She-Hulk: Attorney at law is back with a behind the scenes special that goes on for 53 minutes, That's a third of the length of the entire show! Featuring cast interviews, writers thoughts, sets, and cut scenes you quickly come to realise just how everything happened. But hey, the cast had fun making it and that has to count for something....right?! This is part 1 as there is just so much to cover in the special, part 2 will be out Asap. But let me know your thoughts below, does the what you've seen make the show appear better, or worse, they did cut some ACTUALLY funny jokes from the actual series. And as always, thanks for watching :)
So she was a kid and her husband had all the comics....how old was he ....and "had" all the comics? Did he pass away or go bankrupt and sold them all because of poor life decisions.
In real life, Zuckerberg looks like a badly rendered low poly count character! Why did he think his MetaVerse would change what's already reality for him?!?
"I wonder if that's the reason Doctor Strange wasn't a Doctor Strange movie." It turns out yes. Interviews with the head writer show him directly saying that he wasn't supposed to make Scarlet Witch the villain, but he wanted to write her as the villain, so he did, and thus threw a wrench into the plans of everyone else involved in making the film. Instead of firing him, they just let him do what he wanted.
Yeah, some selfish childish whining about how it wasn't fair that he had to set up Scarlet Witch turning evil so that another film writer got to play with the cool 'evil Scarlet Witch' toy and throwing a tantrum until he was allowed to use the awesome 'evil Scarlet Witch' toy in his own movie. Its what I call Rian Johnson syndrome, when a writer who gets to make a single movie that is part of a larger series whines and demands that they get to just do whatever they want and the rest of the franchise just has to deal with whatever problems and plot holes are caused by the 'cool things' they want to do in their movie. How such people aren't instead immediately fired for refusing to be a team player when brought into a collaborative franchise is beyond me. A lot of the current crop of writers we have are a spoiled rotten bunch that can't imagine having the humility to constrain their 'vision' to fit into the facts already established in an existing franchise and instead insist on writing like they are doing a stand alone project in a brand new IP where they can do anything they want without having to worry about pesky things like 'franchise canon' or 'respecting the writers involved in other projects set in the same franchise'.
@Bob Sagget Hell no, I'll never forgive him for assassinating Luke's character by turning him from a guy who values family so much he tried to redeem his mega space Hitler dad into a guy who was inches away from murdering his nephew in his sleep for giving off bad fucking vibes. Not to mention the film isn't even internally consistent! They make a big huge deal about how the Resistance is stuck and can't escape the First Order tailing them and then.....Finn and Rose just jump into an escape boat and easily get away from this inescapable problem (so easily that the escape is entirely off screened) to go find the macguffin hacker that will let people escape the fleet. So why didn't everyone just jump in the damn escape boats? Not to mention the fact that Holdo spends the entire movie being such an unlikeable bitch it causes a mutiny but then after treating him like shit the whole movie she says she actually likes the cut of Poe's gibb? Then why not just let him in on the damned plan in the first place!? Not to mention the moment where the movie created a plot hole that tore through the entirety of canon by establishing that hyperspace suicide attacks are a fleet killing super weapon that nobody in the history of ever has ever mentioned before. Why wasn't the Confederacy of Independent Systems using droid piloted suicide craft to god stomp the Republic with cheap disposable hyperspace suicide bombers, for instance? No, it was absolutely the thing that killed the sequel trilogy. It left the maker of the 3rd movie with an absolute mess of a situation to work with. The worst part being where it insisted that the entire Resistance was present instead of that just being one single cell of the Resistance and therefore leaving the heroes with a faction that literally just consisted of the Falcon and the people who fit into it. The 3rd movie of a trilogy is not where you spend time having your heroes do faction building exercises and that is why they sensibly included that on the pile of things they had to retcon to even begin to jumble together a workable plot. That JJ Abrams made an even worse hash of it then expected when trying to stitch together a Frankenstein's monster of a plot for the movie doesn't excuse Rian Johnson from killing it and cutting it up into little pieces for the next writer to try and stitch them together into some unholy abomination that resembles a functioning movie.
@Bob Sagget the rian johnson star wars is actually so good,, that it manage to kill the whole IP... an IP that has more years than rain johnson himself! hahaha on what plane of existence are you living boi?
