It is deeply sad to hear about his passing. Brad was the first person who introduced me to relaxation sounds other than the CDs I saw sold in stores. We communicated a few times and his knowledge of sound therapy was extraordinary. Ever since, after listening to other relaxation videos, I still think that Brad's work remains above most. He went to incredible lengths to obtain his recordings. He didn't believe in looping the sounds or visuals so all of the audio/visual he recorded were the real deal... never looped. Because of his own suffering with tinnitus, Brad, truly was able to help others as he had unique insight into how sounds work, and their effect on the brain. RIP, Brad. You have been and always will be greatly missed.
no way he passed away... Thats so sad i used to listen to his vids all the time when i was 7. im now 13 and i had been sleeping better because of his videos :( RIP brad.

Aww this is hard to know. I just discovered him as I googled - hour long rain, wind and thunder sounds and ended up here. Does looping mean, to repeat a non live sound, over and over please? Plus, I wish you a belated happy New Year. It is 6.45 am on this 9th of January 2022. I hope that Brad, is in a better place than Covid infected earth. Xx

Looping means to take any sound bite, real or unreal, and repeat it.
So for Brads 8 hours of rain, its an actual 8 hours.

So sad that Brad passed away early last year (feb, 2018) . his were the very first nature videos that i discovered . i immediately became a huge fan of his, and that led me to other videos, including asmr . i don't know how i could get through the rest of my life without nature and asmr videos to pull away all the stress and negativity, and send me to a place where i really don't want to come back from . wherever Brad went after he passed, if indeed anywhere, i hope that it's a place that's wonderful and where dreams come true . Thank You Brad.
How did he die? I'm sad too, the same reason he was the first one that caught my attention to help me with my sleep problems. R.I.P :(

I have suffered from TInitus for about 5 years now, your videos are a life saver for me, Thank You !!! These, you have no idea, what they means to me, I prefer to sleep near my PC on a hard floor while listening to this than going up to my bedroom and sleep on a comfortable bed. Merci !!!!

I am sadden to know that he has passed away. I returned to his video after reading something that someone else had posted on another rain relaxation video. And it reminded me of something that I had posted on Brad's video and his response back. I especially loved his video where the location is supposed to be a haunted castle and the popup effects.
I experimented a bit with this one by separating the wind and the rain on left/right speakers. Enjoy!
could you maybe make a new train sound, this time with a steam locomotive and maybe more things happening around? like another train passing by or driving through a tunnel and these nice train whistles. The train in the rain sound was already awesome and pretty well made!
I might make a new one soon... I was thinking about a steam train in the old west.

I developed tinnitus about 7 years ago in my 20's and have fallen asleep to Brad's tracks every night since on a 1st generation ipod nano. The ipod no longer holds it charge and I'm getting a replacement for Christmas. Would love of there was a link to download some of the tracks, happy to pay for them again.

As a child i had to wait everynight on a drain waiting to be let in the house. I sleep for years from 9 untill i was 15 all months of the year. I hated the frost because it was so quiet and i didnt want my neigbours knowing i was there, embarrassed so i would sit untill 11pm some nights gone 12 and not move a muscle but when it rained i would put my parker coat over my head and the sound of the rain would help me sleep and now in this modern day i find listerning to the rain and wind helps me sleep deep again, Thankyou for how ever puts these sounds on u tube it truly helps me sleep.

The sounds of a fridge or boiler are quite relaxing to me. You may have to find some old ones though, as newer ones tend to be a bit quieter...

There is something not working, The wind is a strong wind but the rain is like a small brook. Two hours isn't long enough . I love the one you did of wind for eight hours . I listen to it and within 20 minutes I'm asleep .

I listen to these with headphones with my fan on nearby. you think you could actually layer these audio so that it mimics a fan blasting in the middle of a storm? just an idea. and thank you for these, it's a lot better then ocean sounds and bianural tracks.
