Not sure anyone answered this question but, Assemblage is really a word. It means, "a collection or gathering of things or people" and "a machine or object made of pieces fitted together."
Adams arms was my first upper. While the barrel died, the rest of it is still kickin along with a ton of rounds and full auto on the clock. Hard to beat for the price as long as you set it up right. Rail options are also severely limited, unfortunately.
With slight modification to the op rod (just to move the spring), many large ID rails work with all the Adams arms options. My personal favorite build uses a low pro Adams block under a Seekins Precision MCSR.

I know this bucks the norm but my man squeeze is my Galil Ace chambered in 7.62 NATO. I choose to hump it and mostly leave my KAC , Colt Ar’s at home a majority of the time. Having Arsenal AK’s, and Siaga’s I still mainly choose my Galil as my go to. The 308 Galil is an absolute workhorse, as are all ACE models are. I don’t own the Mdel 22 yet but I’m in search of a Gen 1 with 16” barrel. There are some Gen 1’s available at this very moment but in the 13” length. I may just grab it and convert the barrel. This video has given me a push in that direction.
I have always wanted the Sig. I have been debating on a Galil on and off for years. I think you have sold me after posting the last 2 videos with it. Everyone should have or know how to run an AK. But a quality AK can be as much or more than a high end AR.
I'm still trying to find a 12.5 5.56, but would take a 7.62x39. I don't really dig the newer one's. I like the gen 1 and gen 2s. But definitely not 1500 like his. 2k plus
I own an arsenal slr104fr and the ace22. The Galil ace22 takes the cake all day. Best bang/features/value for your buck. Somehow I still want SIGag 55x, but I can’t justify a 4500 overhyped firearm plus super expensive/hard to find parts and accessories. Maybe because the grass is greener on the other side.
I have them both aswell also ace 8" in 5.45x39 and gen 1 7.62x51 308 20". While I will say the Galil Ace has obvious machining and fit and finish superiority. Some overlooked things the slr104fr has over any ace is easy is dissemblely (my aces especially gen 2 5.45x39 I have to have a punch and rubber hammer to remove dust cover gen1 is a bit eaiser.), cleaning rod ( I have used a cleaning rod to ram stuck cases or idiots who load a 5.56 round in a 7.62x39 mag and let it rip more than 3 times just this year), also the slr104fr has a cleaning kit in the butt stock which I have used to rip stuck cases out of the chamber. Oh and it's lighter even with a white light and red dot on ultimak. The ace is easier to reload with the charging handle on the left side but I have no issues with saftey manipulate on my slr104fr especially if it's a tactical reload and I don't have to run the charging handle. Love them both though.
I love the legit honesty on practical actual group sizes. With a red dot on field conditions. Better than the moa all day keyboard commandos. Decent peep irons are more accurate than red dots!

NEED A RPK WITH A 2.0MM HEAVY RECEIVER WITH A 22"BARREL STRAIGHT FLUTED BARREL AND USE THE 6.5MM GRENDEL WITH A HOLLOW CAVITY LIKE THE 7N1 WITH A TUNGSTEN STEEL CORE BOAT TRAIL FOR ACCURACY AND LONG RANGE SHOOTING AND ACCESSORIES AND STILL BE ABLE TO USE THE AK47 MAGS
I have many ak varients and the galil ace. Ace is way too heavy for the power cartrige it fires, unless its a .308 version. The 1 mil stamped standrard trunnion AKM is my favorite. Nice and light and plenty accurate.
The ACE 22, which is the version they have, is just at 7lbs. That’s not heavy at all realistically. Plenty of people have ARs the same size or smaller that weigh more. That also is lighter than a standard AKM like a WASR which comes in at 7.5lbs
@TheHashtagSquad2K15 I call BS on that IWI claimed number. Iwi also poses that the gar 1639 is 7.5lbs (just gun), and it's BS numbers. No way 3" shorter barrel removes a pound from the gun. Even if it was right, 7.5lbs for a 13" barrel puny 5.56 shooter? Hell no, when ARs at the same price point, you can get for 6.1 or 6.2 lbs with a full damn 16" barrel. It makes no sense. x39 cartridge is a beefier cartridge that ar platforms have had a history of not being able to shoot reliably, so an akm makes sense in that caliber.