@@mizu7662 Right!? I don't have an issue with Wanda trying to atone and ultimate become a villain, my problem is it shouldn't have happened in a DS film. Thank God Benedict Cumberbatch cared enough to at least try and give Stephen an arc (even if it felt incomplete imo) because Waldron couldn't be bothered. Apparently, in his mind, it was more important he get brownie points for writing evil Wanda first than letting Stephen Strange continuing evolving as a character.
Maslany describes her character as "she just wants to fall in love", but in one of the episodes, when someone says she made love with a guy, she explicitly says "no, we just had sex". Blatant contradiction. She uses sex for love and that's why she's miserable. All of the people involved in this show sound bitter, miserable, and awful.
The funny thing is, She-Hulk ignored one of the primary aspects of Phase 4. It’s supposed to be a multiverse. Why have She-Hulk change her setting when she can move from one universe to another? Then you can have an actual good She-Hulk arrive to reclaim her place in the universe and throw the dark universe Shulk back to her crappy life she made for herself.
Bruce Banner didn't just have to learn how to control Hulk... He also tried to shoot himself and all that happened is that he transformed and Hulk spit out the bullet. Bruce's character progression is light years ahead of Jen's.
She Hulk's Jennifer talks about problems that most women have. But she is such a shitty person and that ruins it for all women that suffer from these problems in real life. Real feminists are not men haters. We want equality and you can't get that by belitteling or mocking someone. Narcicissts and other anti social subjects do that. Men have problems too and we can't expect to get them solved by mocking them or saying the individual man is an evil women hating problem. How can these men haters expect empathy and help from people they fight against??? This show is as anti feminist as it can get.
She Hilk Jennifer is a Narcicisst. She can't be empathic, she is not interested in understanding her cousin. She is not a feminist, she is just a bad self absorbed person. Who runs around like a child, feeling entitled to whatever she wants as soon as the impulse hits the damaged cortex. I really think that antisocial disorders are some kind of brain damage. No normal human being would operate and digest information like that.
These showrunners always run smack-dab into that roadblock of their own creation: a woman can't have character progression because that would mean she wasn't perfect to begin with. They seem to be unable to comprehend that by killing the character flaws that have to be overcome MAKE a character, they effectively kill the whole character as well. Then there's the problem of having to dumb down/reduce the power levels of male characters in order for female characters to shine. Men have to be very weak, so every woman can beat them. They also have to be incredibly stupid, because according to these showrunners women are inherently dumb to begin with. The ultimate irony therefore is that their incompetent attempts to do female empowerment actually degrades not just men, but also the women they're trying to empower.
The most annoying thing they chose to do is make Jen hate being She-Hulk. She loved it so much that when she saved SHIELD from intelligent cockroaches (yes, that really happened) and she lost her ability to change back to Jen form, she had zero problem with it at all.
She does come around to appreciating her normal self later too, though... she ends up meeting a version of herself from an alternate universe whose ONLY claim to fame was being She-Hulk and ends up pitying her because that verion NEEDS to be Hulk to be valuable while Jen knows she's still cool even as a lawyer. It's nice to see someone happy with herself. In this abomination of a show, however, she's always miserable with just about everything.
@@thehale_ Honestly feels that could be the only way to really possibly save this series, is if they have the REAL She-Hulk pop in from another dimension to guide and interact with her during an actual crisis. Of course, even if they somehow have that in mind, I doubt it'd be well written considering the state of the first season, but one can only dream.
That would be interesting. Having She Hulk losing her ability to go back to Jen for a while, so she can actually miss it, and find SOMETHING to like, or improve in Jen, something worth working to get back to her true life. But we don't do interesting here.
Intelligent cockroaches?!? That sounds ridiculous. If you actually followed She-Hulk then you're a moron. Comic book collectors never bothered to collect She-Hulk issues.
I really hate the lies in statements like, "This is the first black hero!" or "This is the first female hero!" or "The first latin hero!" It just proves they know nothing. Chris Claremont wrote the X-men from the 70's to the 90's, and he is extremely well known for creating strong, feminine role models in his books. They were 50% of the cast and often had many moments where they had the spotlight put on them (Jean, Rogue, Storm, Kitty, etc.). That's just the X-Men too - there was Wonder Woman, Carol Danvers, Emma Frost, Susan Storm, Scarlet Witch, Mystique, Wasp, Black Widow, etc.) It's just baffling to me that these writers and producers say these things and only channels like Disparu's actually bother to correct them. The media should correct them if they want to do their job correctly, but they won't.
