+Brad McBride When I read you were addicted to ambien.....well, I was also addicted to a number of prescribed opiates for chronic back pain. only to be taken off very abruptly leaving me up all night with with drawls..... It left me exhausted and unable to function. I am currently off the pills thanks to rehab. Your videos have been my comfort. Every night when I get home from work, the first thing I do is turn them on and sink into bed.....and sleep! Aaahhh sleep. THANK YOU!.......

This is so soothing & wonderful!! I usually find thunder sounds too much, especially since I have chronic head pain ( you sure don't want bright lights or loud noises when your head is killing you!). But it was fine in this one. I LOVED the ducks/geese flying over - haven't heard that before on any other video. Takes me back to when the Sandhill Cranes would fly over our farm every Fall!! 😊. But the best part is how there is an ebb & flow of not only the lake water, but the building up & beginning of the storm. Most videos just start you off - Bam!! - right in the middle of the rain. But this one is brilliant b/c it incorporates a natural progression to recession & back again to repeat the natural cycle ,& rhythm of a storm.

just hearing the very beginning of these now makes me relax and want to go to sleep. love love love them and where i used to dread going to bed at night, knowing that i would toss and turn and look at the clock all night and stress and get anxiety.. i now look forward to it because i have my wonderful rain and thunder sounds from your site and i fall asleep so fast. they play all night my cats love them too and sleep really well. thanks so much!! you saved me!
I'm glad they help. The idea behind my sounds is to induce visualization of the scene. I find it help me to fall asleep. As it turns out, we dream and we visualize in the the same area of our brain. Oh, and cats like 'em, too :)
yes i always picture being there. either being outside in a tent with the rain on a tent one or in bed with big, fluffy comforters with the window cracked just enough so i can hear (i do that all the time). it's not hard to visualize with your recordings. like one guy said, he had to pause and look out the window. it's definitely like being right there and now i can "be right there" anytime i want and not have to wait until a great thunder storm comes to get a great sleep. to me it's like being in heaven.
A virtual cool and rainy day is better than nothing!

It's so hot and humid in London at the moment I have this on in the background.
VERY NICE. IF I COULD MAKE A REQUEST IT WOULD BE FOR WHIPPOR WHILL BIRD SOUND, THEY ONLY TRILL AT NIGHT AND, SPRING FROG CHORUS OF VARIOUS KINDS PERHAPS. NOT EVERY ONE LIKES TO SLEEP BY THEIR SONG BUT LIKE MYSELF MANY DO. SINCE THEY ONLY CHORUS IN THE SPRING WE HAVE TO WAIT A WHOLE YEAR BEFORE WE HEAR IT AGAIN. YOUR RECORDING IS SO PURE.
