    Advice: get some dollar store transparent shower curtains and hang them behind the couch. Even if you tuck them away behind the mesh when it isn't supposed to rain. Doesn't look like it gets a lot of light there and it would take FOREVER for cushions to dry, and they get smelly if they hold water for too long. Learned that the hard way my self! Protect your investment. 🤗

    • @Jessa8891
      @Jessa8891 6 лет назад +24

      The rain will just go through the trellis ceiling though. It has a screen on it but rain will just go right through.
      I just don’t think those cushions will stay white for long.

    • @liz8597
      @liz8597 6 лет назад +22

      Most patio cushions have a special waterproof coating on them

    • @itsreallymefyi
      @itsreallymefyi 6 лет назад +17

      Jessica Nicole the trellis has plastic roofing on top of it. You can see it at 3:08

    • @Jessa8891
      @Jessa8891 6 лет назад +3

      itsreallymefyi, it’s not plastic you can tell it’s just a screen.

    • @Chloe-se8uy
      @Chloe-se8uy 6 лет назад +13

      Jessica Nicole No, if you look above, you can see the plastic. Look past the trellis and the screen.

    I have watched soooooo many patio garden make overs and this is the absolute best and I mean the lux, coast and holiday, relax, chill, entertain vibe, and most of all it's also possibly the cheapest and easiest to do ever makeovers. Thank u so much... I don't have a roof but I'm gonna find a way to put up 4 pillars and hang some curtains

    It looks amazing for how much you spent! Personally I wouldn't use pallets, even after power washing them just cause all the hidden bugs but you can always reuse them for any future gardening or other stuff around the house. The look overall is AWESOME. It gives that simple chill vibe. Just be extra cautions when grilling.

We have a few local festivities that month, and one of them is a contest where people decor their patios with flowers to win a award, and you can actually visit them.