Back than we had real women. Strong femine women. Great role models for little girls. Now we have angry men hating pseudo feminists. You can't be a strong woman by hating and belitteling men. The real strength is working together and balancing out each others strenth and weaknesses.
They did the same with star trek. Oh look Michael Burnham is a female leader in star trek. We had that with Janeway in the 90s. Well she is a black leader in star trek. We had that in the 90s too with Sisko. But she is a female character who kicks ass. We had that in the 90s with Natasha Yarr and Major Kira. But she is super smart and solves problems. You mean like seven of nine and Jadzia dax, in the 90s. But, but she has inter racial romance. Oh that we had in the 60s. Well we examine topics of personal freedom and social justice. Yes done that since the 60s too. It's like they somehow missed "geek culture" was diverse and inclusionary since the beginning. I am waiting with growing trepidation for modern writers to finally bring a first strong female character to the Alien or Terminator franchises. Oh wait
@@DoddyIshamel Exactly sci fi in particular, decades before these writers. They tackled all these issues but in a way that didnt compromise the stories and in most cases added to them. People never had an issue with all these takes and politics in shows. They used to be good at writing them into shows. They also didnt tell you if the topic was correct or not. They gave you both viewpoints and the watcher made up their mind. The way they talk when making these new shows is baffling. They seem to think before their show entertainment was some weird racial masculine hellscape lol
They have to sell it to the dumb and loud virtue signalling crowd in some way. Reaffirm their biased view of the world and history. Most people get all their information from Wikipedia anyway so as long as everything conforms to the perspective and opinion which is most easily accessible and most frequently parroted then they've accomplished what they set out to do. Thoughtful and careful research of nuanced things has gone far out the window. It's kind of ironic that in an age where information and knowledge is the most easily accessible than it's ever been it feels like we're actually regressing. Of course there is something to be said about how willing people are to defend a position or idea that they are only superficially knowledgeable about. As well as the unwillingness to research and that withholding comment is a option you're allowed to exercise. Frankly there's a lot I could say but I'm not neccesarily well-spoken enough to further attempt putting my jumbled thoughts on the matter in words. Thank you for reading this, I hope you have a wonderful day/night wherever you are. - A fair weather comic fan who's exposure to comics is after Spidey games on PS2 and the various Marvel and DC animated series' of the past as well as the cinematic universes up until 2019.
@@DoddyIshamel exactly. I've noticed that too. Sisko, worf, geordi, guinan, jake, etc. Were all beloved prominent characters in Star Trek when i was growing up. Janeway wasn't even the first female captain or admiral either. I hated the character of michael burnam. They put her at the heart of every scene and in every location on the ship. She was always at the heart to solving the problem in the episode. I hated what they did to Spock to make michael look good. Strange new worlds is actually a lot better. But their handling of Star trek as a whole is awful. They've desecrated Picard and Seven and the values of Star Trek.
Gao has considered herself one of the best writers humanity has ever produced for a long time, in spite of literally zero evidence that this is even vaguely the case.
That's the only value of She-Hulk, it's totally mask off about the types of individual and ideology that're actually driving the awful choices of ALL the current MCU properties. People refuse to engage with exactly how maliciously cancerous it all is.
They obviously were just made to memorize 3 things about She Hulk comics for the press interviews. Switch the team from She Hulk with the team from Rings of Power and see if anyone notices.
My only criticism of his content is that it's always about crapping on something. Note how he did the first episode of House of the Dragon? He crapped all over it...then ignored the rest of the series entirely. Why not make videos saying: "Hey, this show's actually good for once!"
Wait, they actually had a Stunt Double that had the height and proportions for She-Hulk and they didn't just have her in body paint play the character or do a combination and just deep fake Maslany's face onto the Stunt Double.
I’ve got an even better idea just put Maslany in the make up chair and use force perspective in post production to give the illusion that she is 2 meters tall
Oh no, we fell for their cunning trap of calling their dreadful show dreadful. What a clever Brer Rabbit ploy they used on us. How will we ever recover? ... Show's still cr@p BTW.

Well I remember when She-Hulk was first published/invented, and the reason given at the time was not because there weren't enough female superheroes, or that they should have their own books, but because Marvel was worried about other publishers effectively stealing their characters by creating female versions of them and claiming them as their own. If that story has been retconned since then, then so be it.
