The Grand Seiko Heritage Collection SBGP001 is encased in 40mm of stainless steel surrounding a silvery/champagne dial on a stainless steel bracelet. Features of this Grand Seiko Heritage Collection include hours, minutes, seconds and date. This Grand Seiko watch also measures 11.3mm in thickness and 46.1mm from lug-to-lug.

The black dial version of this watch is PERFECTION. I absolutely love the 44GS case
This is the nicest champagne dial you’ll ever see and the manual finishing is incredible
One thing to mention is this 9F85 movement has the jumping hour hand rather than a quick set date much like the Omega Movements and excellent for travelling between time zones
Never thought I’d yearn for a Quartz watch like I do for this.

Also not just a time date complication as the 9F85 is also a GS first Jump hour quartz that does so without hacking the seconds making for a great travel companion.
Love that 44GS case design. One of the most handsome out there. Dial is Champagne gold? Looks like a conventional silver here.
I have the 2017 model of this watch , its champagne and in lighting looks silver and low lighting looks gold.
Grand Seiko's are just sharp.

beautiful watch. I think this is the 9F85 watch I'd go for.
I have a 19.5 cm wrist and wouldn’t want that gs44 case to be any bigger on my wrist so I wouldn’t advice at all to get this watch with smaller wrists and stick to the 37 especially when you have 13-14cm wrists

Just to clarify: the samurai sword comment is directed towards the HOUR AND MINUTE hands, not the zaratsu polishing.
You make macro shots of beautiful and expensive items such as luxury watches. But you can't get a $100 manicure? I'm not even talking about the fact that it's unpleasant to watch ... but THIS one gets into the same frame with such impeccable things. You can always wear gloves as a last resort....
Are you sure about the model number? I have an identically-looking model but it has the number 009G - however, the second hand is a different colour.

Nice watch. But the movement is by now outdated. Longings VHP is much better and more accurate. Plus it’s cheaper.

@@watch_beginer2056 yes I agree on that. Citizen A660 is better option. It’s as good as Longines VHP and superior to Grand Seiko movement. Aesthetically The Citizen line is very similar to Grand Seiko.

If only it had lume, it would be the perfect watch.
Really doesn’t need lume, you can see those highly polished hands in really low light, they pick up every last ray of light. But if lume is your thing, they do sports watches with lume.
