Thanks for stopping by the shop! We enjoyed having you guys out.
You took my money.
@@1911syndicatecould have taken a lot more. Let us know when you want that HK shipped out. It’s calling your name
Damn!!!! I didn’t see you post they were going to be here!!!
(waves because I realize this will probably be the first interaction since I did a job interview a while ago)
I'm just surprised they were like "hell yeah Winchester Model 12" when there was an Ithica Model 37 right below it.
I live about an hour south of here. I have only been there once. But it is a great shop.
Man the noise that man produces just chewing gum is insane . It reminds me of when the kids lost their privilege to chew gum in any vehicle with me in it ever again.
So nervig
Bout to turn it off because of this.
Looks and sounds like a young Cliff Claven.
SO cringe chewing smacking and a voice that makes me want my 5 minutes back really want to know what was purchased.
Almost turned off the video because of it
"You can acknowledge history without it being an endorsement" You Sir are wise beyond your years.
What happened…happened.
@@1911syndicate A local, (Pittsburgh), paper did a hit piece at the PGCA gun show years ago because a guy had a German helmet on his table. I know him and the story. His dad had killed the German sniper wearing it after he had shot his best friend. There's a .30 hole in the front out the back. History, learn it or repeat it!
Tonight on 1911 Syndicate : Jake struggles with a SPAS 12 like he struggles with females, Allegheny Arms must have bought out Rock Island Auction house, and we all regret not buying buying Vector Uzi's in 2004....
Stupid expensive Uzi’s
@1911syndicate they where only 3K for the full size and 4k for the mini in 2004. We should have bought all of them
@@BrianKern2121I have nib Uzi model B for sale there are consecutive for sale as well
Ps they are all IMI
SPAS 12 is missing a part
At 18:35 Eli tells the story about the AC556 in a defensive gun use. The employee of HK(he eventually founded Al Mar Knives)was chased by a pickup with roadraging bikers in it. He was trying to get away from them but they chased him across multiple towns and they wouldn't leave him alone. He decided to run to his job that had a security gate around it. He hoped once he was through the gates they would leave him alone. The bikers came through the gate after him. He got out of the truck armed with his full auto AC556, told the biker "leave me alone I have a machinegun!". The biker replied "I'm not afraid of you or your machinegun!". Those were the biker's last words. The guy defended himself and killed the biker. The prosecutor tried to convict the defender saying he used a "machinegun" and it was overkill. The FBI had an undercover agent or informer(I can't remember which) that testified the biker was definitely not intimidated and was going to kill him if he didn't defend himself and his girlfriend that day.
That’s an amazing story
@@1911syndicate I enjoy Eli's content. I'd enjoy his rants that you fast forwarded through. Maybe he could use the footage on his channel(hopefully).
@@mrtlsimonThanks for the story! I actually did wonder what happened, I figured it was just a home invasion type thing, but the real story is much more wild. What is the guys channel? I'd love to check out his stuff too.
Massad Ayoob wrote about this very story in American Handgunner YEARS ago. Hadn’t heard about that one in forever.
This is huge man. Thanks for coming out here and letting people know there are some red blooded Americans in the Burgh
Josh at Allegheny is Pittsburgh's resident Beretta 92 wizard!
Yea, I gave him the serial number for the one I had at my N.G. armory and he knew when it was made!
We love our 2a in Pittsburgh!
@@rustyc Yes we do 'n' At!
I happened to be working at a gun store about 10 years ago when a "young hippie" woman walked in. I mean she was dressed like she stepped right out of Woodstock, long straight hair, sandals, long floral print wrap dress, and a bag made from old blue jeans.
She wanted to look at knives so naturally I had to suggest getting a gun. She said Eleanor was all she needed and kept her with her all the time since her grandfather gave it to her. So I asked what it was and she pulled out a Colt 1911!!
Seems her everyday carry is a US marked Colt 1911 that the serial number dated to 1912!!
She didn't buy anything and we never saw her again, I'm pretty sure she was a glitch in the matrix.
That suppressed 45 bolt gun that took 1911 mags was cool as hell.
When I saw the title I thought “man these are reaching into the bottom of the barrel for content”, it turns out to be the best video in this series.
The guy in the black polo who took you to the lounge sold me an X300. Turns out he lived about 20 minutes north of where I live in AL when he was younger. Neat store, liked the staff.
That’s rad
"See, Sig is a marketing company that sells guns..."

