Then there’s a great aftermarket company that makes great parts for them that don’t break the bank if you wanna change the grip or want to run a can and get the piston system etc etc. I like the 556 one as well but if I’m running that round I prefer the AR platform. Still I’ll always love the Galil Ace and will scoop up any that I can

The age of the Pike is definitely over. The DoD is done with the Bayonet as the emerging 6.8mm and 6mmARC are 13" or less barrels. For that reason I cannot drool over aGen3-4 16" 308 Galil, especially when it will not be running the 2xLug Original Pattern mags. 308 under 16" gives up far too much unless there is a suppressor on it M7 Style. For the 556, the rich bullet munching competitors will be liking the STANAG pattern, while the Prepper Independents will like the near indestructible 2xLug Original Pattern mags. (STANAG is an actual weakness until ETS IMWO, and that nightmare might end with the .264I ) Surplus Ammo and Market AK Mags for the 545 and x39 are high on prepper points. Me personally not seeing a 6.8 M7 round in my "user end" future, and still not sold on suppressed 12" 308, Galil in 12" 6ARC Pistol fed by 2xLug 25s, could move my eyes off of SIG Spear 6ARC looming just below the horizon. Not as few parts as the AK, but fewer than Spear. What is driving my thoughts on all of this is that the 6ARC is going to save the AR15 platform, the .264I will save the Mini-Action Class and kill STANAG Mags. Armor is what changed the nature of play of the game. Civilian Riflemen do not get helo resupply and med. evac., so robustness and reliability remain king, fewer parts on the field strip is part of that. Galil Delivers the AK Action Reliability. It is modern, and yet more parts. M7, well, US Civilians have always seen a gun as an Inheritance, military as a disposable tool, and the M7 has to come with a Crate of Barrels to last a couple of generations.

Still I’ll always love the Galil Ace and will scoop up any that I can
You should check out the Krebs M23, it’s an awesome looking “Modern AK.”
I love mine more than any of my AKs and I think that speaks volumes of the Galil ACE. Mine’s a low serial number generation 2 example so I didn’t go through all the bullshit you guys had to go through
I have the Stanag version specifically because I have other rifles that take Stanag magazines. People don't seem to like the look, but I think the Stanag version has a lot going for it. It has very well thought out ambi mag catches and a great (for a righty) bolt catch.
Hey whatever make you happy. I tend to like having guns with their original mags
Yeah the 5.56 stanag rifle version is really rad - I love it. That bolt catch/release is just awesome.
I’ve never shot one and I’ve had ar’s and ak’s my whole life never thought much about the galil until last few months now I want one pretty bad
Love the GMT at 1:08
I just scooped up a first gen 5.45 ace from my homie the other day. I think it's #345. Plastic grip delete and KNS adjustable piston 🙌
Excellent!
really wish there was a plastic delete kit for the ace gen 2 5.56
I have the first and only Galil Ace with a binary trigger. It is a monster(762x39 Gen 1 rifle). Replaced the handguard with a 12" M.I. handguard, cut the magwell to accept drums. I have a KNS Precision adjustable gas piston that I haven't installed yet. I want to replace the folding stock, but haven't found one that has a cheek rise. Running a Dead Air Sandman S suppressor. I might get a OSS can, still thinking about it.
If Chris comes through and buys and kits out a Galil of his own, please do a follow up video covering his build. 🙏🏻
Dude. I’m really tempted to snag one.
@@Chrisblau you're sleeping... I'm an AK guy thru n thru, the ACE 22 is king of kings in the AK variants the LRBHO by itself let alone the build quality
And it's in 556... It's a no brainier if you got the extra bread it's a great investment if nothing else
Having a suppressed Gen1 5.56, it's fantastic! I have short video on it, too.
I watched your content on the Ace
I love it
Hell yea 🤙🏻
@@1911syndicate video of diligent defense suppressor please we need to do
I seen your video before... Make more ace stuff I'll watch it
Been trying to get one of these 13” rock n lock 5.56 Galil Ace models for a while. I don’t understand why IWI discontinued them. The last one I had lined up fell through, gonna get one a some point already have a box of new mags from IWI.
Dissident Arms has a great layaway set up if money is the problem. I did that the day they were released months ago. I checked their website and they still have some
I've got one I'm putting up 4 sail if you're interested.
I believe they are currently available from said source
@@shawnwillis7561l
Idk why they got rid of the 13 but I want it back, it's the perfect size for 7.62
They still make the 13
I have been waiting on y'all to review this
🤙🏻
One of my all time favorite "AK *Variants*" love me some "I.W.I./I.M.I." especially the Galil ACE line!🙌👌🤘💪🤙
🍻
Been wanting one for a while. Just bought Zastava m70. 7.62x39 galil will be my next gun in that chamber
I just got my m70 to brother I love my Galil ace pistol
@@deavenburns6822 yes I’ve always wanted one and the only thing holding me back is the price…
🤙🏻
Can you guys please do a review on a diligent Defense suppressor please
Love Galil ACE 21 rock and lock mags! looking to purchase one as we speak😊
Freakin do it
Hey brothers im kicking back watching you on my big screen tv right now. Great. What small knife you got there on your battle belt. Looks nice. Thanks.
Thanks for watching and thank you for the support brother 👊🏼
upgrades part list? especially stock? great video!
Thank you sir. 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼 in a previous video Jake breaks down that galil build
another great video guys! keep them coming!!
Thank you sir and thank you for watching 👊🏼
🍻
Fun Fact : In The Book Of Genesis, Chapter 18, Verse 1-4. It talks about The Godhead(Trinity) visiting Abraham, and after meeting Abraham, Abraham told them to wait under the tree. I say this because they talked about the Jewish gun while under a tree.
Mk47 & Ace and Robinson Arms are the three Ak's I would need.
