At 3K the best value loadout you can make would probably be:
    1: PSA Dagger Compact w/10 Magpul mags = $400
    2: PSA Sabre 16in 223wylde rifle = $1K
    2.5: SIG MSR RDS = $100, Streamlight Protac rifle light= $100, 5X Magpul mags = $50
    3: Stevens 320 12Ga 18.5in Shotgun = $200
    4: BLEM PSA PA10 18in 308 AR10 = $770
    4.5: SIG Whiskey3 3-9 Scope & Vortex Cantilever Mount = $130
    5: Savage Model 64 22LR semi auto rifle = $185
    5.5: Truglo Trushot 2-7 Scope = $60
    Total = $2995
    Explanations for the numbers:
1: Best value handgun that is not a Taurus, plus comes with a common mag type so mags are plentiful, and is easily upgradable.
2: Reliable higher end option at an amazing price point.
2.5: Good RDS, decent light, and Magpul mags are great. Eventually you could upgrade to a better optic, but the MSR is the best cheap "main brand" option that can hold zero for a 223/556.
    3. Stevens 320 shotguns are really reliable at their price point, only issue with them is their coating (paint it).
    4. AR10 can be used for hunting and long range target shooting. Could be swapped out with a Savage Axis if you wanted to be cheaper and come with a scope.
4.5: Best value combo for a scope and mount.
5: everyone needs a .22LR chambered gun for shooting varmint animals, and plinking targets.
5.5: Cheap scope is needed for a cheap .22LR gun, this serves a good purpose for it, and can be good for teaching yourself how to sight in scopes.

    Here’s my picks.
    Sig 365, $600
Sig 365xl slide, barrel and guide rod $567
    Sig XL grip module $89
GCODE Phenom IWB holster, modify the kydex to hold the 365 and 365XL. $69
    $1325 spent so far.
    Aero Precision AR15 M4E1 Complete Rifle, 16″ $989
Troy Defense fixed front and rear sights. $56 and $69
    Benelli Nova pump Shotgun, $499
Sling: Naked Slingster $42 (to be used with the shotgun and AR, needs to be naked to save money.)
    Total $2890
Cheapest QD Swivels I could find: $16 (for the ar)
    Cheapest Shotgun sling swivels: $8
    Total $3004
Could save money by buying the Benelli nova used.
With this list, you get a CCW holster, a CCW pistol, full-size pistol, AR with great iron sights, and a durable -‘d robust shotgun that can be used for hunting, and sport, with a lot of aftermarket support. (Different barrels, extended magazine tube, etc.).
The kydex holster only needs some trimming to hold both pistols.

This is a good video educationally. There probably are a lot of people who are getting into guns as a necessity who have to set aside a budget for them. $3k can get you what you need for sure. I would recommend a reputable 9mm full size pistol, which can be replaced by .40 or .45 pistols if the heavier caliber is prefered. Or a used 4" .357 mag revolver if a wheelgun is desired. For no cost increase. A solid 5.56mm carbine. A non Turkish slide action shotgun. Be plenty of leftover money for necessory accessories. Or upgrading the carbine. Maybe replace the shotgun with a braced HandsGun/PCC that isnt the SP5 or MPX. Think B&T GHM9, CZ Scorpion, etc...Anyway any of that would make for good emergency use weapons, recreational shooters, and maybe an introduction into some competition to at least show you where you need to upgrade if you get serious about it. Awesome video guys and thanks for all your time, effort, and expense in making it.

Literally do nearly anything and could train, compete and be solid for years. Not sure I could've chosen better myself. Wisely spent money. Did I just say that about Jake? That's a nice $3k bundle. As a poor person, I'd feel like Jake's collection was well spent. I thought of $3k as more like 4 to 5 guns, but I appreciate going for quality.
For $3K online, I might go with a $225 Mossberg Maverick, $500 Mossberg Patriot with scope, ~$600 AR-15 in .300BLK like PSA, $300 Taurus G3c, and $450 Taurus TH10. That's 5 guns for ~$2K, and then sales tax and other fees may be $250 or so. That leaves under $750 for AR optics, pistol red dot and holsters, extra magazines, and whatever else.

This was so fun to watch.
I found out about the cost of Sig magazines a couple weeks ago. I wanted to buy 3 20-round mags to replace the 15-rounders that came with the gun. Damn things are more expensive than the Wilson Combat mags I use for my 1911. Granted they obviously hold more rounds...but sheesh.