Right? 😂😂😂
Lucas Botkin came up with that saying lol

We won't talk about the problems we've been having on our military M17s...Let's just say, who needs rear sights? Just let them fly off and call it a day.
Guys, I’m sorry I was chewing gum so loud. I didn’t even realize it. With that said, most of yall carry plastic guns, so you deserve to be annoyed.
Roasted
Please don't chew gum on camera. This was a tough listen 😀
@@pappaal Listen, I didn't realize it was a problem, and no one said it was a problem then. Y'all act like you have some sort of monetary investment in this production.
@@1776_duck Nobody is mad, bro, and nobody is acting like anything. It's not like you intentionally did it. You even admitted it 😂
Didn't even notice tbh.
Actually, a Walther PP. Yinz guys went to Pittsburgh 'n' At and didn't talk about one of the rarest 1911A1s? Union Switch & Signal! Made in Swissvale PA, just five minutes from downtown. Only made 55,000 1911A1s plus some M1 carbine receivers. If you find a "National Postal Meter" carbine with a "U" on the receiver tang, or a "Quality Hardware" one marked "UnQuality Hardware", those were both made at the Swissvale factory. Another company that used to be in Pittsburgh was Acme Police Supply. They made lots of web gear during the war like Thompson mag pouches.
👍 I grew up in Swissvale..
@@C-C-777 Sweet! I'm up between Beaver Falls and New Castle. I was at Keystone the day before they filmed there.
The cartoon character definitely knows his stuff.

My man Josh Rowe….bro I used to go to his small (old) shop for all my Beretta work. Awesome gunsmith and all around awesome dude. Congrats on your success bud.
Great Episode!!! Nice to see some of my fellow Pennsylvania Gunsmith School alumni in this. Shout out to Josh and the boys at Allegheny Arms!!!
Fun fact this was all shot on green screen bc Pittsburgh doesn't really exist
lol
So I don't exist. Yes finally
You need 1776_duck on the channel more. I love these gun shop gun find videos but having someone who appreciates the older firearms is a wonderful change of pace.
He’ll be in a few upcoming things

I buy all my guns from Alleghany Arms. Great shop, great guys.
That dude kills me with his gum chewing!

I had to take my ear buds out. Fkn annoying
Welcome to Pennsylvania. I grew up in Pittsburgh, left there when I was 12. Looks like I need to revisit the area and do a gun shop tour.
You do indeed
You guys picked three good ones in the PGH-area! Allegheny Arms are great guys and always do top-notch work for me. Josh is a wizard and a fun guy to talk to. Keystone are also super cool and one of the only MG-rental ranges in the region.
Yes sir!!!!
I can remember Pittsburgh. The one that always baffles me is that New Jersey is an entire state.
I could listen to the dude with the aviator talk about guns for hours. Love this video.
That Allegheny owner is a cool ass dude I need everything in that cage haha
Them Pittsburgh boys ain’t messing around.
As a gun shop employee that red headed guy is the worst kind of customer ever
For why?
Met Josh from Allegheny Arms when I was going to PGS in Pittsburgh. One of the best gun towns in the country. Such a professional and a great dude.
Good job guys! Great video and a little informative as well 💯🤌
Great video guys!! I’m a huge fan of the channel!
Feeling incredibly validated seeing my MC Operator called out
Allegheny Arms knowledge and professionalism in the gun business, as well as how they value their customer base puts them at the top off the list. They support All Law Enforcement, Military, first responders and always helpful to the beginner or someone making their first gun purchase, these are good people morally and ethically who go above and beyond. I am a long-time customer and couldn't thank them enough for all the assistance over the years. Klinger.
Hail, Steel City! Keystone was my old stomping ground back in the day. They always had a few beautiful Cabots on hand because Cabot is just north of the city, in Butler. Good stuff! 🍻
I live in Pittsburgh and took my hunting rifle to Allegheny Gun Works to get the barrel threaded!
Nice!
They pulled a KAC MD off for me after it was stuck on so well it was literally marring wrenches as I was trying to wrench it off

Nice to see my local area getting some recognition. Fun fact, the neighboring county where I'm from, Armstrong county, has one of the highest rates of gun ownership per capita in the country.

The Welrod was a suppressed Single Shot Pistol, Bruger & Thomet make a modern version. The AWC is a modern take on DeLisle Carbine, the original being made in WWII on the Lee Enfield SMLE Receiver.