She-Hulk was created by Stan Lee, who wrote only the first issue, and was the last character he created for Marvel Comics,[9] until his return to comics with Ravage 2099 in 1992. The reason behind the character's creation had to do with the success of The Incredible Hulk (1977-1982) and The Bionic Woman television series, both from Universal Television. Marvel was afraid that the show's executives might suddenly introduce a female version of the Hulk, as producer Kenneth Johnson had already done with The Six Million Dollar Man.[10] So Marvel decided to publish their own version of such a character to make sure that if a similar one showed up in the television series, Marvel would own the rights. - wiki
Supergirl from 1940 was the same thing, they made a reprint comic with her on the cover, registered the copyright and then never used it. To stop rivals. If they had used her they could have gotten sued by Fawcett. All the writers at DC hated the girl versions of characters too and often refused to write and draw their books.
That “stunt-double” SHOULD HAVE BEEN She-Hulk. Seriously. Pull a Lou Ferrigno and do like modern day face map! The Stunt Double Would’ve Been PERFECT. Hell, even if need be upscale her by like 10%. But no. PS2 She-Hulk is all we got.
I'm calling it now, She Hulk will snatch up most of the Emmy and Wakanda forever will blaze through every Oscar category, so brave, so stunning, representation and diversity 😂🤣
i dont think they'll push it this far. They know the ratings for Oscars are down so much its not even proftible for them anymore. Oscars lost 4-5 Million last year what is very telling on its own.
The most exciting thing about her was her breaking the fourth wall... That's a clear example of tell me you understand jackshit about a character without telling me if I ever saw one. My stomach literally turned at he words. They put She Hulk in the hands of these people that couldn't even narrow down one core aspect of her character. I'm so mad I want to cry.
The funny thing about Titania is that the idea of making her a super-powered influencer is, in itself, actually a very good idea of how to "modernize" her. At least if you feel you have to. You really don't because her character would still be just as relatable today, but if you were going to do it that is actually something that makes a lot of sense given her comic back story. In fact you could have just copy-pasted her back story from the comics onto the one in the show (except for how she actually got her powers since Doom doesn't exist in the MCU) and her character would have been totally in line with her origins. You also could have easily explained why she hated Jen as now there is another female super being who is taking the spotlight from her with her big deeds (assuming you actually wrote Jen as a hero who does things, of course). But the writers were too dumb and too useless to use a golden opportunity right before them.
@@imrpovking845 She bursts through the courtroom wall and throws the desk across the room that almost killed the jury. She also belted Jen across the yard in the wedding episode and took a Hulk punch. So she does clearly have super strength and durability. Of course you see so little of her and it's so tangential to anything that actually happens it's understandable you might not have noticed.
@@alzaelnext638 Still she never had a close fight with She-Hulk and always ends up losing badly. Also is she having superpowers said in the show itself? Also why did she start the first fight in the first place?
@@imrpovking845 Yes, they do specifically say that she has superpowers, it's supposed to be what makes her an influencer. As for the first fight, they said in a throwaway line in the next episode that she was breaking out of traffic court to avoid a parking violation. Yes, I know it's stupid.

Oh god, the moment they mentioned the "inertial suit" I was like "ohh so that's why She-Hulk's animation was so BAD". And seriously, if you ever saw anyone using one of those self-contained tracking suits that require no cameras, you know how bad the output is. It's comparable to PS1 animations, the movements are not accurate, legs clip through the floor and all sorts of weird glitches happen. That's why mocap for movies is done in those rooms with dozens of cameras covering every wall and tracking markers covering the actors - those are VERY accurate and track the movements so much better. And even then they require manual cleanup and some fixing from the animators. Now imagine how much cleanup and fixing the inertial suit needs - so no wonder they shot the stunt double for reference - they practically have to rebuild the entire animation from scratch - actually maybe it would be easier to just do it manually from scratch instead of trying to marry the inertial data with the stunt double reference. Or you know, just put the stunt double in the tracking suit cause her proportions are much closer to that of she-hulk and her movements will appear much more natural with less manual cleanup from the animators. And that is a thing - a differently proportioned human will move differently - also a bigger human/character will move slower - now in case of the difference between Jen and She-Hulk it might be miniscule but it could be noticeable. Another thing is that it seems the animators removed some of Tatiana's movements in that clip at 12:26 - so basically they had a solid performance from the actress and butchered it by fixing the performance by removing gestures and expressions. Might just as well throw out the entire performance and let the animators do it all smh. Must feel bad for the actors too when that happens.
