Especially hard if you never brought a male party member to fight rocbouqet beforehand and now you have to deal with her constant infatuation during the fight. If it's even half as good as the original, it'll definitely be one to watch out for (Please give SaGa Frontier the same treatment, Iknow the remaster is fairly recent but do it for Riki)
It's interesting that the trailer for the demo is one that shows glimpses of the Seven Heroes from when they were human. The designs of the Last Emperor/Empress? I understand since in the demo you choose which one you go with at the start of it. But I would've expected the glimpses of the seven heroes human days to be saved for the launch trailer since it's something new to the remake.

High variance between games, sometimes random. If you dig into it, Romancing SaGa series paints over the fantasy elements with themes of individualism vs collective, intuition/passion in the face of brutality, and of course, the greater good. It's as broad and complex as the romantic movement itself, and fits the translation of "Romancing" so long as you are willing to play long enough.

I just beat the demo a few mins ago I have never played a saga game before, but I am HOOKED I love the artstyle and smooth RPG mechanics definitely a day 1 purchase right after mario party.
Yeah it performed pretty well on switch. Neat graphics/acting, maybe 1:50 touch up a little on cutscene animations/loading but it doesn't feel like a joke such as batman/hogwarts. Glad the battles/rooms load instantly vut booting or going to wholly new areas takes a bit of time, and even then I've seen games with more than 20 seconds (airheart/warborn are a min). 1:19 yay harpies lady isn't covered up. 2:04 neat character designs without the diversity speeches.

Yeah it’s kind of weird to me, given how often I saw complaints about “oh nintendo loves to release new consoles after 5 years and make the old one obsolete to make you pay more money” all the time, and suddenly the switch 2 is teased and everyone wants to hear about it. Gamers just love complaining. I live in peaceful harmony waiting patiently for everything and not getting mad at release bugs because I know how that goes and being okay with delayed release dates because I want things to be good instead of rushed. Which even if you like Nintendo you cant deny thats extremely scummy, and sets really toxic and easily abusable precedents in the gaming industry, and such a practice would be shunned in every other use case. Which even if you like Nintendo you cant deny thats extremely scummy, and sets really toxic and easily abusable precedents in the gaming industry, and such a practice would be shunned in every other use case. As it opens the door to making patents/legal arguments around things retroactively that are already released, and shutting them down or getting people in trouble under legal precedent that didnt exist when the actions were done. Its like having laws passed on things you were doing before legally and getting arrested over what was fine before because of retroactive application of laws which is disgusting.
Also many big games have creature catching mechanics Nintendo doesn't own the sole rights to such a genre as I said before. Or do we need to talk about Digimon, and Shin Magami Tensei? And also its not like Nintendo did some alleged design copying just compare the original Pokémon to Dragon Quest of then, and you can see how much of it is copied in design. This whole thing is Nintendo being petty cause they don't want to feel one upped by a Pokémon like game that is in full legal right to exist.