Please have all future guests chew a wad of gum. It sounds great through the microphone and looks awesome too.
This was awesome! Thank you!
Ace sporting goods, 30 minute drive south of Pittsburgh in Washington PA, has a big selection.
Yes!!!!
Great guys! They do the guns for the FOAC Gun Bash twice a year.
Buncha. Fudds there. I unironically heard an old dude there tell a woman she needs a 357 revolver for her first CC pistol
@@totenfurwotan4478 nobody can debate the store is dominated by Fudds, however, it also cannot be debated their selection is insane
@@totenfurwotan4478 90% of most gun stores employees are Fudds of one sort or another. Got to find a gun that fits the person. That said, my Mom crushed it with a .357 mag for years before I got her a Glock 19. And then you should have seen her at an offsite Gunsite Acadamy 150 three course. She kicked everybody butt and she was 60!
“Dirty awesome guns.” Full send. Happy Friday, Gents (and Duck!). 🇺🇸🤙
Thanks for coming to Pittsburgh. This was a nice video.
🇺🇸🍻
Absolutely amazing episode. Hits my top 10 of all time.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Josh Rowe has all the cool toys. Super nice guy too
I got a couple threaded barrels from Allegheny arms and used them in a video on my channel. They then sent me a thank you letter with a patch. Good people.
As a Pittsburgh native, fellow 2A enthusiast, and long time viewer this is NOT an accurate representation of Pittsburgh’s gun culture. Please come back and check out the mom and pop shops here. They don’t have vip rooms but I assure you there’s a lot more awesome guns and a lot more fun to be found here.
Collectors Firearms in Houston, TX is probably the best and most complete shop I've ever been to. The new store was built in an old Barnes & Nobel Starbucks. The place looks like a library with racks sorted by era. The owner is an encyclopedia of knowledge. You should definitely make a stop in there.
Duck is the best thing to happen to this channel in a long time. Would love to see some banter between him and Chris
Chris’ head might implode being around old guns
😂😂😂 Eli and I would have a great time.
Allegheny Arms is on of my favorite shops around.
Mustache guy really knows his stuff, I enjoyed his knowledge and enthusiasm. I'm a born and raised Pitt's Burger, however ironically I've never been to the first two gun shops. I'm from north of the Burgh, my local haunts are Midwest Shooting Center in Mccandless, and Living R Dreams LLC, both are great places, but smaller than the places featured here. I used to go to Keystone Shooting Center before Midwest Shooting Center opened up, which is much closer to me.
The shops they went in are somehow sterile and Ive been to most every shop in the area using out to Erie, Ohio and Union pa, I like some of the smaller ones which will get the occasion high end toy, Legion arms, Guns priced right both in the Dravosburg area and then Verona gun safe and Powels in the Penn hills are, Island fire arms on Nevel island occasionally as well,
I have most that they played with, But Ive like a SPAS 12,
May as well hit up Cabot while you're out here.
To be sure
My son and I went to Keystone Shooting Center in Cranberry PA recently. We were suitably impressed. Really nice store.
Anyone else notice the Triple Canopy sign?
Those that know, know. 🤔
Damn ! Best Video By Far Guys ! Awesome!

Awesome to see my hometown gun shops getting recognized I’ve been to all of these spots ! Ive bought more guns from all of them then Id like to admit…
"is this a horrible plan?"🤣"bonus content you getting arrested at the Chicago airport"😂

Congrats on the grail gun, my man!
Although in Texas now (& for decades...), I was born and raised outside of the 'Burgh. My 1st gun ever purchased was there and it was a Sig P220. Not too bad of a start, imo. 👍👍

A Mini Uzi IMI is up for auction on Gunbroker.
This was so random and so needed at the same time lol as a native from PGH I enjoyed this video
Union Switch and Signal in Swissvale Pa, made 1911 45s for WW2
just moved from pittsburgh to tampa but keystone shooting center was my go to range for quite a few years! great guys and selection over there
Holy cow, first-time watching channel, who is the walking encyclopedia of gun knowledge. My brain is in overload.
Nice to see Eli on the channel
It's nice to see a fellow appreciator of the MAC.
Pittsburgh is gun heaven. You could do a part 2 with legion arms, guns priced right, and shaw. Then a part 3 at with range usa sportsmans warehouse, and dunhams. Then a part 4 with elite, federal, big buck and neville island.
This definitely a serious of treasure gun store hunt. I'd love to see more of episodes.
Should've called me as a tour guide, I've been to all those shops multiple times😂
As someone who spends time in Pittsburgh for work, I thought it was always known for putting french fries on everything. And I do mean everything.
Sounds delicious. And healthy
