Its worth noting that Emil's reasoning is very similar to Wanda's. The hero did something bad and got away with it, he did something bad and was made a villain. It's the same "That doesn't seem fair" mentality

loved it when jen was telling bruce about representing blonsky and bruce saying "that fight was so long ago, i'm a different person now... literally" -- and jen looks at the camera making some face. i felt like it was referring to bruce being re-casted (from norton to ruffalo) ever since that fight lol

In universe, it was probably about how he’s professor Hulk now, but yeah, that was definitely written with the intention of us seeing it as an Edward Norton reference
A variant of Hulk from the multiverse played by Edward Norton would be cool to see but could create plot holes.

I loved the reference to the celestial that stands out from the earth in eternal, at the same time as the reference to Wolverine, the Thunderbolts and also Planet Hulk... amazing. And everything little by little without hurry, the good thing is made to wait. Very happy with the series and the actress. 👍

In Blonsky's haiku, he talks about his small ears, which is a reference to the changing the abominations ears between movies
I think there is a hint that Blonsky isn't completely honest when Jennifer asks if he truly regrets his actions. He smiled, what person feeling guilt and regret automatically smiles?

It could be the Abomination in him smiling. Maybe he hasn't managed to control his powers as well as he said? Either that or it's just a nod to him still being the villain we knew as you said

My biggest take from the leaked Abomination vs Wong footage is that Wong will make an appearance and possibly have to take the stand

Hulk has to be going back and forth to sakaar. That ship wasn't just a ship to pick him up and drop him off. Its clearly furnished and set up in a way where its a like an away from home office specifically for him. So im sure its got other rooms space for his comfort and not just a transportation ship.
Nah. I took it that he just isn't planning on coming back quickly so he took most of his lab with him.
So glad to have Tim Roth in the mcu again, I hope they take advantage and use him whenever at all possible.

Just pointing out that the look from the bartender to the head of the law firm could have just been because he was up selling the whiskey, not a malicious skrull thing. The whiskey looks like Pappy Van Winkle, which is easily 200$ a drink.

Emil Blonsky getting Jen as his lawyer helps tells a story to the jury that he has changed because Jen will represent him after what happened between him and Bruce without having to speak a single word in court.
I was shocked when the credits came up, I didn't think we'd literally get a 23 minute episode from any of these things
First 3 Wandavision episodes were about the same length

Enjoyed this episode and think is the true pilot with the pilot being the prologue. Love Blonsky and the fact he's more comedic but works with the story and character. Really Enjoyed this episode and hope to get a lot of Abomination And Wong in this episode. Also hope to get Luke, Iron Fist, Colleen, The Leader, William Hurt As General Ross/Red Hulk if he filmed scenes before he passed away RIP.

I believe that Wong was breaking The Abomination out of jail because he was the one who was helping control his anger. If you watch Shan Chi Wong told The Abomination after he beat his butt that they had more work to do with his anger. So I guess that night he got caught.
I'm still waiting for someone to reference the being that appeared in the sky (from the eternals) and the sky spinning (from Moon Knight).
I feel Val leaked the fight footage to make Wong and other good guys look bad so when Emile is released no one questions it
Val: "The world doesn't need a Hulk now, no... it needs an Abomination."
Emil: "...back! I'm back! We're back!"
Doesn’t really make sense, since this footage getting out hurts Emil’s case
Might be a plan to pull Wong in as a witness to testify on Blonksys behalf. It at the least, to explain that he and Wong were working together to improve Abominations state of mind. Either way, it casts a more positive light on him during the trial by associating him with someone who worked with the Avengers and helped stop Thanos. .
In Age of Ultron they fixed up Hawkeye in that pod thing. Seems like the best medical care there is, I mean it literally made a living robot!
But not publicly known. The Avengers have access to Stark tech, Asgardian tech, SHIELD tech, secret government programs, etc.; I mean, we see healthy Senators, but how many Americans actually know what Congressional Health Care looks like?
That was during active duty. Do they get the same care if they’re in a car accident?
The part when Jen and Bruce are on the phone and Bruce says "I'm a completely different person now, literally." I hollered 🤣🤣🤣
If you imagine the court scene from episode 1 and this entire episode being the original episode 1 it’s easy to see why this episode was actually so short. The Titania fight scene would have rounded this episode out to feel less like a transition episode.
I dont think the 7 Souls that Blonsky talks about are the Thunderbolts, I reckon they are his fan club that we saw in preview clips/trailers. Developed through his fight club bouts.
I think he was honest about them just writing letters to him. That happens with real murderers. Some people just don't have standards.

I think the adult orphan thing could be a reference to batman or night wing/robin cause superman and Alfred were referenced in eternals so dc comics is a thing in the mcu
It definately is but it’s also a reference in general to superheroes and/or comic books, it applies as much to dc heroes as it does mcu/avengers.

That might have been *slightly older* footage that leaked. The fight club likely has a strict no filming/no posting policy, to remain off the authorities' radar so they don't get shutdown.
it might be an older footage. maybe different news outlets reported emil's parole and there were people objecting about it and leaked the said footage. that is a common thing when you are well-known.

Though you might find it interesting that the bottle the bartender flashes at the Holliway when he approached without even asking for it was Pappy Van Winkel and it looks to be the 23 year family reserve. It usually runs $350-$400 a glass and about $6000 a bottle in a good shop. The bar must keep it special there just for him since the bartender just gave him a look. He didn't even have to ask for it. Which means he's a regular and a big spender there.

I'm kinda shocked nobody has questioned who was flying the sakaar ship, and where the pilot is when hulks on it, I mean It could have been auto pilot, but it caused a crash, surely there would have been a better way to contact Hulk without causing a crash

I know it’s probably gonna be revealed that Blonskye faked his story but I’m really hoping it’s not I’ve been wanting John Walker to find a mentor to help him through his redemption arc and if Blonskye is telling the truth he would be absolutely perfect for it they were both used by the US government for there dirty work and then thrown to the curb to be forgotten Emil could make sure John and possibly the rest of the thunderbolts never make the mistakes he did again
