Rosie O from a slightly warmer Devon, England 🏴 x
Hannah, Thank you and bless you for enduring this mass of humanity for your fans! Just like when you were looking through the prints and the woman acted as if that space belonged to her! I could feel myself getting jittery and wanting to escape, and I wasn't even there! You are a better girl than I am. Loved learning about the area. Thanks.
oh my gosh, thank you for enduring the crazy crowds in order to share this vlog! It does look like a fun experience though, and I also adore the colorful houses!! love the stamps you picked as well!!
Hey Hannah great to see your video. About a decade ago my sister in law brought me a breakfast at Tiffanys sign from these markets. It definitely lives up to its name a tourist destination with the prices to match.
The crowd is tough but Hannah is tougher. Thanks for putting up with the hectic market to give us the tour. Please remember you can't possibly do too many food videos.
Kudos to Hannah for walking through human traffic ..thought i was on the way to the carnival when watching this..a thousand memories... Fantastic vlog as always
Hi hannah, great video, good trip. Also the pub trip was good. there was a lot carnage that day but you handled it with grace, ease, and humour as always.thanks.
You're one of the very few youtubers who actually says / takes a look at prices of items, that's great, thanks!
glad you enjoy that too!
Great things all over - however - the older I get the more I absolutely hate crowds. No can do anymore. Thanks Hanna, another great Vlog!

You are a brave soul, conquering all those tight crowd...bravo Hannah 😎
Fun to see. No way am I going on a Saturday. Way too many people. Loved seeing the variety of things. The color homes are quite pretty. Thanks for braving the crowd to do this video!😊
Looks a nice market Hannah, bit pricey though. 👍😁😎 My favourite stall was with the binoculars and compasses. Look forward to your next video 👍😁😎
Cheers!
I got a beautiful DIOR commercial before your video and have never before seen a luxury brand commercial on any videos I watch. Well done!!!
Happy Tuesday, Hannah!! xoxoxo
Thank you for the tour of Notting Hill and showing the famous Blue Door from one of my all time favorite movies!!! Last time I was in England was in 1998….once I get my mobility back and can walk around better (arthritis is not fun), I look forward to going back in the future.

Colorful houses reminds me of Rainbow Road in Charleston South Carolina! 😊
I loved this! Brings back memories. Love your commentaries they are so realistic and mimic exactly how I feel about things when I am browsing and shopping. Aren't those colourful houses quaint and yes so very Caribbean and perky..😊
What a lovely trip! Thanks for bringing us along, Hannah!
I love the navy blue house with the red door, so classy. My parents had a red door on a yellow house, so nice.
So beautiful Hannah & love ❤️ your vlogs of London England 🇬🇧 so much!
Thank youu Hannah! I'm flying to London for the first time in 2 weeks time. Your channel has been giving me useful guides on what to do

I bought something on Portobelllo Road but I cannot remember what it was! Manically crowded but fun! Thank you for the video
Hannah, I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for giving me a tour of London and surrounding areas each week. Keep up the good work, kiddo.🇨🇦
Came years ago and we loved portobello road shopping. I bought a silk scarf which I still love so much.
Thanks for this, definitely in my bucketlist to go there, no matter how busy the streets may be, I just love looking at vintage markets
Love love Notting Hill… the best store is Stumper and Fielding….fabulous British tweed clothing….
Love this ❤❤❤🇳🇿
Hi hannah, great video, good trip. Also the pub trip was good. there was a lot carnage that day but you handled it with grace, ease, and humour as always.thanks.
