I absolutely love the idea of this video Jake. I think it'd be awesome to make this an ongoing series where you just pick a day and travel around and pick 4, 5, or 6 different stores and give us an inside look at what some of the different options are out there. I live in Utah and had no idea about that first shop you went to. Keep them coming!
May I say Gallenson's would be a treat to see if I'm ever in Utah. The Bespoke shop was complete class - exceptional & such attention to detail in the items. Thanks Jake for the video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I went to the Dallas Safari convention a few years back and there was a company selling very high end Holland & Holland side by sides for $300-$500k. They had about 20 on the table. It was insane
Hey, I'm from Europe and have an Blaser R8 myself, many German hunters hunt with an R8 or the previous model Blaser R93. The 470 Exp. bullet is very rarely or not at all used here. The bullet was developed in England and is mostly used for BIG GAME (Elefant, Buffalo, etc.). The wild boar hunt is usually hunted with us with .308 or 30-06. As for the Bernadelli's price estimate, I'm sorry to tell you but the weapon just costs a lot less normally this Bernardelli (Big Game Express) is trading for €50,000 aprox $55k. I bought my first pistol at Gallensons at the older store, the smaller shop before that newer building. It was sometime mid-late 1980's . Brought back good memories
Some of those European hunting guns are some top shelf craftmanships, and the prices are INSANE. Was at a skeet range as a young man, where i spoted 2 of the more well off gentlemen in my area, both used custom dobble barrel shotguns for training, that was just beautifull! Both guns where in the price range of a years normal salary in Norway.
This is my first 911 syndicate video. The first place you stopped at gave me complete wood. Also it very much reminded me of the old Numrich arms parts comp / Auto Ordance in West Hurley NY when they still had a retail store. Also a lot of people worked there. Workers would write hidden foul messages under the wood parts.
The compensated staccato P (and C2, if you find them) were a special order from Staccato that came with every box ticked for 2022. Yes you could custom order it like that but it was a stocking dealer thing.
@1911 Syndicate What a great video...the first shop was an absolute mint and the boutique shop left me feeling "poorer-or"...my own fault and no one elses..😂 Chris popping out of the dumpster had me spitting my coffee 🤣
I went on a mule deer hunt near salt lake and the last day in Utah my dad and I went to a lot of gun shops in salt lake and their are a lot of great one
the hunting community guns are very pricy but the funny thing I took from it that Blaser R8 is it's $4k+ and still from what I saw only averages 1moa @ 100 yards. most modern bolt guns would be laughed of the planet with that performance / price
@D-Nall crazy that you can get something like a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5CM and half the price of a Blaser and better accuracy. You could build a AR-15 using Larue barrels..or heck you could even buy Larue's Enhanced Siete and have enough money left over for a good optic.
I've been to the gun store in the Midwest in a few states. I've never been to these gun stores. Then again I put 100 rounds through my springfield dp and watched 2 people shoot 50 rounds out of a green glock with a 30 round mag. Shits crazy.

The other guy was big into every AR related. The other guy handled all the pistols and the owner like everything weird or old. Best store ever seen. Started telling everyone about them. The also sold awesome gear and they opened up a gun range where you can element full auto guns but I swear it’s never busy, it’s small but in a good way, very modern and everyone that works there loves guns and highly intelligent
