Planes didn’t have the escape path lighting system until Air Canada flight 797. During this unfortunate flight, smoke filled the cabin. Most passengers were unable to escape the plane after it landed when flames shot through the cabin and killed everyone trapped inside the plane
In this country they don't have secret bedrooms but there are two people who can fly the plane so if one of them needs to use the rest room the other person will fly the plane and if the pilot can't wake all through the night they are not fit to fly the plane that time, so you need to be well rested.
One time I was on a flight, and my dad tried to open the door with it. No one was in there, but the flight attendant seemed surprised that we knew that secret, and sent us back to our seats.
