Todd was BEGINNING to say that he can't give the spear back because he bought it and also feels like the rightful owner. But he also trailed off as if to imply he CAN'T give it back. As though he bought it and repurposed the Vibranium into the a needle.

if the laws are anything similar to the real world, Todd may actually be right in that he would be the rightful owner because of something we lawyers call the "bona fide purchaser for value without notice"... that is if he truly believed the auctioneers owned the Wakandan spear and wasnt aware that Wakanda laid any claim to the spear before buying it.

My personal head canon is that the actor for Todd was just walking around set while people were setting things up and just found that spear, decided to take the picture, then showed it to the director and the director decided to put it in his scene.

I like how they showed the acrobatic and flexible side of daredevil, it makes his character a lot more comic accurate
That's the bare minimum they could do....
Lol and for me it was the worst aspect of his MCU introduction xD Very rubbery elastic acrobatic CGI... Affleck's Daredevil PTSD is strong with this one.
I miss the early days of MCU when all characters were more grounded.

The DODC showed up so fast it makes you wonder if they knew what was going to happen and were just chilling outside waiting for Jen to come out the whole time. Maybe they are in cahoots with the inteligencia

I don't think DODC is being set up as that kind of group. Like, they're villains, but they're very much bureaucratic and by-the-book villains, operating with legal power and penalizing internally when their members overreach. That said, I'm betting they got a tip from Intelligencia that "a certain enhanced individual is going to smash up the lawyers gala".

I loved the ending so much, it showed the writers really understood their character. When you have a hulk who can control their hulk form, the obvious conclusion is to make them face their human anger

In the 7th episode, Emil said this to Jen.
"Next time you think of Josh, remember everyone we meet, no matter how much they hurt you, is a lesson learned."
So to me, every episode had Jen face some stress for being a Hulk, the attack in video form in this episode was the straw that broke the camel's back.

The Daredevil theme and him beating up people in a Hallway is all I needed, hopefully he's in the final episode too I need all the Daredevil I can get he's one of my favorite Superheroes.

I saw someone else compare it to the villain lairs in '90s Batman movies, which was pretty apt.
The part where Jen doesn’t know who DD is, I interpret as Jen representing the audience who doesn’t know who he is after this huge build up of him being in the MCU
yeah its like watching NWH again. Some people included me were like "whaaaaat!!! Matt!!!" and others were like "who's that?" xD

I'm pretty sure that Matt meant one of the things Jacobs makes are suits that are exclusive to superheroes, not that he exclusively makes suits for superheroes. Super suits are such a niche market that I'm not really sure how Jacobs could run a business of making just them.

I like this episode! I like the chemistry between Jen and Matt. I only wished it didn't have to be so rushed. Hope they meet again some time in the future.
I think it would have been better if DD just left after the warehouse, and then they perhaps met again in Daredevil: Born Again

The Lily Pad hideout reminded me a lot of Poison Ivy’s lairs and aesthetic in the Batman & Robin movie
The MCU daredevil feels very natural and feels like the comic version. The humor in this version is comparable to the Netflix version of Matt, Foggie and, Karen having a humorous conversation at the bar. we also get to see the full totality of his agility.
Exactly he is still just as brooding but he was joking around a lil bit bc he has chemistry with Jen just like with Karen. Maybe even more so👀

I assumed the LeapSquad's use of Cobra brand radios was a reference to how ill-equipped Leap Frog is in general. They look like FRS radios which are generally cheap, available at any RoxxCart and most importantly, totally unsecure.
Really glad you mentioned Carrie because it seemed to me a very intentional call back to that famous scene

Damn, I never knew the complete implications of "being fridged". I honestly thought it was like an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. reference. Now I feel like I need a deep dive into this whole thing cause that sounds like some messed up shit ngl.
You knew something was going to happen but I'm sure most of us thought that Intelligencia was attacking the gala and that's why the alarm was going off and Jen was looking so angry. What they came up with is just about the most awful thing that could've happened. It's perfectly in line with the website but that doesn't mean I ever expected this. Especially Josh having filmed them. The photo was gross enough. While I'm sure this isn't the case I would love it if Blonsky risked prison and turned into Abomination so he could head out with the group and beat Josh to a bloody pulp. I think we all need that. Josh needs to get his comeuppance along with everyone else.
anyone wonder if there would have been a loophole in regards to Luke’s client list for an example if they have a list of Luke’s clients but the list had their code names instead of their real names it would still use the names of the people who asked luke to make them something and it would protect their secret identities if they are told to go to court as a witness

I think the idea of a superhero logistics firm, where all they do is think about the teams' power sets day in and day out to come up with battle plans to work in near any situation, as well as brief them before missions. This logistics team could help with heroes, or groups of heroes, not having to wing EVERY SINGLE MISSION. XD

I know they don’t look much a like but they don’t need to and Todd calls him self the favourite client of the firm, even though he doesn’t have any apparent superpowers. Him being with Holloway at the event also makes me think he is, though he is rich so he could’ve just paid his way in
"The Fridge" is where Blonsky was being kept after the Harlem Incident, according to Agent Coulson In Agents of SHIELD.
In other words, Jen was foreshadowing getting arrested.

Charlie’s performance was full of charm, charisma, while brooding with much more acrobatics. Brilliantly written by the writers. This really is peak Daredevil characterization, I love that he’s inspiring Jen to become a superhero. Also you should never face Daredevil in a Hallway and the netflix theme playing as he says "I am Daredevil" was priceless.

I know this series has started off differently compared to others but some of the bigger themes of being a women in a patriarchal society have gone over so many heads. The writing has been fantastic in this respect 👌 I really appreciate what this series has done and can't wait to see the last episode.

That was actually my favorite part when he shouted that "Wakanda Forever"... wished he brought the spear with him to the meet and do a ray parks twirl and have nerd babies faint... would have been epic in my opinion.

I was thinking that maybe the Accords were repealed due to what happened with Thanos and everything involved with the war against him and the governments realized heroes should be able to do what they want when it's against threats like Thanos or others.
