After an injury of that level, tech legs or not, there's gonna be regular checkups and pt for a long time, possibly for the rest of his life depending on how he heals and progresses.

There was no way that he was a skrull during the Infinity war saga. The absolute deceit to fans that it would have been, with Rhodey not being able to be at his friends funeral? There are plot twists and surprises, but that would have been utterly unacceptable
I thought that Rodey needed the leg braces to walk. If he didn't have the leg braces on when taken out of the capsule then he wouldn't be able to walk and therefore leave the timeline open to interpretation on when he was swapped out. I assume he would need multiple visits to the hospital to which a robe would be needed and it could have been at any of these times later in the timeline where the swap could happen.
I didn’t watch secret invasion but the scene where Rhody gets taken in the hospital gown is when the skrulls intercepted, which would have taken place after endgame and that technology to do that was Tony’s gift to Rhody like the glasses were to Peter.

Both are valid arguments. I would say any access to insider information on The Avengers, their movements, and the tech they have access to, would be INCREDIBLY valuable to the Skrull. Perhaps more so than even access to the U.S. President, and Rhodey's injury would have given the Skrull an easy way to replace him
Personally I don’t care that secret invasion revealed Rhodes was a Skrull. It’s supposed to be a dire revelation. And it’s also kinda the whole point of the skrulls being shape shifters, you’re supposed to doubt whether your favorite heroes are really themselves or not.

And when did Rhodey become US President advisor? And when did the Avengers scattered after the climax Battle of Earth? Just a couple of simple questions are enough now to give us ideas that what the director told us isn't true. The director messed up so hard and confuses a lot of fans by himself during podcast and interview. But still I'm glad that Marvel release this video for us at least try to tell us something that Secret Invasion never tell us
Both are valid arguments. I would say any access to insider information on The Avengers, their movements, and the tech they have access to, would be INCREDIBLY valuable to the Skrull. Perhaps more so than even access to the U.S. President, and Rhodey's injury would have given the Skrull an easy way to replace him

Personally I don’t care that secret invasion revealed Rhodes was a Skrull. It’s supposed to be a dire revelation. And it’s also kinda the whole point of the skrulls being shape shifters, you’re supposed to doubt whether your favorite heroes are really themselves or not.

@@SnowOntheThrone Admittedly it does ruins moments like that. But that's why it would make the most sense to have the switch happen sometime after endgame. There really isn't a reason why Rhodey has to be a skrull for like 5+ years. The "punch" of him being a skrull would be the same no matter the time. So that is why, they probably will write it like it happened after Endgame. Or... if they do make it longer than that... there better damn well be a good plot/writing reason in Armor Wars for why they do that.
Your right but you also need to be extremely careful about who you do this kind of thing to and when. Rhodey being replaced by a skrull was not a problem. Him having been taken since Civil war was going to be a massive one and needlessly retcons things for the sake of a twist.
I would agree if secret invasion was well executed. Because it was a big flop the reveal seemed cheap and disappointing.

If you think about it, after the endgame, we havent seen rody wearing his armor, probably bec the skrull will not be recognized by the warmachine suit