This "making of" video feels like watching someone who's really, really enthusiastic to show you their vacation footage from a trip to South Dakota. And the longer it goes on, the more you begin to not only dislike them, but feel like they're demeaning you with their failure to understand how unimportant it is in the relative scale of events in your own life.
Can we start a petition (because those always work, i know...) for Disparu to write season 2? The jokes in this video are way better than the whole season of She-Hulk.
Movies and television are experiencing now what the music industry went through in the 90’s with the invasion of girl power and it didn’t last long all came and went.
The irony is that she is unhappy and miserable because she focuses more on her career than falling in love and starting a family. Then turns around and put her career first every chance. She-Hulk is the pinnacle representation of modern women who will be in their 40s, unmarried, without kids.

to be fair she never mentioned wanting kids or starting a family. It's just clear that because her early stages of life was so focused on her career that she still has desires to live frivolously when she is in her 30s You don't need to have kids to be fulfilled but at the same time it's not like you are going to leave behind much of a legacy as a lawyer taking on cases for celebrity bigots
The only legitimate laughs I got from the series came from Mr. Immortal jumping out the window to escape two screeching harpies. And Dare Devil openly mocking She-Hulks bravado in their first encounter.
The thing that has surprised me is how many people I know, and they are not stupid people, who loved the show (or at least feel the need to make people think they did? ). They say it was just like the John Byrne run and I'm like "Why? Because of the Fourth Wall breaking? Because it takes A LOT more than that to be like the Byrne run". I find it hard to believe than anyone who loved the Character was ok with this show. They took everything that made her a great character and just tossed it in a skip somewhere. The years of Development from Savage She-hulk, to the Avengers, to The Fantastic Four and finally Sensational She-hulk, all of it was just ignored. Ok, they can't do it exactly as it happen because the MCU timeline is a mess because off the things they COULDN'T include, but there is a way of getting all those great character moments on the screen and they couldn't be buggered to even try, and they CLAIM to be fans of the Character???? They ignored everything that made her what they supposedly love to go on about things that irk them in their daily lives. It's ridiculous, and then they decide that they fans are the problem?? Without the fans you don't have a job! F*ck!
THANK YOU! As a She Hulk fan who has read her runs and her initial stints on the Avengers and FF and seen her development I can't believe anyone who read the comics wasn't seriously raising their eyebrows at Jen's characterisation. The MCU timeline and Bruce's status as a beloved hero would necessarily mean some events would have to change for Jen's development so I have some understanding there. With that said the simple most important fact about the character, that she loves being She Hulk and prefers it to Jen, is misinterpreted and twisted into a basic story about accepting yourself. I can forgive changes in adaptation as long as the core of the material is kept. That wasn't the case here, seeing MCU fans saying "I prefer Jen to She-Hulk" or "Jen needs to find someone who loves her for Jen not She-Hulk" feels so wrong. The idea in the finale that Jen really didn't want to use She Hulk to go after intelligencia or whatever is a profound betrayal of the character. Her arc was to learn She Hulk didn't define her but it is a part of her identity (not the most important though). She-Hulk feels too superfluous to Jen in this show and honestly it seems like she didn't benefit from it enough to outweigh the negatives. Ultimately She-Hulk was taken for granted as just being the hotter, stronger version of Jen that isn't actually real. The series doesn't go into the effects and implications of Jen's behavioural changes between forms or the amount of freedom she feels as She Hulk. It's all external and She Hulk is made to just be cosmetic. She-Hulk originally being feared and Jen having to re-define herself through her actions as it was done in the comics would have been more compelling and actually more feminist imo
Absolutely agree! Had it not been for these steaming piles of vapid horseshit, I would never have learned of Disparu! So, if nothing more, I thank you, Hollywood, for this inadvertent gift! Is it irony if the industry who's sole reason for existence is to entertain the public only achieves this by being hilariously criticized for NOT providing it? I've never fully grasped irony and I blame Alanis Morissett for this shortcoming.
So many women in the crew. I'm sure they have a support group where they hug each other crying, with positive affirmations such as "we are talented", "we need to take what's ours"
I am so glad that those back the scenes show how the showrunner didn't understand anything at all of she hulk. The fact that miss gao admited that she pitched a black widow show disguised as a she hulk show is just so funny
This title is perfect. Watching what these people have been obsessed with and what they chose to focus on, does indeed explain everything. No wonder the show turned out the way it did.