@@xxdizannyxx first of all I own an ACE 22, it weighs in at 6lbs 13oz without the stock so the number isn’t that far off. Who said anything about the ACE 22 being a pound lighter than other options?? I just said it was lighter than a standard AKM…..and onto the AR comparison, cool but if you’re ok with carrying a 7.5lbs AK (with literally nothing on it) then any argument you make about weight savings is redundant
@TheHashtagSquad2K15 I don't. I never said I carry a 7.5pb rifle. My go-to 5.56 is 6.2lbs empty. My akm is for use inside the house. 21 acres of land I live on that I shoot 5 days a week. Actually, just last night, we had our first trespasser who was drunk and banging on all sides of the house. That was fun. Police has to come
@TheHashtagSquad2K15 I all bs on 6.13oz without stock. Without mag, without barrel, too? Proof or I can't believe that. Like I said I own one and hold it all the time I know it's way heavier than a akm at 16" barrel at 3" less barrel will not make it magically that much lighter. Anyway, in 2023, 7lbs is too damn much weight to fire a damn 5.56 cartridge out of 16" barrel or less. Galil is a gimmic rifle in my eyes. Not even the Israelis use them.
I love long strokes too....hey wait a minute!? What i say 🤔 ive had a hard on for both the Sig 551 , and the Galil , i have a complete Adams Arms piston upper on a Spikes lower and its Bitchin
All three are hot gats! As a fellow gun snob, I appreciate Jake’s taste in firearms. Love this format of comparing multiple guns against each other. Thanks boys!
Long stroke and Direct impingement are both obsolete now are they not? Hasn’t short stroke piston with a rotating bolt the optimal system for battle rifles?
Thank you guys for the video. I'll take the 551 in this choice only but personally I wouldn't choose any of these firearms and not because I don't like any of AK's. The Galil is more favored then the AK buy a lot of people but the Sig has better features for my style of shooting. I still wouldn't choose that Sig in general.
I would think an ak in 5.56 with the agb and a magpul handguard would be the best for a shooter. All these metal handguards get hot, dong or magpul for me.
Standard AK- If you want to spend less and get basically the same performance. Doesn't have to be a Boutique brand to be a solid gun. Most options fit customization. Galil- If your an AR guy, it will come more naturally. But i know how AR guys get with weight and these things are close to 9lbs dry. More "solid" feel than a typical AK. Sig 55X- Basically a splurge purchase. They are the nicest but they aren't really "better" at being a rifle. The trigger is spongy and that can be a real turn off for some. They do have that premium feel though, and that is half the fun of shooting for me personally. I like my Sig 553R best, but I would say the standard AK is the best overall and no one should feel under-gunned with one.
Jake you should hit up Atlantic Firearms and see if they would be wiling to send you something along the Ak style realm you could showcase or do a video on. A polish Beryl for example.
i have a 762x39 gen 1 galil and let me tell you i have a kns piston in it and it shoots flatter than my ARs i recommend galils all the way i also built a older arm
never shot one always have but i cant justify 308 prices but it would be cool to have one now since they are making halbek devices now so it would help a lot with recoil@@J.Young808
The PWS-MOD-2 you reviewed a while back in 556 or 7.26 would’ve been great for this comparison video. I understand you likely don’t have it / didn’t for this vid. It’s long stroke and probably the lightest weight of the rifles you reviewed + has many of the positive features discussed, and likely a bit cheaper option….my guess is it’s performance would be near the top of the heap.
Can you please add in the Black Rifle Arms 7.62X39 8.5'' or 11.5'' L.P.R. CARBINE PISTON UPPERS. coupled with Ross defense Uni-mag for reliable magazine selection.
