Mine is doing the SAME EXACT NOISE! repair guys are saying its the "transmission" GE Charging 800 for it and side hussle repairman said transmission and walked out didn't try to fix it smh lol
This is a problem that could have been caused by damage that incurred when moving the washer. If a hand truck is used improperly, it can bend the bottom tray upward when lifting the unit, causing the problem you show here.

Replace the suspension rods, hotpoint and Ge are notorious for the bottom coming up and contacting the belt wheel,

Well, before you spend any money, take off the front panel and look if it does the same as mine. Easy fix!
rip offs yeah i step on the bottom part to flat it while you tilting back get a 2x4 wood and let it rest under the front part
