Late at night,I listen to these sounds and only then fully appreciate having a warm bed,a roof over my head and the security of them both, the following day..I was homeless,( many years ago now) and I believe only when you've been in that situation,do you truly appreciate so many things about having a 'home' that so many overlook..🤔, Wonderful clip..Thank you for sharing..
This is exactly how I remember my childhood days (nights). I used to sleep with this beautiful and comforting sound. It gave me a safety feeling of being inside my family’s home, with my parents and siblings, while I fell asleep with the sound of a torrential rain falling on the zinc roof. I love rain and thunder.
When you can’t go outside and enjoy nature or feel the breeze. So you sit inside with a fan blowing on you and wrapped in a blanket and this playing. Almost as good. Thank you. Helps with my anxiety

I like so much to go around the forest in rain and try to capture different sounds, I've spent last few days in forest with rain and wind and from many clips that I recorded there are maybe 2 or 3 useful.
Not only does this calm my anxiety but as a new mother, it's hard to get my baby to sleep. He likes to watch the trees and loves the sounds of the rain just like his dad and I. Yes the rain is tricky to film and also to record the audio, especially in heavy rain + wind. That's what makes it much more interesting for me, the satisfaction of getting a good video is that much bigger.
This video takes me back to another time in my. life. I grew up 2 short blocks from the ocean & I would listen to the waves crashing on the jetties as the ferocious wind howled, the trees' branches swayed as it rained all while the salty air & chill filled me.