18:40 That unholy hinge stock is your doing!!! You defaced that poor 551!!! Please put the original furniture back on or William Tell will find you and shoot a crossbow bolt at you lol I bet you didn't had this issue on the original Swiss furniture. 😉
Galil ace gen 5.56 with a 8 inch barrel. Because i wanted one 😂 also have the rifle in 7.62x39 love them both. On the 39 i put a steiner px4i 1=4 love that scope. On my pistol 5.56 i went with a mepro light red dot.
@19:20 "I removed the original stock and installed one from another gun, now the hinge is in the way and the ergos suck...fuckin' Swiss, what were they thinking."
Silly request, but will you guys ever review starter 1911’s sub 1,500 such as the standard Colt Government Model, Springfield Garrison and Colt Gold Cup National match?
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought krebs made replacement safety levers for the 550 series? Not sure if they would fit the Swiss model or not, though.
You guys have to have a redu on the 50cent grouping challenge. For what its worth, one was shot from the prone with the magazine in the deck (kind of cheating the stability there) and the other shot from a seated position which is not as stable 🤷🏾 (giving him the benefit of the doubt lol)
Galil Ace FTW. Then maybe a …? Nah, THAT ‘Rifle Dynamics’ is a reputable piece of work too though…just NOT a huge ‘551’ fan and there’s SEVERAL great “modernized” in-a-sense AK producers, but it MIGHT ALSO cost a bit more mula too. STILL, the Ace is a fine platform. Dude NEEDS TO TAKE a breath every once-in-a-while man…

The 308 galil is awesome it runs whatever ammo you want, takes ar10 mags, and you can get shots out to 800/1000 yards if you know what you are doing
The Galil .308 is a great gun. I have a gen II and Love it!! It does not have last round bolt hold open tho.
I tied a length of 5/50 cord to my Gen II which I use to hold the bolt back. ait works really well.

The Galil ACE weighs exactly as much as a gallon of hummus, that is no coincidence 🇮🇱
Bruh hummus isn’t an Israeli dish
They stole ak and called it galil
And stole hummus and called it Israeli hummus
I love the Galil ACE so much I ditched every ak i owned to get more Galils.

I have a sig 556 classic and I love it just as much as my AK’S and soon to have a galil 5.56 ace 2
There are 4 position valves for the 55x series on JDI right now
34:16... tell me you're an AR guy talking about AKs! LOL. still love what you guys put out.
32:37 wow I got my Galil Ace (Gen 2 I think) in 7.62x39 for $1200
Yeah gen2 which is not as desirable or rare as the one he has. Still cool but not gen1 cool.
Jake's Sig needs a green polymer folder for Christmas.
best looking stock ever.
I’ve got one, just playing with this new system
I love long strokes too....hey wait a minute!? What i say 🤔 ive had a hard on for both the Sig 551 , and the Galil , i have a complete Adams Arms piston upper on a Spikes lower and its Bitchin
All three are hot gats! As a fellow gun snob, I appreciate Jake’s taste in firearms. Love this format of comparing multiple guns against each other. Thanks boys!
Thanks bro!
Robinson should send you an XCR
That would be lovely
That Galil gen 2 is so nice but is still take the Swiss Arms. Although with that being said my favorite is still the SLR104 Suppressed
The Galil Ace is by far the best AK and the 8.3” 762 Galil Ace is the best of the Aces
13” is master race, especially in 556 rnl. You get velocity, ergonomic (LRHO), and less percussion/recoil.
I would prefer the RK95. Galil is good but heavy
That sig should have nothing on it ever besides the factory furniture. *chef’s kiss.
My factory stock will go back on
Long stroke and Direct impingement are both obsolete now are they not? Hasn’t short stroke piston with a rotating bolt the optimal system for battle rifles?
Thank you guys for the video. I'll take the 551 in this choice only but personally I wouldn't choose any of these firearms and not because I don't like any of AK's. The Galil is more favored then the AK buy a lot of people but the Sig has better features for my style of shooting. I still wouldn't choose that Sig in general.
