Love to do these as a desk break even without step. Great way to get a quick cardio (dance) in. Thank you, Chris! Even as an advanced stepper, your basic workouts are never boring and your energy makes them so fun! 💃🙌

I added a second riser halfway through for an extra cardio burst. This was a great step workout. To answer your question, I usually can remember a basic step workout for the most part. I don’t remember advanced step workouts though. I’m looking forward to Wednesday. A good reason I became better at step was from following the step workouts Monday and Wednesday for a bonus after strength training. They’re short with more breakdowns. When I see the same moves in Saturday step, I get it easier. If anyone struggles with step, definitely try to fit these weekday step classes in. I appreciate all of the workouts you do on your channel! 🎉

Great class Chris I got to use 2,risers. Always great workouts with you vikki from Cali. It was funny I was doing workout not live and all of a sudden there was come on Vikki get to work. I thought how did she know haha
i used to do step when my first was born ('92) i've been using the steps as a weight bench for many years. I decided to give it a go a few months ago. I LOVE IT! Started without any step or risers, then the base step, now one riser. Love the choreography and that you had some slower tempos so that my brain could keep up with my feet. 66yo!
I just loved this step workout! Not only was it super fun (and I do laugh right along with you at the mistakes lol) but I felt like I'm getting stronger and actually knew what I was doing without tripping over my own feet for a change lol Thanks so much Chris!

Looks amazing Chris. I’m always a fan of routines that include lunges off the step. Adds a nice doable challenge for beginners and is just plain fun. This is a great slower pace to get those lunges in at my current level. 👏👏🇨🇦👋💕🏃🏼♀️💪🥰

Hi Christine. LOVE your high energy & wonderful outgoing personality. It really motivates me to push more out of my comfort zone😂. I say "yes I can do this", even if it takes a few classes. I'll get there. I'm a bit sore after the step but do more stretching after your video is done. Today I even sat in a steam room for 30 min. Wow those sore muscles calm down beautifully.😴
Love and appreciate your workouts! After a long day at my mentally exhausting job, I actually don’t want to think so I appreciate your cues and great instruction. Definitely rely on you by choice! This is my workout and de-stress time.
Not sure why, but I loved loved loved this WO. I can do it at regular speed or 1.25 and it works. I am going to try regular speed with double risers to see if I can do it.... love your workouts Chris....

I think it's part of the fun and the stress reliever. But it is a good idea to try to remember them too. That would be a good brain workout.
Today I completed the 30 minute session for beginners. The last time I did a step class was probably in the 90s. Lol. It was a great workout and I am looking forward to the next class. I have a question. When I am doing my cool down and try to bend my leg back to my butt I get cramps in my back thighs. What can I do to so o do not get cramped up.
I didn’t have the energy for cardio on Monday (the month of June has been crazy, this past weekend was no exception!) so I got to do this step workout today. So fun, easy to follow, thank you!

Added a riser today and this was the perfect workout to do that! I actually play these nerdy step girl games when I do your workouts and try to call the next move before you do. I also try stepping without looking at the TV. And when I can't get to sleep, I lie in bed and try to remember the last step workout I did and call it. Told ya, I am a step nerd! 😂😂😂

I wear my airpods during the class - quieter for the house and rarely look at you as the screen is teeny tiny - sometimes when I look at the screen I am on the wrong side of the step. :-). Great step class.

I used to teach step from 1990-2016. Had to retire due to injuries. Just had hip replacement and ready to get back to it. All this is familiar!
