I must say its pretty cool using ww1 era weponry in a modern setting, some of the automatic guns from back then where so different looking than now so even though theres only like 2 or 3 here it helps spice up the veriety

if you look on the mg42 the ammo belt is full of spent ammo when you look at the primer on the bullet it is pushed in meaning a firing pin has hit the casing already.
@@M4zed_x I mean, yes on the absolute basest level, but the mere act of shooting a pistol wears components just as much as using the slide stop. It’s there for a reason, there is no reason not to use it if your pistol is in spec. My guess if that it’s just more visually interesting to watch the character manually rack the slide.
@@geoechidnayeah, Probably just preference, but personally ive always been able to reload faster using the slide release than racking the slide. Feels safer to me too Because when I was purposely trying to rack the slide as fast as possible to try and compete with using the slide release, I got a failure to feed.
How can the reloads in facrcry 4 be better? Who remembers how sick it was to reload the AK in farcry 4. Hands down with the moutan of games I've played farcry 4 has the single best AK put in any game ever. The sounds smack, the gun looks sharp pretty and detailed, and the reload is so smooth and to the point. I can hear that gun in my dreams. It gave me immersion ive never had before. especially hunting Yetis with it.
Not gonna lie, I really like the selection in this game but... The issue is the weapon level system. I have no idea why they started doing that in first place. It sucks, it doesn't make sense and it causes a lot of balance issues. I get it that they wanted to go with something different for the New Dawn but the difference is that it did somewhat fit there, it doesn't fit here at all. Like why does a dude with two stars above his head can withstand a .308 Lapua bullet into his football of a head just because the gun is level one... Doesn't make sense at all to me. I am REALLY hoping that this thing won't be present in FC7. Please, UbiSoft, this isn't a way, a bullet's a bullet and it will one-shot a person into head no matter if it's 9x19 or a fucking .50 BMG.
Honestly kinda true, but the dude with two stars on his head, probably has armor, and you would most likely need to use armor piercing, I can kill those enemy types easily but their resistances are bs and that makes them bullet spongey when using the wrong type of ammo against them
@@godofsin4604 In reality however, roughly 99% of the helmets cannot really stop the bullet, especially ones like .308 Lapua which has some good power. Armour doesn't last very long against bullets, especially the bigger arms like assault rifles or shotguns. So either the firearms on lower levels shoot literal airsoft balls / paintball balls or they have some like... magical armour that cannot be pierced with 1st level 308. Lapua but can be pierced with 2nd level 9mm. Makes you think, huh?

I’ve seen people perform that reload in real life it’s due to the rimmed cartridges. If you don’t angle the round up like that there is the chance of the rim of that cartridge will overlap the one below it and jam the gun up
are you referring to the current one like MW19 and MWII? From what I've heard why vector isn't the same as the real life counterpart is that it has something to do with Activision not wanting to reach out to the company that made vector
I never understood why some games have like 10 different pistols. Like, be simple. Single-fire pistol, rapid-fire pistol, heavy pistol, revolver. Is all you need. We don’t need 4 different pistols that serve the same function.

I want more visible diversity in the pistols, like “this pistol fires like an SMG, making it great for spray-and-pray situations, and this pistol fires heavy rounds that’s good for dealing large amounts of fire to a single target” rather than “this pistol is slightly smaller than a normal pistol, and this pistol does the exact same thing as the one before but with a 0.05-second faster reload.”

the slide release tends to break or wear down the pistol more. maybe the protagonist prefers doing that.