Thanks for the shout familia 🙏
Yessir
Where are you at the 30 second mark? You're out at standsbury island quite often it seems. Thats one of my spots for going shooting since i live in tooele. Stockton and skull valley are awesome too
Better get Galil now before they are out of production. IwI is moving to the Carmel and ARs.
The whole reason I the Galil is because of its use in Chappie and District 9 which is why I bought a SAR kit to be built.
Just got a galil ace myself
Lack of handguard options is actually criminal
Glad it accepts ar stocks but wish it took ak stuff
About to build a monstrosity
I guess you guys really want me to get an AK-esque platform. From the Rifle Dynamics video to Gatman's top 5 and now this, I've been eyeing Rifle Dynamic's Builder classes with much gusto. this might be the passion project for 2024.
Jake has been trying to get me to get a AKish platform for a minute and this is the only one I think I’ll even entertain.
@@Chrisblau if you get it by next Atlanta Range Day, please let me shoot it 🥺
You should for sure do the class 👍🏻
Now I’m tempted to get either the 8.3 or 13 gen 1 to match my SAR…
Check out the Galil Ace Mk2 predecessor the Bravo 18/Oss AK.
What optic is that you’re running on the FDE Galil 22?
24:55
You can convert the standard 5.56 nato to rock and lock mags.
Oh really? Well that’s great
Not a barrel swap...they pin and weld a choice of muzzle devices. Mine looks like a CAR 15 moderator. I also put a surplus SAR stock on it and it looks awesome.
Great video! Thanks.
Enjoyed the content! Definitely dig your set ups. I have the rock n lock ace as well from dissident. I have the many galils and was lucky enough to scoop up all three versions of the 545 gen 1’s. The paint scheme and the rest of the kit was a nice touch I’ll have to say. If I got a second one I’d do something along those lines just cause it works and looks badass.
The galil bug bit you hard haha
You guys are the best. Don’t ever stop doing the things.
Not gonna
Not gonna brother. Thank you for the kind words 👊🏼👊🏼
8.3 gen 2, x39, SBR soon, followed immediately by a KNS system, looking at a skeletonised stock atm
I really want one of those gen 1 5.45
Do it
I'd like to see your take on the CMMG mk47 banshee comparison to the Gallil Ace.
Carolina Caliber got 500 and Dissident Arms got 500 in 5.56...I got mine from Carolina Caliber and it's awesome!
Oh man the anticipation is killing me
🍻
Y’all still doing a review on the GQ armory 300blk?
Yes
Yea sir 😉
Tonight on 1911 Syndicate: An Israeli clone of a Finnish clone of an AK-47 appears. Joseph bring his amazing technicolor Galil's out. Jake continues to show his favorite holes are rabbit holes, instead of pleasure holes.....
Hahahahahahaha
😂😂😂😂😂😂
You boys have way too much fun!!
Is the kns piston kit a good upgrade even tho it probably won’t be suppressed? On 5.45 16" gen2. thanks for a detailed video on the platform!
It’s a must regardless of suppression
@@1911syndicate 10-4 New to galil platform, got the delete kit ordered and got lucky with a new tuned AGT-UL off GBroker.
32:08 definitely start with the gen 2 galil ace just settle one of 3 flavors of calibers
I want to see a comparison between a knights and the new spear lt because that will be one of my next purchases
Probably not getting that one any time soon honestly. And they’re totally different systems
@1911syndicate totally different systems but both being utilized by military in some capacity. Interested in whether you think this platform will be the future of rifles versus the tried and true AR.
I’m getting my Galil MAR parts kit built right now 🤙
What kind of ak are you fellas using you have trouble rocking the mag in?
Gen 1 rock n lock for the win!
Have the same gun! Love it! But, I need one of those watches!
Haha we’re in talks about it
What a tease I wanted to watch today lol!
See you tomorrow
@@1911syndicate you sure will!
Awww snap it’s begun
I mean it's not a true AK, but then again, to implement all the modern features, maybe that's what you have to do...
You guys should try the Robinson Armament XCR-L!
Way too cool, keep it up.
Thank you sir 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
You can just rivet on an AK trigger guard and mag release as well.
I wonder if the 7.62x 39 one rocks in as easy too?
Honestly not sure
I’m surprised you couldn’t find it on the American sight. I’m pretty sure they’re made in Middletown Pennsylvania.
I’m surprised the safety isn’t a bigger issue for you, as a lefty I cannot stand the left side safety I was thinking about dremeling it off tbh
Got an gen 2(556), pretty cool and unique but unfortunately unnecessary heavy for the caliber (i should have gotten .308 version).. id would still would have an AR pattern rifle as an goto...
Where did he get the 1913 attachment for the Galil @!?
I think from dissident
@@1911syndicate Nice ❗️
CZ Bren 2 next??
Not yet
The answer to the video title….. yes … nuff said
They imported 545 gen 1 in each barrel length. The gen 2s are another story.
One minute in and I am hoping they put KNS adjustable gas pistons in.
We wind up covering that
Gen 1 5.45 is the one I've been trying to get.
Yes. Yes it is.
I have a gen 2 308 and fucking love ❤️ it need the kns system
The KNS is a must
@@1911syndicate do u know if it's going to fit the 308 version
Galil Aces are slept on but when they are gone watch the value skyrocket
Would love to get a gen 1 7.62 if it wasn't for my state's 💩 AWB.
I'm just simply not a fan the plasticy look and feel of the gen 2. Even though the ergos look improved.
(STANAG is an actual weakness until ETS IMWO, and that nightmare might end with the .264I )
Surplus Ammo and Market AK Mags for the 545 and x39 are high on prepper points.
Bajonett and Lamp Place, is a goog Idea, Why not, Surefire maked, now