It would’ve been fun to tell a story of a civilian getting super powers. Some people aren’t fighters, they don’t have that special thing hero’s have. Maybe they’re not brave, or smart, or strong. But having a show where Jen grew into a hero. Maybe not one of the big hitters like Thor, but an everyday hero. But they completely fumbled this
As a 5 foot woman myself, I can confirm the top shelf of a fridge is unknown territory. I also can't reach the floor with my feet when sitting on a chair and get a fear of heights as soon as I climb in bed. WHAT EVEN IS THIS TEAM?! x)
I know how much Jessica Gao hates trolls. Once upon a time she made an episode of a show with a joke so terrible that she was bullied on the internet for the next two years, eventually circulating back to being funny. That joke...was Pickle Rick.
2:56 One word. Deadpool. I rest my case. That lad is nothing but 4th wall references, packed into a duality complex, locked up in a box of enigma that only Ryan Reynolds could unlock and tap on screen. Reminds me of his earlier work as Hannibal King in Blade Trinity. Now, where did I leave that night-stalker decoder ring..
It's apart of his character within a story. The shehulk team present it as a major part of her character. It's also about implementation. Deadpool uses his forth wall as mostly comic relief. She hulk uses it as a way to add more poor jokes. I'm a writer and I'm telling you, anything can be amazing with a good writer. She hulk could have been a masterpiece. The failure is all on the writers.
Just think for a second as to how ridiculous that saw room was. It is hard to imagine that Professor Hulk would spend a week or more building a device that served no other purpose than scaring Jennifer Walters so much that she turned into She Hulk. Actually when I saw that room for the first time what immediately come to mind is movie "Saw". Could it really be that Bruce Banner is really an insane serial killer?
This was very informative! Here is what I heard: 2032 "Where they [She-Hulk & Hulk Hulk] are competing throwing boogers." 2806 "You gotta go home to your old childhood friend sweating." Jessica Gao is disturbing. She has "joked" about burning down the studio if she doesn't get her way, about bullying her boss, and about "burying" a "dude." this is not normal. Thank you for the video!
Oh I miss Deus Ex; the original was such a good game, really good story, missions, levelling system and options for how to complete said missions. Damn, we don't get games that good, that often.
I usually don't comment twice but...the hair was complicated? If I remember right, the Aquaman video game almost 2 DECADES ago was known ONLY for doing the golden mullet right. If it was such a problem, CGI your stunt double's head onTatiana's body Steve Rogers Style and then have her take over after transformation. DONE. Leave her bigger to show imperfect after effects due to the different means of transformation to add creative license.
Re Gao having a fiance- yes indeed, he works for Marvel. So naturally one might wonder if that had to do with her getting the job. As for your aside that Kat Coiro's husband should write the show- actually, maybe he should! He appeared in the 4th ep as the magician that made a portal, the guy you thought made the show's only funny joke up to then ("I also...have a bird!").
17:36 Wow, I can't believe they allowed Mark to say what everyone else said since that infamous scene from episode 1. Were they not paying attention to what was being said, or are they just letting him say this as a dig against the fans?
"My dirty little fingers" ...You mean sausage fingers, right? I honestly think this was nothing but Gao the cow's 🐄 self-insert revenge fantasy using Shulkie as her avatar and characters like her male coworkers and villains like Titania standing in for people she feels wronged her somehow...
29:00 I can tell you why the bride is the bad guy: because the show is about She-Hulk, and since she is not the center of attention, that makes her finished in her empowerment. And if I'm completely honest, I've met way too many women with this main character syndrome view of the world. "if you don't acknowledge me, you are against me".
I have literally never watched She-Hulk at all still don't know why I end up watching every one of these reviews you have done LOL I guess I wanted She-Hulk to be good since she was one of my favorites as a child but you have told me all I need to know and it's hilarious
Y'all I'm just happy for Josh Segarra. That dude seemed so genuinely happy to be there. I hope he gets more work after this show, I don't think he's a marvel fan so much as he's an actor who's finally making Disney money and I hope he gets more of it.
This is a clearly vanity project for the overprivelaged...I love how during the interviews they just state super generic things they like about the character/comic...like "breaks 4th wall, and very strong" no reference to anything specific
"You strike me as a very comedic person yourself." That's exactly why i carry on watching your videos, the sarcasm and wit. I bet Jessica doesn't even understand that kind of humour.
