Great vid guys! 👍 Just ordered an Obsidian can for my two year old Mark 23, long overdue. The $200 below MSRP price combined with a $200 credit for Rugged accessories made it the right time. Put the overall cost of the can package, two additional pistons (M16x1RH and 1/2x28), 9mm end-cap, tax stamp, and all fees at under $1k. That $200 credit on Rugged accessories ends today (3-31-22). The Mark 23 is already a favorite of mine. Lobo's Ind adapter, SureFire X400U light/laser, three 17rd HK USA mags, genuine deployment case...... The can will fill the last empty pocket in the deploy case, and put it over the top.

I will have a Mark 23 someday. Hopefully soon. After shooting one at a range years ago I just need it. It was the best shooting 45 I’ve ever shot. Like shooting a 9mm. The trigger was fantastic imo. Like a crisp smooth 1911 only with more travel obviously. Reliability that cannot be beat and has the same cool factor as something like a Deagle. Slap some 45 supers in that bad boy and it’s almost sorta kinda a Deagle lol.
Hell yes dude - don't give up on the goal. It took me a long time to being able to afford one, and I really second guessed buying a $2000+ pistol - just not really into expensive pistols.... I finally got one last year and no regrets - its fucking amazing. If I had to go out the door into the apocalypse - the most tested handgun in history is my sidearm.

@@Chrisblau oh, trust me, I've put a ton of rounds through that gun over the years. In fact, it's technically the first centerfire handgun I ever owned! I only say technically because I bought 2 in the same transaction, but I went there only intending to buy the MK23. That gun is fantastic on the range! When it isn't strutting its 230gr booty, it lives in its own little plush apartment in my safe. I treat it like a queen and it rocks my world every time I take it for a ride! Maybe I should do a "just for fun" video shooting it next range day...

To that one guy whining about the PPK, the newer ones have extended beaver tails, so the hand slicing thing isn't as bad as on the old Interarms ones. Also, if you go with the PPK/S 22lr version, they actually lowered where your hand sits on the gun, so even though you don't have the extended beavertail you're effectively lower under the slide, so no bite.
I don't review guns but one I unexpectedly liked after renting was the FN FiveseveN pistol. It was just so unique and satisfying, so despite the high price, I had to have it.

Really like the fact that you’re left handed and add your perspective in on that. Not sure if anyones brought it up or you thought about it but I have a Kriss Vector. And I like the fact that if you put buttstock to buttstock with an M4 then the ejection port is a few more inches further away from my face. The manual of arms is different yes but would be worth a review from you being another lefty

Factoring in the dot at that point should be a must and it's just a nice cherry on top too. ya I get it... I only have the PWS MK111 MOD2 in 5.56 and 7.62X39... I'm mad all day because I can't just order ALL THE PWS "just in case" PWS - ACTUAL "PERFECTION" (Particularly if you're fortunate enough to also have the Energetic Armament VOX-S suppressor to shoot with.

I've taken the MK23 out so much lately, my full-size Beretta feels small in my hands. I don't own any other high-end handguns, and I'm definitely not a competitive shooter or anything like that. I mean, there are certainly many other handguns that would have been a more "practical" purchase over the MK23, especially given my general lack of experience. However, there are two reasons why I'm a happy customer; I've been a Metal Gear fan for 20 years, and I drive tacks with the MK23.

There's a lot of modifiers that can change someone's experience. Ammo, muzzle devices, grips. I shot an mp5 and it kinda sucked. Will always prefer auto ak74 or scorpion. M3 also sucked.

C-more serendipity sight for the Korth looks amazing and it’s a great red dot. Super huge field of view and you can change the MOA dot size easily
You guys should try out the S&W TRR8 and keep the niche 8rd .357 revolver train rolling. It weighs less than 35oz and has a cool backstory as well.

I picked up a Mark 23 in Jan of 2020. Quickly became my favorite 45acp handgun. Eats 750 ft/lb muzzle energy 45 Super like a champ.

After shooting a full-auto MP5SD, I wholeheartedly concur with the assertion that everyone should love and want/own one.

I dont like the MP5, but the few issues I have with it go out the window with the SD. I will compromise a lot to get an integral suppressor.
