The high end production episodes like the HK and B&T series are great, but it’s the videos letting your personalities and chemistry shine that I enjoy most. • @Kross8761
      @Kross8761 Год назад +1

@@PCRedman that depends, you can nix the shotgun if you don't bird hunt (I don't) which frees up one slot, and many people don't hunt small game so you could theoretically nix the .22
But a suppressed bolt action .22 is ridiculous amounts of fun.
My list is basically what you said, because I did keep the .22, but I don't own a shotgun (and honestly don't really care to because I don't bird hunt) but in its place I chose my .30-06 that my grandfather gave me on my 18th birthday, it's technically the first gun that was ever "mine"
But for longer range stuff it's not ideal so I have 2 full power rifles and the other is a tack driver for long range stuff.

    5. Henry Golden Boy (.22 Plinker and Marksmanship Training)
I think the AR and the Glock 19 are probably fair choices. My thoughts on the Glock 34 was best muzzle velocity and long sight radius plus same part pool as the Glock 19. The 686 plus is a reliable 7-round .357 magnum revolver from a reputable company requiring little to no maintenance while being a great big game stopper for hunting or backwood hiking. Henry Golden Boy is an accurate, reliable gun that uses cheap ammo for training while being a great gun to teach marksmanship to for younger or inexperienced shooters.

Rifles all have IR devices / Lights, would probably swap out USP with 11.5 KAC CQB with T2+ Magnifier
Reason I say SCAR is because it’s easy to swap out barrels + they’re easy asf to tune and work on and kinda easy to find parts for here and there well in my area and for the SR15 I could swap that out with a mil spec or shit maybe a Scar 16 or MCX but they’re pretty bomb proof regardless.
And ammo is pretty easy to find for all these calibers as well.

@@sissydreams7494 I actually just got a HK45 tactical on Friday! Shot a quick 100 rounds through it right after I got it lol. My first 45, it's a phenomenal gun so far. Love how it shoots. Suppressor height sights took a little getting used to, my point of aim is a bit different than regular height sights but other than that, I can see this being like a totally bomb proof "go to war" apocalypse gun or whatever the heck scenario is in my head at the time 😂. It's a bit on the heavy side especially with 230 grain ammo compared to 9mm, but there's just something really authoritative and reassuring launching a projectile twice the weight at a target. Really rocks those steel targets. Still want a P30L I think lol, would be nice to get that high capacity 9, but I so have 20 round mags for my sk and it works fine.

If everything stopped hypothetically, 300 BO would not be a bad choice if you have the ability to reload. If primers become difficult to obtain, you can scavenge from obsolete to predominately existing rounds. Pretty much the same for projectiles and brass. It can use 556/223 brass trimmed and sized to accept 30 cal bullets. It may seem a bit time consuming or extreme but think of what may be available and predominantly in use. You can find expended brass and 30 cal bullets come in many different rounds to include AK rounds, although you may want to resize that one. Just my thoughts.

How strict are we about what constitutes a gun? AR uppers and pistol chassis braces come to mind
    1) 14.5" carbine: I don't anticipate clearing rooms but a 14.5 can get the job done if needed
    2) 18" SPR/DMR
    3) Glock 19: about as big a handgun as I am able to concealed carry
    4) 9mm PDW: TP9, Recover Tactical, etc. for "backpack carry." Might consider 40 S&W
    5) Mossberg 590: 12ga will be ubiquitous into the future and the usefulness of a reliable pump action cannot be ignored

G23(home defense and winter carry), G27 (EDC) , 300 Blackout Micro AR (active shooter backpack fighting rifle style pistol), My A4 (for a real fight go to war main rifle), and my PSA AKP (for the bears and cats) 😁 I also have backups and part parity for al except the AK. I have conversion barrels and 9mm mags for the Glocks but I also have full slides and parts that I can riff from my other Glocks. With the exception of the barrel the AR’s are part swappable as well.

I just don’t see handguns being very important in an apocalypse situation. 90% of the time it is only a backup out for concealed. More rifles = more better. Guns that can be caliber swapped is a huge plus and the main reason I added my MCX.

In Oahu right now, they shut down the outdoor range for maintenance, so the only ranges are indoor 25 yd. With that in mind and no real idea when the rifle range will reopen, LMT MARS-L lower, S&W M&P 9 with dot and Apex trigger, S&W 340PD (assuming that concealed carry ever happens here), S&W Victory 22, and CZ Shadow 2.

My honest answer, but its the "not sexy" answer: 2 ARs, 2 G19s, and a Shotgun. 2 is 1, 1 is none, especially in the scenario as described in the video. I want the most redundancy as possible while also having the most versatility as possible.