It looks like everyone who was on set/location really didn't want to be there, but the writers looked entirely happy with what they did. I wonder if it's because the cast and crew could see the monstrosity they were making, but the writers only had the version of the script in their head that sounded like a good idea until someone said the lines out loud.
Gotta love how none of them showed any love or respect for the source material, outside of the one girl saying her husband has comics in his moms basement and the other saying “she hulk” is the strongest woman in comic history.
10:45 the effect is just called retro reflectivity. Essentially reflect where it came from loosely translated. It is the same "technology" as all the traffic sign, they look like they light up when you shine a light on them, but they just reflect the light back where the light source is. If you would call them anything else, that would just hide what they do.
17:42 I think this is why shows like She Hulk fail. To them there is no difference between the journey that the two characters went through. The Hulk has to bleed and suffer to get to where he is while Jen gets everything handed to her on a plate and actually turns out to be a superior version of the Hulk. The creative team looked at these two characters and considered them identical. Then can't figure out why they aren't equally beloved.
I really hope Az watches this. Great outlook of this peace of crap , never watched 1 episode, but your shows give me great entertainment. Thank you very much Disparu.

Featuring cast interviews, writers thoughts, sets, and cut scenes you quickly come to realise just how everything happened. "I wonder if that's the reason Doctor Strange wasn't a Doctor Strange movie."
It turns out yes.
@@mizu7662 Didn't that also happen with Thor: Love and Thunder and Taika too?
@Bob Sagget the rian johnson star wars is actually so good,, that it manage to kill the whole IP... an IP that has more years than rain johnson himself! hahaha

"A show that's easy to make is hard to watch." ~ Bruce Campbell
You're telling me Jack of All Trades wasn't an easy show to make?
Well, Since I have lived my life by the premise that Bruce is always right , this tracks.
This show is as anti feminist as it can get.
my character knows what Hulk goes through. Hulk does go through more pain and suffering than my character, but he can understand Bruce's pain
Nah, Jen suffers infinitely more than Bruce though, didn't you watch the series??
Fucking. Christ.
@@HerculesBallsInc So what you’re saying is that she met the MCU’s She-Hulk lmao

- wiki

I like how, for the writers, "having a big heart" can only equal to falling in love (and even that isn't love, it' sexual attraction)

You don't need to have kids to be fulfilled but at the same time it's not like you are going to leave behind much of a legacy as a lawyer taking on cases for celebrity bigots
The only legitimate laughs I got from the series came from Mr. Immortal jumping out the window to escape two screeching harpies. And Dare Devil openly mocking She-Hulks bravado in their first encounter.
I did laugh at the air horn gag and as well as Jenny flipping Professor hulk off as she was plummeting off the cliff during the training montage
I hope you get a season 2 out of this, Disparu. I mean they... I hope they get a season 2.....
So if Disney just would let her go when she threatened to leave we could have had a good She-Hulk show? Sad.
She would be replaced with someone sharing a similar mindset. These people aren't hired because they'll make something good anymore.
@@sianais sadly you are correct. Im too optimistic
F*ck!
Most people like it because it makes the right people mad. Only few are honest enough to admit it.
"What are we gonna do if we can't see She-Hulk's pelvis? That's where all the action happens!"
🤣🤣🤣
It’s sad when actors try to lie & even they can’t make it look believable!!
I agree and i respect the ones who called the creators out.
The only good thing that came out of Shehulk and Rings of Power is discovering your channel bro
WHAT EVEN IS THIS TEAM?! x)
😂
I know how much Jessica Gao hates trolls. Once upon a time she made an episode of a show with a joke so terrible that she was bullied on the internet for the next two years, eventually circulating back to being funny.
That joke...was Pickle Rick.
A part 2? Oh, Hell Yes! This has brought the biggest smile to my face all week😁
She-Hulk never disappoints when it comes to disappointment.
you don't need to say that again, but you absolutely will if there's another video on this
This comment never gets old until it gets old.
Was looking for this comment 😂
And she have to wear that "support trans future" shirt.
So stunning and brave. So unpredictable.
Rolling my eyes.
Might as well say "Drug and mutilate boys"
Remember they think "Young Adults "are anyone who is under 50 who exclusively reads childrens' fiction novels.
How does somebody would have fiance write Jen as a character? That's like getting away with murder
Getting away
Getting away
With murder
I mean… I almost died laughing. This guy is a genius, he should have written She Hulk :))
I want to play a game.
If there's a season 2, I hope they make Disparu the main villain. Think of the mayhem!
