I like the fact that the animations are like those of a person with proper military training and they are not overexaggerated. The sounds are also very realistic. Only a remark about the AKM-74 animation, I would like something more simple like 2:18

I love the names of guns here, they're pretty much the same as the original weapons, just worded differently. Or the examples like G36 and H416 basically changeding the number and letters a bit to not get copyrighted

I don't think it's a nod. The MP5 NEEDS to be purpusefully wrong. Heckler und Koch copyrighted the MP5's front sight, lower receiver and even the fucking magazine if I remember correctly. If they want to avoid paying an exhorbitably high quantity to cartel-armouring germans, they gotta change those things. The straight mag could be the one of the MP5/10's 10mm rounds tho

Those weapons are great, but it's sad that we don't have the iconic weapons from previous games like the IL-86, AC-96, LR-300, TRs 301, etc. Gun mods wont do anything as modders will just grab guns and anims from other games and it will not fit the game. Hope GSC adds some weapons when multiplayer releases

Throwing away rare empty magazines from weapons like the Bison-19 is just idiotic. Magazines for such weapons are more difficult to find than ammo. And even more so in the conditions of the zone. It destroys the atmosphere.
It's the SIRCAA research institute, which is kept in a good shape since it's a new institute built inside the zone that's actively being used by the government

Some ipsf soldiers drop VSS and SVD, at least at the south wall base near the beginning. There is also a bandit sniper east of the north lesser zone exit.
Random bandits can drop GP36, especially on kordon, buket is dropped by bandits on garbage, and despite looking like dinky lil shit, it does more dmg and has better penetration than ak or 416, while weighing 1.6 kilos and using dirt as ammo. 2 well placed mags of AP rounds will take down a sucker on veteran

I kinda wish they didnt chuck the mags away, i know its not like tarkov where you have to repack mags, but given the setting i thought they would keep em. Overall alot of them are good but im no expert 😂.

It's baffling how the character arbitrarily decides which mags should go fuck themselves on the ground and which he'll actually keep. Are SVD mags somehow exponentially more expensive than Malyuk's?
It could be a balancing thing, they want to give those guns slower reloads, so instead of making the guns look cartoonishly heavy, or make the character cartoonishly slow, make the guy perform naturally slower actions.
@eddiesix27 Operators reload like they're on 6 bags worth of coke, these are a lot better just because these are actually how the average soldier would reload (Skif is ex-military)
Post 2019 FPS game have an original AK reload that isn't just copying Modern Warfare challenge (Impossible) Edit: Okay to be fair that's my only complaint. Otherwise these are pretty good animations.

Not having tactical reloads or saving ammo/magazines is such a turn off, especially in a game where "saving" ammo is mandatory, not demonstrating this in the reloading sucks.
Mag retention reloads are super generic now. Almost every single game on the planet does mag retention reload animations. I think it's a breath of fresh air that they don't do mag retention
@OperadorVanta The entire gunplay in Stalker is about picking your fights and conserving ammo, reload animations where you drop mags with ammo break up that narrative and immersion, making the gunplay feel like it's straight out of an arcade shooter.

The animation is so smooth AF, it reminds me of Tarkov at least they didn't copy MW2019 style and have their own identity animation