Not that I care for Glock but this is what I would build out as a base gun setup for a new shooter.
$650 Glock 19 mos 9mm optics ready(Glock parts/mags are readily available and affordable)
    >$1000 Ar15 pistol that takes 9mm Glock mags . that way you only have to be concern about 1 ammo type and 1 style of magazine makes everything extremely modular. Ar trigger kits and some furniture works for them so you can modify to your application or style.
Still have plenty of money left for optics, lights, mags double apply on pistol and pcc. Then you still have money left for a cheap shot gun and maybe enough for a bare larger caliber rifle

I went p365x macro, ap5 core and beretta a300 ultima patrol and still had about $400 left for accessories. This was using online prices and not factoring in shipping or transfer fees. I added the shotgun just to kinda round out the collection. If I were starting from scratch i probably would skip the shotgun and add a budget ar.

Jake for the win. However, owning both the Masada S and the P365… I prefer the Masada. At $400 bucks IMHO, it is a great option. However, field strip and cleaning, the P365 is better for a new shooter. The Masada Slim requires some experience.

3k and im walking out with 2 rifles a shotgun a pistol and mags. Anderson ar 500, a 9mm ar rifle that takes glock mags 500, h&r pardner 100, and a glock that matches the rifle 800. That leaves 1100 for optics mags accessories. Not high dollar guns but for a beginner budget this is a well rounded setup. Might even throw a 10 22 in there.

I know lock to the store was a factor if i had free reign with the money. would've done a diamondback DB15, 16″, Carbon Series, 5.56 NATO, Jesse James Civil Defense Blue $845.00, Walther ccp 9mm $470, remington 870 tactical syn $450, savage arms Axis II xp 6.5 creedmoor $480. total gun value $2245.
then i would grab a 2x ccp mag $80 light tuck wedder holster $70 wedder magdraw double $50, BLACKHAWK! Shotgun Bandoleer $30, 3x Magpul DB15 PMAG 30 Round $45, Vortex Crossfire Red Dot $150, Fab Defense Ergonomic Forward-Pointing Foregrip $38, Magpul MS4 Dual QD Sling GEN2 $60, ace case Ammo Sling savage axis $30, Bushnell Prime 1500 Laser Rangefinder $100, walker razor compact passive muff $30, Walker's Vector Shooting Glasses Smk $25. Totals out to $2953 spent

Haha I’ve got about a 9 gun collection right now @ ~10k. I’m looking to add a .308 at the moment (torn between the zastava M77 [but I’d have to upgrade the furniture] or a Tavor 7). Then I think I’ll start diving into Nods and thermals. I’ve got a plate carrier and a modest go bag setup. But I’d like to add a rig and helmet just to give me some kit options. It’s tough to do without a state funded defense budget 😂😅

If I found the correct website then I would go Diamondback AR-15, Canik Mete SFT Loadout kit, Mossberg 500 12gauge, all I saw was a leather sling but probably have some Magpul ones, Swampfox Arrowhead 1-8 LPVO, Aero low profile mount, 2 extra Magpul AR-15 magazines, and Streamlight Protac light.

Three guns, two optics, should land around 2800 before tax, and 2972 after tax (used my states tax of 6%). I could save a big chunk by going with a different shotgun, but if I'm going to do 3 gun, I'm using a semi.

The fact Jake ACTUALLY covered all the bases easily gives the dub to him everytime for sure 2 HIGH Quality guns including a fucking XMacro is insane! And then a mossberg 12g which you can literally NEVER go wrong with I think it was a 500. PLENTY of extra mags for both your carry and primary, amazing. Now obviously The holster - trash, ear pro - trash, eyes - mid but let’s be real, you can get GOOD ears for 50$ (walkers 40-70$ and often on sale) and a cheap blow molded IWB holster for 40-50$. Where as with the other load out the missing mags alone your gonna be looking at 150-200 to fill that gap in spare mags. Plus the other load out didn’t have a real dedicated second primary more so just an option 2 which sure a backpack gun is amazing but your not shouldering it, didn’t have any spare mags, and what’s throwing an optic on it gonna do if you can’t shoulder? Not a lot. Bonus point for good sling but then the absolute trash choice in side arm plus no spare mags easily takes the L there.
I think this challenge was definitely more 1 sided then last time there was a lot more factors leaning toward Jake for the Dub then not
