Correct me if I am wrong: I see no provision for a vertical mount for tripod or a second shutter release for vertical use. I am happy that someone designed a unit for the R7 but this seems aimed mostly at video shooters who only do horizontal format. I shoot photos.
The grip is attached as e every other battery grip on the market - with a 1/4 inch thread tripod screw. Please check our online store for more info about the product: www.custombatterygrips.com/store/product/battery-grip-for-canon-eos-r7
Thank you for the reply to show me the product do you offer one with a vertical shutter button Having the Sugar button is the most important part do you offer one these with one .
In the set you get dummy battery and battery tray for two 18650 batteries. The dummy battery is inserted into the camera battery compartment. Dummy battery has a wire that connects to the battery tray.
@@custombatterygrips That was not the question. The question whas i cant see how the connection take place inside the holder. ofcourse i see that the wire go's in to the holder but i do not see the connection of the wire. Thank tou.
You can check our online store for all parts that are provided. You can check how the wire and connection looks. www.custombatterygrips.com/store/product/battery-grip-for-canon-eos-r7

You're mostly right. The purpose of our grips is to add extended battery life with affordable batteries.
In Order to have longer duration, will you consider to use 21700 battery with 5000mAh instead of 18650?
We think that 18650 is the best balance between size and capacity. We we're thinking about making a grip with four 18650 but two are plenty enough.
Can you please show us how this vertical grip is attached and the battery source and also does it have a vertical shutter button .
