Our crow friend was named Ralph. My dad rescued him after he fell out of the nest in a wind storm. Ralph grew up over the spring and summer and spent a lot of time with our family. Toward the end of summer he started spending time with the other crows. By October he had gone wild. He would still come and visit from time to time, but wouldn't let us get too near to him. By the next spring we couldn't tell which crow was Ralph. It was a wonderful experience for our family and I think it was a perfect ending.

This child is learning what a lot of other children miss out on in their early years of development. Pure and natural empathy. All creatures on this earth share a natural form of communication, a universal language in the form of empathy. The ability to understand what another is thinking just by connecting and understanding body movement, sound, gestures and even muscle movement down to very small muscles like in the face. Simple breathing patterns can tell another creature what mood someone or something is in. His empathy levels as he grows into a adult will give him a great edge with his peers. It is lovely to see being displayed here.

Grizzly bears?
Komodo dragons?
"We thought he should have a fair chance" -- my heart. The dividends your kindness paid cannot be measured.
I have rescued two crows like this in the last 35 years they make excellent long-term friendship and bonding with humans they can live up to 22 years if they are happy so I wish you and your family and his little bird a bright future.
What a woderful gift from nature to your son. Your son will treasure the unique memory. Priceless. Wonderful crow. Great video.
Some things just can’t be explained and it’s beautiful…..✌️
This can easily be explained: crows are known for being very intelligent and they bond for life. This is not the first crow maintaining a close relationship with humans.
This is seriously one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen in my life! Otto and Russell are PRECIOUS together!! Beautiful!!🤍🩵🩷💜🥰🥰🥰
I have a lot of love and respect for the wild birds..
Какая прелесть 🤗 Благодарю за видео 🌻
Oh my goodness. That's what love looks like. Thank you❤
He's so sweet and smart. Animals never cease to amaze me. They're wonderous.
So wow - how bird made allowances for the baby human to touch & baby adapted as well - aware of need to be gentle 💚
Every young wizard needs a familiar.
Thanks Harry Potter
Thank you so much for this video! You hear about such horrible things in this world, it is wonderful to hear about so much kindness you extended to this beautiful crow. "Let nature take its course!" That sounds real humane, doesn't it? I'm so glad you didn't listen and took care of Russel. Your little boy Otto is so cute and so gentle with Russel. Oh! I saw the comment below...Russel Crow....ha ha ha. Ah! that's great! God Bless you for being so kind to Russel.
Lindo a interação do pássaro 🦅 com menino 🧒, bela natureza e harmonia
a little boy had compassion for animal❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This child is learning what a lot of other children miss out on in their early years of development. Pure and natural empathy. All creatures on this earth share a natural form of communication, a universal language in the form of empathy. The ability to understand what another is thinking just by connecting and understanding body movement, sound, gestures and even muscle movement down to very small muscles like in the face. Simple breathing patterns can tell another creature what mood someone or something is in.
His empathy levels as he grows into a adult will give him a great edge with his peers.
It is lovely to see being displayed here.
All creatures? lol
@@colinjames2469 Glad you are amused with what you do not understand 😉
Crows certainly are personalities aren’t they .So individual and unique.I love the way we are seeing some wonderful friendships between crows and different species, you are a kind and lovely family and deserve Russ’els affection❤

What a wonderful memory to have for the little boy. Playing with his friend the crow. Lovely story.
What truly wonderful people. They are a credit to the human race, if only there were more people like them. Thank you so much for giving that bird a chance in life.
I always said kids n animals understand each other
You both should be proud of yourselves for teaching the little child how to respect other creatures at an early stage, well done you both.
Thank you for helping this crow 🐦⬛. I believe he would have been very lonely hungry thirsty and scared and he would have died if it weren’t for you ! Much love and respect for you and your child !
👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰😊😊😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for being such kind people to this lovely little bird.
Какие вы милые!. А птичка, просто прелесть, оберегает малыша. И он её. Где это?, какая страна?. Хочу к вам.
Raven birds are different from other birds. They have a real relationsship. We used to have a little magpie which had fallen out of the nest.. It was amazing. The bird is very well now, but we miss her.
I'm glad you rescued that bird. It's beautiful.
Leave it to the kids to show us how to get along with nature. BEAUTIFUL!
Как мило!Они дружат!Вороненок тоже еще мал.
I think it's an Amazingly Touching Interaction that this Gorgeous Baby'has gotten with the Crow. Very Lovely and Unusual🥰💯❣️
!
the gentlest toddler ever (Otto even concentrated at being soft towards his crow pal)
You are so blessed. I think that this is the most beautiful story I have ever seen.
That's the perfect name for a crow. I love it.
Or stone...as in stone the crow
How beautiful this story is!I'm someone who loves every animal. Not only birds other type of animals. We should be kind every animal.May God bless
Я, взрослый мужчина, едва не заплакал от умиления. Человек и природа - одно целое. Берегите каждую травку, каждое деревце, каждое живое существо. Мы все дети природы. Мир вам всем.
Consciousness links us all. What we do with that is up to “us”. Choose Kindness❤️
So rare an occasion such special connection with the wild bird. So rare
Thank you so much for taking care and giving the crow 🐦⬛ another chance!!!
When i was a young child at school i remember a lad a bit older than myself had a crow that would sit on his shoulder as he made his way to school. And sure enough the crow would be waiting for him when school ended , on some railings the kids used to play on. The boy taught him to speak some words as well. I was in awe of the adorable relationship between boy and bird !!!!
This boy has been blessed by Odin, he will be a great warrior
Wow love this crow ❤❤😊
I really love the bond between this adorable kid and his frow ♥♥
The miracle of life. Life is the most precious thing that exists in the universe, and love is the most precious thing that exists in life...
It’s amazing to know that you earned the ‘TRUST’ of a little crow and taught ur son that love is mutual irrespective of the breed you are !!! It’s a lesson of equality, universal love, care, trust, comfort and all those wonderful emotions which is disappearing from the world. Wonderful !!
