This takes me back to when I was a child with my brother, sister, mom and stepdad going camping. We would sit in our tent when it rained and it sounded just like this. Takes me back to a happier simpler time in this world. God I miss my mom😓

Funny... As I was starting to listen to these comforting sounds a few minutes ago, I was also remembering my mom with nostalgia... I miss her so very much since she left us in 2021. She was almost 101 years old! Still, we are never ready to lose a parent. I know that I will always miss my mom and my dad.
This is exactly how I remember my childhood days (nights). I used to sleep with this beautiful and comforting sound. It gave me a safety feeling of being inside my family’s home, with my parents and siblings, while I fell asleep with the sound of a torrential rain falling on the zinc roof. I love rain and thunder.

I love that your vids are real, not just sound effect composites. So many rain videos sound like a garden hose or shower.
I'm happy you like my videos and thank you for always watching them. It's quite challenging to record a good rain sound. I like so much to go around the forest in rain and try to capture different sounds, I've spent last few days in forest with rain and wind and from many clips that I recorded there are maybe 2 or 3 useful.

Not only does this calm my anxiety but as a new mother, it's hard to get my baby to sleep. He likes to watch the trees and loves the sounds of the rain just like his dad and I. I love this video. It reminds me of a time when I was just a kid. We lived in the country & when it rained liked this I’d go out on the old screened in porch, set in the rocking chair, wrapped in a blanket & watch the tree limbs bounce from the breeze & raindrops. I came to see this video because I heard that the great Japanese musician Ryuichi Sakamoto used to play it incessantly when he didn't have the energy to listen to music. I felt again that the sound of the rain, which is not too strong but very gentle, leads people to peace. Thank you.

Yes the rain is tricky to film and also to record the audio, especially in heavy rain + wind. That's what makes it much more interesting for me, the satisfaction of getting a good video is that much bigger.

I grew up 2 short blocks from the ocean & I would listen to the waves crashing on the jetties as the ferocious wind howled, the trees' branches swayed as it rained all while the salty air & chill filled me. It was so peaceful listening to mother nature.

Reminded me when I was in the village, we lived in tiny home in the middle of coconut plantation without neighbors nor electricity.
We used oil lamp from sardine's cane.
I can feel it not if I close my eyes.
Suddenly I found the completely dark, raining sound, wind, cold.
And I smell my mother's body sense.