Had Adams Arms upper and I loved it. Just need to wrap the handguard. Had an issue with charging handle reciprocating, but maybe it's a gas issue?
Honestly above my pay grade
@@1911syndicate Love you guys! Would love suppressor series if you could for 762.
My choice is the 551. Galil has better ergonomics but the 551 shoots better for me
The Sig 551 flex is real in this vid 😮Im jealous.
That rifle is so awesome dude I’m jealous Jake has one as well
Where'd ya get those pants el chriso?
Norarm tactical sir
@@Chrisblau thanks bud!
I'm not sure if Krebs customs still makes them but they do a enhance sig 556 safety or 550 series
Galil ARM ! 1st choice
Your attitude in the beginning is that of a true AK owner 😂
😂😂😂😂 hahahahha you’re not wrong he’s so salty all the time I swear.
Overneath The Top. Sounds like a cool tshirt or decal to me.
FAL?
never shot one always have but i cant justify 308 prices but it would be cool to have one now since they are making halbek devices now so it would help a lot with recoil@@J.Young808
I always wanted a SIG 55X. I might settle for a spear LT or an Ace gen 2
I do. It just felt out of place here
Can you please add in the Black Rifle Arms 7.62X39 8.5'' or 11.5'' L.P.R. CARBINE PISTON UPPERS. coupled with Ross defense Uni-mag for reliable magazine selection.
Is that JMAC stock actually good? Looks super uncomfortable and one’s face is far from the optics.
Looks super cool, just uncomfortable.
This particular one I did not care for
@@1911syndicate did you end up going back to the Sig original one?
Let’s talk about that that Toyota Tundra your driving. Did that thing’s motor disintegrate yet?
Hey Chris, where did you get those pants?
Don't piston ar wear out upper because of downward pressure on bolt or has this been corrected
Can't believe there's not a Valmet:). Great video!
Or the Swedish ak5
18:40 That unholy hinge stock is your doing!!! You defaced that poor 551!!! Please put the original furniture back on or William Tell will find you and shoot a crossbow bolt at you lol I bet you didn't had this issue on the original Swiss furniture. 😉
All said and done, u can’t deny the Sig is truly ur baby! ❤
Today in “Jake is wrong-handed”
😂😂😂
Galil ace gen 5.56 with a 8 inch barrel. Because i wanted one 😂 also have the rifle in 7.62x39 love them both. On the 39 i put a steiner px4i 1=4 love that scope. On my pistol 5.56 i went with a mepro light red dot.
Awwwwww, thanks Jake
@19:20 "I removed the original stock and installed one from another gun, now the hinge is in the way and the ergos suck...fuckin' Swiss, what were they thinking."
No. The hinge is a part of the design of the gun. If you haven’t shot it it won’t make sense
Huxworks flow will work with out major reduild
Silly request, but will you guys ever review starter 1911’s sub 1,500 such as the standard Colt Government Model, Springfield Garrison and Colt Gold Cup National match?
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought krebs made replacement safety levers for the 550 series? Not sure if they would fit the Swiss model or not, though.
May Hashem bless you for your comments!!!
Long live ERETZ YISROEL!!!🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

@hamzabagira9623 there is no such thing to free...
For the safety… you might want to try the krebs safety… makes it so much easier.
Maybe he meant 50cent the rapper. Thats a much bigger target
Hahaha
Pws is the best long stroke
Great gun
Unrelated but anyone know the pair of blue/black pants he’s wearing?
Fjall raven
Love my Galil ace gen2 7.62x39 pistol 8.5”
Ace gang
Mini doc on the ACR??
Mmm not yet
Hey why don't you guys come down to Kalashbash Texas. All things ak
Dude NEEDS TO TAKE a breath every once-in-a-while man…
Podcast length 1911 Syndicate video? Don’t mind if I dooooo…
Heeeey thank you dude we appreciate it 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
