Very interesting graveyard! Crowded, but well tended! Now we also know why people buried in abandoned churches! Great tour of the mausoleums GV . You always get a look inside!!
That cloth on the slab had me wondering where they were/went. Then you made sense about what may have happened. lol Thank you for the video. Hope you both are keeping well.
1st time for me to see a graveyard with the graves so close together. But I love all the stone out where I live or even when I am out and about I am always bringing rocks home. I have always wanted a stone house but that hasn't come about. But I do have stone gardens and a pond. Lol! Thank you for the visit. 😊
10:43 Interesting that it says “Deplored” by the poor, as this would mean that they strongly disapproved of the doctor, while the rest of the inscription suggests otherwise. Very curious! Very enjoyable video, thanks GV.
Great video GV,nice to see it well kept, hopefully the remains were removed to a safer place,May they all R.I.P Safe travels to you both, god bless,👋👋🙏🙏👍🇦🇺
What a VERY grand mausoleum!! It's such a shame about the vandalism!! I wonder what happened to those buried in the mausoleum!! GREAT content, as always, Cathal!! XXXX ❤👍💞🤗
Hi nadia, it's strange to see the Niches empty well I couldn't see other areas but it looks empty to me. I'm sure they had to close the door up maybe vandalism occurred
I thought this cemetery was very well kept considering most of the deceased are squeezed in there together. It is not disrespectful, they have just decided to use every piece of open turf for burials. It really is close together so one has to walk on the curbing until someone breaks an ankle! It was still a magical place Cathal! Thanks for taking us there! ♥️🙏🇮🇪
It is surprising how crowded this little cemetery is! How can they continue to add more graves in such a crowded space? It’s a mystery! Thank you! This video was great! ❤
Such a tidy cemetery. You've made me curious about these places & the stories. I stopped at Sandgate Cemetery today & someone from County Clare was there. Many were from 1880's & most in horrible disrepair, fallen headstones with lichen. Many had collapsed slabs & in 1 part something had been tunnelling under the slabs. Looked like a fox dens, maybe rabbits too. Was very hot & barren place but I looked around for 1hr. I brushed the dirt off a fallen stone & sharp pain like a stab to the finger. Neville someone, I know it was him telling me to sod off.
@@GraveVisitations LOL it was probably a cat head thorn or something but the thought amused me. He would be ungrateful cos his headstone was 3/4 under dirt & no-one has seen it for a while. After that I wandered to the 2 crypt mausoleum things with a sore finger saying "Why Neville, why?". There are 85,000 graves there so I only saw a bit.
Beautiful cemetery, its wonderful to see it well maintained and cared about. Thanks for all of your hard work on these tours, And may all of the dearly departed rest in peace 🙏 🪦, have a blessed weekend, from Julie in Virginia USA😊

Very interesting church ruins and graveyard. The large mausoleum was particularly interesting. It probably was broken into sometime in the past, and the remains were probably reburied somewhere else. I noticed an article of clothing left behind. The last mausoleum you looked at, I saw the skull and some bones, but no messy remnants of a coffin. ( Unless you saw something that I did not. ) It actually looked pretty clean to me. Thank you very much GV and Sue, for a very interesting video. Have a great day. 😊