Everyone would be rooting for the villain.
This was very informative! Here is what I heard:
2032 "Where they [She-Hulk & Hulk Hulk] are competing throwing boogers."
2806 "You gotta go home to your old childhood friend sweating."
Jessica Gao is disturbing.
Salad (dodger) fingers.
Fun isn't something one considers when thinking about She Hulk, but this does put a smile on my face
That Frosk clip with you saying "Hollywood" over it was comedic gold. Haven't laughed like that in ages.
I have literally never watched She-Hulk at all still don't know why I end up watching every one of these reviews you have done LOL I guess I wanted She-Hulk to be good since she was one of my favorites as a child but you have told me all I need to know and it's hilarious
I actually love this review way more than the show keep them coming!!!
Hahahah. That “sexism in Hollywood” but really got me. Well played.
Y'all I'm just happy for Josh Segarra. That dude seemed so genuinely happy to be there. I hope he gets more work after this show, I don't think he's a marvel fan so much as he's an actor who's finally making Disney money and I hope he gets more of it.
This behind the scenes was so much more entertaining than the actual show. Wtf are these people thinking?
And that's not even saying much
It’s like Love & Thunder where the joke used was anyone who thought of said joke per scene! Taika even says “we didn’t want to go overboard” lol
0:40 She says "If you ever do douchey Hulk". That's a more appropriate name, maybe that's what they should have called the show.
Memo to Jessica Gao's "finace": Run. Run fast, run hard, run silent, run deep, the operative word being RUN
You’re 1000x funnier than this show. I know that doesn’t sound like a compliment but it definitely is :) Can’t wait for your videos each week
This is the most entertainment I get from She-Hulk
Oh this is Masterful Disparu.
Incredible content and editing.
A masterpiece.
You've become one of the best reviewers, love the clip 'Don't send this clip to Az' got me properly laughing. Look forward to Pt.2
Jessica Gao really let that pickle Rick episode go to her head 😂😂😂😅
Gotta love how none of them showed any love or respect for the source material, outside of the one girl saying her husband has comics in his moms basement and the other saying “she hulk” is the strongest woman in comic history.
10:45 the effect is just called retro reflectivity. Essentially reflect where it came from loosely translated. It is the same "technology" as all the traffic sign, they look like they light up when you shine a light on them, but they just reflect the light back where the light source is.
If you would call them anything else, that would just hide what they do.
Would be more fun if they just called them "shiny balls."
Holy crap.
The interview clip with the actress that played the bride in the wedding episode was funnier than just about anything in the entire series.
Fun stuff as always, waiting for part 2
6:50 Huh, I don't remember that part of the line. They had their hero say she hopes a group of people die in a fire. Good job!
Lol I'm glad Disparu doesn't get enough of taking this show apart. They deserve it.
Dang, Mark Ruffalo even Mark Ruffalo'ed behind-the-scenes footage.
I really hope Az watches this. Great outlook of this peace of crap , never watched 1 episode, but your shows give me great entertainment. Thank you very much Disparu.
Mark Ruffalo: "You do comedy really well! 😀"
Tatiana: "...but I was trying to be dramatic... 😢"
Edit: Tatiana's arms are almost as big around as Mark's. Spaghetti arms! 😱
Thanks!
Rest In Peace Kevin Conroy
It breaks my heart for us to lose the one true Batman
Yes exactly r.i.p. to a legend.
Dude I really enjoyed you doing a hot take on this and not watching it ahead time 🤣 You had me busting out laughing the whole time thanks brother 👍
-Dan
If the writers were fans of She Hulk they wouldn't have assassinated her character like they did. They turned She Hulk and Jen Walters into a villain for Christ's sake. She's a truly despicable character.
I love it when She Hulk in the show said it’s She Hulking time and went to go find my manager
Melissa Mcarthy would fit right in with these people.
27:40 damn it Disparu, I was not ready for that joke XD
I feel bad for Josh Segarra. He played an awesome villain in the Arrow Verse to deserve this. =(
I"m 6'5", you want to know what's on top of the fridge? Dust.
I am 5"1 and I appreciate pretty nostrils.
My fridge has way too many empty coffee containers on top of it.
I love you snark and edits so much, Disparu!
Gao seems to be somewhat psycopathic... and proud of it.
This review is infinitely funnier than show itself 10/10
Would watch again
The best part of She-Hulk was I found this channel.
